6GB RAM and 128GB Flash

Hi,
Any news about the model with 6GB of RAM?
I want to know the final over price compared with the 4GB version; and the expected release date.

I bought 6gb version from Amazon.in but not yet shipped. Shipping starts from 7th March this is what they have provided the update. Also this is not 128GB version. It comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM. They would have proivded 128Gb instead of 64GB since M30 higher version comes with 128GB and lesser price i.e.,18k

I bought the 6GB/64GB A50 today at the Samsung Cafe store today. Was informed that the 128GB variant won't be launching in India anytime soon.

I feel Samsung is joking with us:
- In India you can purchase 4G+64 and 6G+64.
- In Philippines they accept pre-orders only of 6G+128.
- In Europe only the 4G+128 is published.
The 4GB of RAM version is a pure joke! Only the 6GB of RAM version has enough memory to run smoothly.
So, why in some markets (like Europe) the 6GB version ins't available?

Pixel 3 and 3xl too have 4gb ram. But, do they slow down? No, because it depends on optimization and ram management. 3gb is sufficient for now.

Sorry for people that thinks 4GB of RAM isn't a joke!
Please, take note about this:
- My previous 2018 & 2017 mid-range smartphones have 4GB of RAM, so it's time to go forward.
- All flagships of 2019 have 6, 8 or more RAM, so 6GB isn't much memory.
- Android Q & R will expect to have 4GB of minimum RAM, so for the two next upgrades 4GB will be the minimum.
- From 2019 the stock memory range is entry-level-->4GB, mid-range-->6GB, premium-->8GB.
Please, take note that this model is for 2019-2020, so the 4GB it's a cut-down version. And the problem is: In Europe (perhaps in other areas too) only the version with 4GB will be avaiable. And this in fact is a joke!

No it's a common misconception that future phone will need more RAM , I am using a 4 yr old device with just 1.5 GB Ram and I can Play PUBG Mobile (It's at least playable, because it's a SD400 Series processor). 4 GB RAM is enough for a smartphone
My phone has Android pie (Bootleggers ROM) and it works Perfectly fine with 1.5 GB ram.
Pixel and iPhone have only 4GB RAM but still they are flagships, due to their software optimizations.
DONT EXPECT YOUR PHONE TO BE FASTER IF IT HAS MORE RAM, IT ALL DEPENDS UPON THE PROCESSOR

I have malaysian version with XME firmware and 6GB ram with 128 GB storage. Anyone knows if they are going to send new update for this version because I am stuck on february patch while others have moved on to april update.

As Samsung doesn't like to sold the 6GB version of the A50 in EUROPE, I'll purchase the A70... that has ONLY 6GB of RAM in EUROPE (and 8GB in India).
WHY THIS?

So guys what do you think redmi note 7 with 6gb ram, SD 660 and dual camera or redmi note 8 with 4gb ram, SD 665 and quad camera? Do you think those 2gb ram would be better than a newer SoC?

Does Xiaomi lie about the amount of RAM in their phones? (Redmi Note 8T)

I recently bought a 3GB / 32GB Redmi Note 8T and noticed that the amount of RAM my phone has is being reported as 2,645.4 MB
Should it be more like 1024MB x 3 = 3,072MB ?
I'm using the free App called Phone Information
My much older Phone - The Cubot Max reports it has 2,934MB so I was disappointed to find my much newer Redmi Note 8T had approx 10% less memory.
it seems to me Xiaomi put just enough RAM to go over 2.5Gb so they could round up to 3GB.

No phone gets the exact amount of ram it is offered. It will be always less. Because (I think), a little portion of ram is consumed by system which you can't use.

its not Xiaomi only all brands gives the same amount of ram if you bought 4gb ram phone it shows only 3.6gb ram because OS uses some amount of it

What is the difference between V2185A and V2145. I found devices with 12gb ram and 256 gb storage with both V2185A or V2145 and they were the same price. is there a difference ??
