Chinese ROM? Does it support English and Gapps? Or is it cluttered with Chinese all over the interface which I don't really understand?

Isn't there any beta miui 6 rom for Indian redmi 1s that can be flashed via twrp or CWM? Sorry but have not been following here much.

No specific Indian version hasn't been released yet.
This is Chinese version, but this ROM also has English included. So you can easily flash and set it up for English.
You can find the link for the recovery ROM in the OP. It can be directly flashed through TWRP or some other custom recovery.

No it fails to flash using twrp. Either I am not updated with current version of twrp is a reason or it may only be flashed with stock recovery.

I would have rather used fastboot ROM in order to update basband ,for better network and less battery drain.

one of the most welcome feature of this miui6 update is that u can use any of the sims either 1or 2 for 3g services without physically changing sim slots.

Official beta global miui6 has also been released, check miui forum for more details.

I am not able to install the global version of ROM. It took me whole day to download and at last, it says, "Failed to extract system from dir /system" or something like that! Someone can help me?
I used both TWRP and Phillz recovery!

you can put both slots on 3G Preferred

confused about miui pro installation instructions....

I want to flash the miui pro rom on my whyred.....but on their website the installation instructions has a truck load of steps including flashing official rom through Miflash,then flashing dummy.img etc.
My question is do I need to follow all the steps as I already using a custom rom?

i downloaded latest global HM 9.6.5 GLOBAL CHINA STABLE RECOVERY ROM (1.65GB) and flashed it with Twrp...
DONE
DON"T flash older roms! , the anti rolback is activated, you will brick your device for good!

if you not sure and afraid to brick just delete "firmware-update" folder from the miuipro zip file. then you are ready to flash , no mather which firmware you are .

Maybe I flashed an older rom which is why I bricked my device. Do you have a link to that rom, I can't find it

You should be fine as long as you dont flash older miui versions. You can flash miui pro, but the fwless (removed arb) versions. You can find them on a seperate site not from miuipro official site. Miuipro(.)net

Just download and Choose update zip from storage to update or wait for OTA update
Download OTA from here. If you are using 9.6.5

No, i downloaded the first (400mb) file and flashed from the update setting (you know the three dots)

It is possibe to activate camera2 api with setprop?

I did the update (OTA) and I still have camera2 API.

1080p 60 FPS only works with native camera app.

Anyone know if the fastboot rom also leaked?

I recommend installing MIUI 10 Beta 8.9.20 which is more stable than MIUI stable 10.0.2 and the Beta also comes with sep security patch and face unlock, which is missing in the stable one.

It will format data while installing this ??

Hi, since I make this OTA, I've got problems with the phone vibrator.
I make vibrator sequences with Textra and my Email app, but when I received a notification the phone only vibrates once. I've you got the same problem ?

Yes the rom has been released on official xiaomi.eu but not fastboot rom
So i supposed someone there has found the workaround but not made public yet
Just asking if there are anyone who knows it
If its fastboot rom then i do understand that to install using twrp not yet available but thats not the case
Unlike mi11 they rollout the fastboot version

I have received 12.0.3.0 via OTA. If it has been uploaded on a site you can download zip and then install via updater (click many times on "12", then you see in 3 dots in the right corner "install package...")

ok just flashed the miui eu 12.5.4 version and on the home screen i see updater icon and it tells me their is a update like 3.2 gigs is this update from the EU? or is would this install stock version?

dirty flash it through twrp and download the updated rom through your website rom channel and the location of it will be in Downloads section of your phone
