Question SIM cards not working - Xiaomi Poco F3 / Xiaomi Mi 11X / Redmi K40

Hi everyone.
Been using F3 for 3-4 months, but few weeks after moving to Iceland I started experiencing problems with SIM cards and the inability to dial/receive a call/connect to network. I've been using two cards, one from home country, other from Iceland. Problem is that often I cannot make a call (lingers in dialing mode, then just drops) or receive one (caller gets unavailable note) but the internet connections is ok, or I can't connect to network at all (greyed out signal bars).
I've tried cards in older phone, they are working.
I've tried resetting network settings as described on the net, but with no success. I've tried factory reset, but nothing changed.
Anyone having any idea what to do? Send it to service?

UPDATE: Phone was inspected by Mi Service, and their conclusion was a hardware isuue.
I'm sending it to China for warranty. Bought it through official Poco AliExpress shop, so no international warranty there.

No Sw. Dead radio - any way to diagnose?

My 2 month old One X seems to have developed a problem today, with it's GSM/UMTS radio. Was working fine this morning in Dublin. Caught a ferr y back to the UK and it was still fine but by the time I got to my office in Chester, it was showing no service. I just put it down to a local issue with the Vodafone network. But, on the 200 hundred mile drive back to London, despite rebooting and trying to force it to re-register as GSM, WCDMA in GSM/WCDMA modes, I've still not managed to get anything other than No Signal. Clearly not a general Vodafone network problem as the UK news and internet sites would be all over it.
I got back home and tried the other Vodafone SIM that I use in my Galaxy Tab (screwing up the SIM slot in the Tab, in the process) but exactly the same problem. I've spoken to Vodafone and despite me trying the other SIM, they've just said it looks like your SIM isn't registering with the network, so we'll send another out. All good except I'm off on holiday tomorrow.
I'm wondering if the radio "chip" itself has gone AWOL and wondered if there is any way to diagnose that on the handset itself? Any ideas if that's possible or anything else I can try to diagnose the issue?
Failing that, I guess it needs to go back to HTC for repair/replacement. Anybody know how warranty repairs work and how long it's likely to take to resolve and anything I should do with the phone beforehand?
You need to try your sim in another phone to eliminate the sim card
If its the same in another phone its the sim if it works fine its the phone

[Q] T-999 Won’t Dial or Receive Calls, Shows 4 Bars

Samsung Galaxy S3 (T-999) stock, not making or receiving calls. Has been getting worse over the last 6-8 weeks. Now phone is almost unusable. Shows 4 bars of signal.
Phone says dialing, but never connects, no ringing sound. Sometimes after power cycling can make two or three calls. Often does not get data connection, though even when shows 4g cannot access data services. When others call, they go to vox mail. No ring or notification on phone. No error message.
Have tried several trouble shooting steps: Have tried different network modes. Have tired manually selecting T-Mobile. Have booted into safe mode. Have cleared the cache. Have done factory reset. Have tried different know good T-Mobile SIM card, and finally I replaced the SIM & SD Card Reader Module.
Nothing has had any effect, can anyone suggest a next step?
Flash stock firmware and factory reset. If its still happening after that theres a good chance its hardware or network issues.
In case anyone has a similar situation- flashed the factory ROM as DocHoliday77 suggested, but that still didn't fix the problem.
Had to send it off to Samsung for repair, who diagnosed a corrupted ESN and replaced the system board, (or PBA in Samsung speak).
Cost was $70, which also added a new 1 year warranty on the phone, and the customer service was excellent.
I doubt they really replaced the board. Do you have a new IMEI/ESN number ?
It actually wouldn't surprise me tbh. Its a much simpler process to swap a motherboard than to fix the IMEI/ESN problems! (I've done both, many times!)
I'd imagine, just for customer service sake, they would swap the board for a refurb and send it back. Then they can take their time getting around to fixing the original one. Then it would be come the refurb and the cycle of life continues!

