I own a realme 3 (RMX1825) and I am noticing it lagging and freezing very often now. I have tried cleaning out internal space, it has more than half of it empty, doesn't make much of a difference. I have even tried resetting it and even that didn't help. The only possible problem that pops in my mind is that realme could have knowingly pushed a laggy update as it's about time to update our phone, but I don't have any plans that align with theirs.
Is there any way I can find out the most stable version of the realme 3 with a few or no bugs of this kind that I can downgrade to? Or should I just randomly download any update and flash it? Or any installing update from any other region would make a difference?

I got my 2nd note 5 global last week. The first one is perfectly fine on the same firmware. With the new one I had two issues from the get go.
The screen started flickering when turned to full brightness (this issue was gone after the third factory reset) and the device is heating up which still persists.
I already reached out to the shop I bought from. I heard that with this miui version, there are some issues on other Xiaomi devices but that the 5 pro is fine.
Any chance, that by flashing to an older version of miui this issue could be solved?
For anyone interested I include two videos. One of the phone while charging and one while idle. In both situations the phone was factory reset and no mobile data or wifi on.
Videos were mirrored after the upload and I don't have the original files anymore but you get the idea.

If you unlocked bootloader in your new global version Flash MIUI 10 through TWRP. Hopes it will solve the heating issue.
Thanks for the advice flashed Miui 10, Resurrection Remix and Lineage os all with the same issue. Will try to lock the bootloader again and still waiting for an answer from the shop.
try going developer options,
under background process limit, no processes
under background check, tick only necessary apps, untick those that you do not want to run in background like facebook
So i just updated my moto z play to OREO via the official OTA last month. Since then i've been experiencing bad battery life. I already did a factory reset and monitored the battery with just the stock apps installed and the battery bug "system ui' is always the culprit. Booted to safe mode and that bug is gone.
So here is my scenario
Safe Mode: SYSTEM UI bug NOT PRESENT
Normal Mode with NO third party apps: SYSTEM UI BUG STILL PRESENT
I can maybe conclude that it was the OREO update that was causing this. Maybe a corrupt download or something.
Issues i'm facing
1.Battery bug "system ui' always on top of my battery charts
2.Navigation bar changing positions each unlock, some say its an oreo feature to prevent burn in but when i booted to safe mode the nav bars are not changing positions. So which is which?
3. Wifi sometimes doesn't wanna turn on, if i hit turn on it just resets back to off regardless. Needs a phone restart to work again.
4. Interface sometimes freezes and lags while scrolling.
My question is that is it possible to re install the stock oreo update AGAIN even if i'm already on official 8.0? I'm not rooted and never did rooted my z play. Already did multiple factory resets but the same scenario above happens. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
I knew the soak test were out but did not know that Oreo release was available ota. It will change your booltloaders. Every time I google for oreo I get a bunch of problems listed but you may find more help there than here since this tends more toward custom ROMs. Make sure none of the apps you have added are loading things...
So about a few years ago, I tried to root my galaxy note 4 (n910aucu2doi3), but I guess it rejected the root because it instantly bricked my phone, to the point where I had to completely wipe it using android recovery. The only way to get my operating system back was to download it online and install it through my PC (I had to find the exact version for my phone as well, 5.1.1 at the time, because it rejected every single other version).
Everything seemed to be working fine, except that I couldn't install software updates on my phone anymore. It was permanently stuck on 5.1.1. It was a bit of an annoyance but I didn't think much of it at the time.
Fast forward to now, and I'm getting several signs that my OS may be corrupted. My phone is constantly freezing, crashing and restarting. Maneuvering through applications causes the phone to freeze for a few seconds before either restarting or crashing the app. I want to say it's definitely a software issue, but I did install a new battery recently and it was working fine for a few weeks, could that be the issue?
If not, I want to start over, but I'm not sure how, and I don't know if it's safe to do a factory reset on this OS. Is there anyway I can get a fresh stock version of an android OS that can also update?
Any help is appreciated, I'm pretty much desperate.
I manually updated to 6.0.1 with the help of this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-att/general/updates-thread-t3663943
It seems to have fixed the issues so far, and my phone can automatically update again
hi yesterday night the phone downloaded itself and installed miui13. In addition, the new miui has a lot of bugs, one incredibly big one touched me. Namely, I cant place calls to numbers that I have never called before. The only place I can call is to people whom I have already called, and when I want to call a new person, the call is interrupted after a second. This is a big problem for me because I need a phone at work and now it is useless. I tried to upload a custom rom, but with every try and guide on youtube, when I am already at the "fastboot" stage and connect my phone to my computer, the miflash-unlock application doenst see it. In addition when he wants to downgrade miui to version 12, the phone sends a message that it isnt possible. I manually downloaded the current miui13 overlay and reinstalled with the thought that reinstalling it would fix something, but I was wrong. So my current situation is that I can't make new connections and install a custom rom (unless I'm still doing something wrong but I've watched a few hours of tutorials) and I can't install the miui12 overlay either. Maybe someone is able to help me fix my current miui13 overlay or install an older one? Phone hard reset didnt help either.
I need help with my Poco f3. Ever since I updated my OS to Miui 13, my phone keeps rebooting every time I open any applications. Sometimes I can open them, but the phone still reboots randomly. I tried everything, did factory resets, and wiped out all the data, thinking it would solve the problem, but it did not. I also tried to downgrade to Miui 12.5, but I can't do so because I cannot unlock my phone. It says it needs 168 hours before unlock. My phone is very unusable right now, and I don't know what else to do but wait 168 hours/7 days to unlock my phone and install a new ROM. Is there any other way I can do to resolve this issue?
I have the exact same problem, I tried several solutions on the internet but nothing worked.
Every night my phone starts restarting nonstop. I'm waiting until Monday to finally unlock my bootloader, install an AOSP and never hear from MIUI again.

Take it to service if it's unusable... If you're from a third world country there's a good chance they will downgrade the phone on the spot , if no you'll probably have couple days of downtime without phone
Other than that yeah nothing - except if you can find newer version you should be able to flash it from the miui updater. I'd personally do a factory reset first - then update via method below and after upgrade factory reset again! If that doesn't fix it idk, you'll have to determine whether flashing full ROM once BL is unlocked fixes it or if you should go and have the motherboard replaced...
You have to first enable "developer options" of the miui updater app , download the update firmware that's higher version than what you're on and then you can select the firmware in the app
Update: Fixed this by switching to ArrowOs, it seems that miui really is the problem haha
I believe it doesn't have anything to do with schedule turn on turn off? On miui you could schedule the phone to turn off at anytime and turn on anytime according to the settings...
