SM-G986U1 Rev1 Bootloader Unlock? - Samsung Galaxy S20 / S20+ / S20 Ultra Questions &

Hello,
I have an SM-G986U1 which is the S20+ 5G US Unlocked variant.
It has been lying around for a while and the baseband version is at G986U1UEU1DUB7 and OneUI version at 3.1.
Build Number is RP1A.200720.012.G986U1UEU1DUB7.
Android Security Level is March, 2021.
From what I hear, my revision number is 1 so I can unlock it, but will have to downgrade to OneUI version 3.0.
But I am not able to find any threads that guide with unlocking Rev1. Can someone please point me in the right direction? I did try searching but had a hard time finding anything. I know there are websites that unlock it for you but that's a quite a lot of USD they are asking for, plus it multiples a lot when you convert it to your home currency.
Thank you!

Unlock Sprint SM-G920P for use on UK carrier

Hi guys,
I was wondering if someone could offer me a bit of advice.
I have been doing a lot of reading and searching around the forum to find out if its possible to Unlock a Sprint S6 so that I can use it here in the UK.
I have been able to confirm that the radio band my preferred carrier uses is compatible with the phone but beyond that I am struggling.
Is it just a case of me flashing stock s6 uk firmware using odin or will I have pay for one of those SIM unlock codes advertised all over the web, I was able to recently flash and unlock my S4 mini using stock firmware, rooting the phone then running an apk file (cant remember the name)
Has anyone had any success in getting a sprint galaxy S6 unlocked in the past so that it could be used in UK.
I would be grateful for any comments and or pointers in the right direction if I am way of the mark here.
Thanks in advance for reading. Cheers.
edit to add: Software version G920PVPU1A0C9
Hardware version G920P.02
Android Version 5.0.2
Security Software Version - MDF v2.0 release 2 - VPN v1.4 release 4

What's the difference between F900U and U1 when the unlocked Best Buy version is U?

I'm very confused and a little bit frustrated that I cannot figure out where to go with flashing the unlocked firmware on my AT&T Galaxy Fold that I unlocked myself.
So here's the thing. I know that the U1 models indicate that it's the unlocked version, and I know that after buying the unlocked Galaxy S9+ that has the SM-G965U1 model number. But when you go over to Best Buy, the model number you see on the product page is SM-F900UZSDXAA. This is the U model, but it also ends in XAA which I'm also pretty sure indicates it's unlocked.
This all just leads me to be very confused and I could desperately use some help. I know I can just flash the U1 firmware but I'm trying to get the same exact firmware with the same U model number shown in my settings as the unlocked Galaxy Fold from Best Buy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

AT&T S20+ 5G not receiving updates

Hi Community,
I bought my S20+ 5G in October and since then it has not received any updates, neither security patches nor Android 11. I called AT&T and Samsung both but they kept putting the blame on each other. By searching online I realized this seems like a theme in these kind of issues. The only option I feel I have at this point is to install the upgrade myself. I'm more concerned with Android 11 than security patches. I still got for security patch from June 2020 and One UI 2.1.
With this context can you please help with the below questions:
1. When I try to look up the firmware using Model:SM-G986U and CSC:ATT in Frija or SamMobile nothing comes up. I'm looking for G986USQU1CTKH. Am I missing something?
2. But it does come up with CSC:TMB. Can I install this version on ATT branded phone?
2a. Is the TMB version exactly same as ATT version?
3. Does this process trip the Knox counter?
4. Does this process void the warranty?
5. Are missing software updates covered under manufacturer warranty?

AT&T doesn't allow their firmware to be publicly available for any of their devices. Have you attempted updating your device with Smartswitch? Flashing T-mobile's firmware isn't an option to receive updates on your device. This post has information and answers to your questions.
G986U and G986U1 Firmware Links and Flashing Discussion Here
For those who aren't already aware, G986U is the model number of all of the US carrier versions of the S20+. The G986U1 is the model number of the same device, but sold by Samsung SIM unlocked and with no carrier bloatware. Firmware is 100%...

Question How does one manually install the SM-F926NU/U1 OneUI 4.0 OFFICIAL RELEASE?

How does one manually install the SM-F926NU/U1 OneUI 4.0 OFFICIAL RELEASE?
I have flashed the U1 software on to my AT&T SM-F926U phone so it is not U1. I was curious is it possible to flash the Korean official release? Is that the only one that's been released so far? Also, as far as unlocking the bootoader once your on ONEUI 4.0 does OEM unlock appear on the phone as I seen the cameras no longer die....?
The official rollout has been halted due to serious issues with the release (there are plenty of posts and news stories you can find on searching). So, right now, the answer would be no, unless you really MUST have it and can find it, I would wait.
As for the camera's still being locked when the bootloader is unlocked, no firm answer as of yet as there have been conflicting reports.

I have the Canadian W series with the U1 software installed. I tried installing the KOO series UKO (latest 7 December) with modified ODIN (abl(1) error; probably some sort of bootloader check error). So, no OEM/bootloader unlock for the US/Canada (blocking that has to be a violation of some law somewhere or maybe soon).

KOREAN is N series; US is U (carrier) and U1 (unlocked) while Canadian is W (Canada does not have carrier locked phones)

You can NOT install the Korean build to the US models. And the official 4.0 has not been released to the US yet.

samsung is redoing the beta for now
and also they restarted doing the one ui 4 update to as form what i gotton
First, it's a good idea to read the threads already posted. Your question has already been addressed in a few of them. I've even posted about Sammy postponing the rollout due to several issues found in A12 in 1 or 2.
Second, in doing so, you'd see that regional models have different alpha codes on the end of the model number. The Korean model is NOT the same as the US, just like the Chinese isn't, etc.
Third, there is a thread that shares the process of using Odin to install the betas for A12. If you WANT to attempt it, please read that thread very thoroughly. Seeing that you've been a member since 2012, I'm sure you already know this.
Updates are rollin in I guess and we will get it for sure.
Thread closed due to redundancy. Please continue with your discussion here.

Samsung S20+ Missing Bootloader

Hello
I just got an S20+. I want to install Graphene or whatever, I want to at least be able to remove google and other crap. I have read it is not possible on the snapdragon models in the US, but most of those posts are old from 2020... I have also read it is possible. I have read there is a paid service that can do it. Can any pros tell me what the deal is, because nothing ive tried works and Im trying to decide to keep the phone or just send it back at this point. If I have to use a paid service that wants $75 then I'm better off getting a more expensive phone and not paying...
My old phone took a bath and I had to wait several days for this POS to arrive so any help would be appreciated.

What is your baseband version?
If I recall correctly, you must be on v1 bootloader (pre Mar 2021 security update) in order to be able to unlock.
See this thread on how to unlock the bootloader (paid service):
[Android][UNSAMLOCK] Bootloader Unlock for Samsung US/Canada Devices
This thread is @svetius approved Important notice: Do not update to April 2023 security update (XXXXXXXXXXWCX) or later. Examples: G998USQS6EWCA, N986USQU4HWD1. Samsung has patched the bootloader unlock again on those updates. NOTE: The OneUI...