HTC One - Sim Card Signal - No Signal

Hi, i recently bought and refunded 3 HTC 10 devices, and they have have the same problem, you can call it SIM Card error, you can call it signal error, in a nutshell, when i am not using my phone, the signs vanishes and my phone is switched off to whoever calls me, however the second i call anyone, signals comes back, i have video/photos of this incident.
Has anyone faced this problem ?
Tried replacing your sim-card? They are basicly free and should get swapped out without anny issue from your operator. Many stores can do this for you aswell if you ask nicely.

Samsung galaxy A50 SIM/ Mobile data problems

Hello,
Maybe you guys can help me out before I throw this phone in the dumpster.
So my phone started to overheat for no apparent reason and would shut off completely and I took it to the shop to repair, apparently the charging port was the issue, they fixed it for a reasonable price and it was all good.
Day went by with no problems and now today I cant make calls, text or use mobile data. The signal keeps going from 4 bars to 3 to 1 to the no entry sign for both sims.
I've tried swapping the sims, putting just 1 sim in i even factory reset the phone but still nothing, im not sure what else to do here. maybe my sim cards are interfering with each other or theres some obvious issue im missing?
I've tried both sim cards with another phone and both work fine, i instantly receive the configuration message from my phone provider as soon as i boot up the other phone with the sim in it but with the a50 im getting nothing.
No 4g no messages no calls nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The phone is in near perfect condition bought it about 6 months ago and I dont really want to spend any more money taking it to the repair shops and i'll end up just buying another phone.
Thanks.

About the Baseband Issue!

Dear forum elders, dear friends,
About 1.5 months ago I bought 1 Mi 10T, 8/128 device and until 2 days ago, the strangeness started in the device, which was working flawlessly with everything;
By the way, for 1.5 months the phone bootloader was off and I was using everything original.
When I was shopping after work, I noticed that the telephone network was gone at the grocery store I entered, there were frequent commutes, I didn't care much, but when I had a job with mobile banking, the situation got serious. My line is Pttcell, by the way ....
I asked the informal cashier friend if the operator and his phone were working, Turk Telekom and he said it works (Same infrastructure)
Then I went home and saw that the network had improved and I thought it was a temporary problem until I got back to the market place ...
Afterwards, a fire fell into me, as you know, the device is abroad, a long time passed and a sudden malfunction started ...
What is written above is the occurrence and development stages of the fault, by the way, in the device; no tumble, fall, crash, dislocation, change, dye under the skirt, etc. You know, if I drop it for once, I won't be sad ...
Then I talked to the supplier and got advice, he is a friend who does not understand much about this business, he only sells, but he said that such problems are usually software and if I open the bootloader and do a repair, the device will most likely be fixed ...
In previous tests, I found that the device had no problems with the capture, and usually stuck in band1 (2100), band3 (1800) and band7 (2600mhz). The application I use for this is "Network Cell Info Lite" and after unlock / repair it is widely used as "Network Signal Guru".
I am dealing with semi-professional repairs myself. Normally, such errors are caused by the IC called RF_Amplifier and pass as an antenna problem, the device loses the network unconditionally at all frequencies, the call is interrupted, etc. But in band 3, 1 and 7, the device has no problem, so neither draw nor break, etc. While at home, I actively use everything including VoLTE, I do not have access problems and interruptions.
When I manually switch the network to other modes Except 4G and 5G, it completely goes away. In modes such as 2G (GSM - Edge) 3G (HSDPA - WCDMA), there is no network signal on the device.
After trying with 2 more operators and clarifying the situation, I decided that there was a baseband malfunction and wanted to share the situation with you, dear Masters. If there is anything you want to ask or want me to try in detail, I look forward to your valuable help / comments and suggestions.
Transactions made so far;
Originally, 2 types of sim cards have been tried with Vodafone and Turk Telekom, both have the same symptoms (I couldn't find Turkcell, but I don't think it will change the result)
Bootloader unlocked, repaired with original QCN, repaired with Qcn taken from a different device, the result is still the same ...
The questions in my mind;
Does modem software cause such a problem?
Is there a possibility that it is from the Modem Chip?
Are there any chances of it being one of the Network Switchers (IC)?
If you encounter this kind of problem and have a solution, I expect your help, otherwise my new phone will be a very expensive tablet ...
Best regards.
