Just got a P6Pro, and trying out the inbuilt screen recorder. When it starts my phone beeps and vibrates, using my default notification sound.
I can't find screen recorder in Apps or Notifications.......any way to turn this off?
The only customization that A12 offers you is
-> Swipe down from home menu
-> Press Screen record
-> Adjust Recording Device (only Microphones or entire Device Audio or combined) & Show Touches on Screen
No in-built settings menu here. Maybe there is a hidden one, but I've never read about that before.
Yeah that is all I could find too.

Hi there,
Not sure if this is the best place to post this or not because it potentially applies to other devices running froyo but I'll start here since I have a G2.
I was curious if there was a way to get a direct shortcut to the volume control sliders (Menu -> Settings -> Sound -> Volume). There doesn't seem to be one by default (only one to get to Sound settings). There seems to be apps that can do this but I wanted to see if it could be done possibly through an Any Cut shortcut, but I do not know how to go about finding out which parameters to use (i.e. Action/intent) to launch the default volume control (using Any Cut's "make your own" option because there doesn't seem to be one listed under Activity by default).
Also, there seems to be a minor "bug" with getting to the volume control from the Sound settings menu when the phone is in Vibrate or Silent mode. Both of these modes check the "Silent mode" box in Sound settings, but when that box is checked, the "Volume" selection which launches the volume control is disabled. So, in order to launch the volume control you need to first take your phone out of Silent mode to change say the media volume level. If this is indeed a bug, albeit a minor one, how would I go about submitting this to the proper people?
Sorry for the long post...thanks very much.
Is there a way to change the incoming call screen to accept a "regular" button for accept and decline.
The CM settings only allow for various sliding styles or the trackball for accept but no regular buttons.
The Apps I tried like minimal dialer etc, add a huge delay to the screen.
have you tried rocket dialer?
Can anyone help with this.
The sound menu has the System tab containing Keypad Touch Tones, Touch Sounds, Screen Lock Sounds, Pull-to-Refresh Sounds, Vibrate on Touch. Some of these i need explanations for as they do not seem to work. My handset is not on Power Saving mode.
Touch Sounds - Plays sounds when making screen selection. .
Pull-to-Refresh sounds - Plays sounds when refreshing feeds and content.
Obviously the description the menu gives is self explanatory but i dont hear anything from these 2 options.
Eg. il swipe left to blinkfeed or go into the app drawer and no sound is heard. Isnt this meant to be the 'Touch Sound.'
If im scrolling through Blinkfeed and pull down to refresh shouldnt i hear a sound if 'Pull-to-Refresh Sound' is active.
NB. The other menu boxes work in sounds although 'Screen Lock Sounds' is practically inaudible but does work.
Am i missing something?
Again thanks for your time and any reply.
When I have the ring tone on, I want it to vibrate and make sound at the same time, instead of just making sound, any ideas on how to do this?
Assuming you want this behavior while receiving a phone call, tap on the Phone icon, then select the 3 dots menu on the top right of the screen, then Settings, then Ringtones and Keypad Tones, and enable Vibrate While Ringing.

Click to collapse
Everything starts in Settings .
Is there any way to disable the notification beeps that happens while in a voice call? Phone is already set to dnd silent, non vibrate but the usual media sounds are on for music.
Also, can the Awo display be tuned to only wake for messages? Now it's waking on every single notification that comes in.
In phone app hit the 3 dots top right go to settings select calls then select additional settings, call waiting on/off slider is there
