ok just flashed the miui eu 12.5.4 version and on the home screen i see updater icon and it tells me their is a update like 3.2 gigs is this update from the EU? or is would this install stock version?

dirty flash it through twrp and download the updated rom through your website rom channel and the location of it will be in Downloads section of your phone

Wen I m trying to update my redmi 1 s to the latest version of miui 7 on OTA the app download the file which shows only 107mb after which it reboots on its recovery mode to update . After 100% it shows error in udate . plz help
There is no stable version of miui 7 for redmi 1s. If you want to install miui 7 go to official website of miui and download the beta version of miui 7. You can install the zip through the updater app.

How did you updated your phone? I'm trying everything, changed the name of file from "Update,zip" to "update.zip", but when I click in Install update nothing happens...

You need to flash it when you are on stock ZUI which is based on Android 6.

Seems that on closed beta somebody is able to do ota update even without a beta tester account so before flashing this try if it works and tell me thanks.
Wipe cache, dalvik, data is necessary for the first flash if you come from miui 8.
After that only cache and dalvik recommended.
I don't own this rom, this is original Miui 9 taken from xiaomi alpha tester account. Language are only chinese/english .
I'll update the post daily as I get the new version.

U can flash the image with twrp if u have already it in the phone. Just select install and then install image...

Sadly, choose update package via updater still detect alpha tester account.
Dirty flash via zcx twrp is the way to update.
MIUI9... Its cool n smooth...

These roms r more stable. That thread mainly provides customized miui 9 which hangs a lot.

I want to flash the miui pro rom on my whyred.....but on their website the installation instructions has a truck load of steps including flashing official rom through Miflash,then flashing dummy.img etc.
My question is do I need to follow all the steps as I already using a custom rom?

i downloaded latest global HM 9.6.5 GLOBAL CHINA STABLE RECOVERY ROM (1.65GB) and flashed it with Twrp...

DON"T flash older roms! , the anti rolback is activated, you will brick your device for good!
if you not sure and afraid to brick just delete "firmware-update" folder from the miuipro zip file. then you are ready to flash , no mather which firmware you are .
