Hi, OTA is supported for POCO M3. But always take a backup of your important files or documents. Some times, even OTA may go wrong independent of device. Just like the installer problem..
great work ! congrats ! really appreciate. if only you could work out the adb/mtp/sd card issues along with earphones so device could be used to listen to music.

Did you install it on Poco M3 ( citrus) or did you install it on other juice devices?
Hi, I have the same issue as the OP, however UBPorts Recovery is working fine. Always boots to that.
If I run: fastboot oem device-info
(bootloader) Verity mode: true
(bootloader) Device unlocked: true
(bootloader) Device critical unlocked: true
(bootloader) Charger screen enabled: false
adb runs fine when in Recovery. I can see the "disk" and top works showing all the processes.
Not sure how to proceed. Tried 0.9.1 and 0.8.9 both Linux and Windows. Same result.
Any help most welcome. Thanks in advance.

I hope some clever, kind soul can help me here. I just tried to backup my current rom using rom manager and now my phone can't mount my sd card or read my sim. I think it may have something to do with amonra recovery which I thought I'd failed to install but now appears when I go into recovery. Even when I mount a different sd card the phone can't read it. I think I'm well out of my depth here but am crossing everything hoping for assistance.
Okay I've read and read and read for the last 3 hours and I'm still totally clueless. The phone won't connect to pc either. Any help would be appreciated. Time for 3 hours sleep now
Classic USB Brick. Don't worry, try this: http://android.modaco.com/content/h...com/309939/usb-brick-rickrolled-b0rked-fixed/
Thanks but I'm confused. My hboot is 0.93 and when I follow the next link it seems to suggest I need to downgrade hboot. Is this right or am I being really stupid?
Or is it this I should be following:
2. Enable the SD Card functionality. Boot your phone in FASTBOOT mode (back + power), and enter this command: 'fastboot oem enableqxdm 0' . This will re-enable your SD card.
If so, I don't understand how to enter any command here. There is no option to enter anything. Once again any replies would be very welcome
You have to install Android SDK in order to issue those commands. http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
Okay thanks for your patience. I'll do that next. Don't leave me

That's windows for you. You do have a 32 bit system, right ? Try rebooting your PC. You have installed it in the default location c:\Program Files\blabla..
Yes it's a 32 bit system and I installed to default location. I've checked java update too and have the latest version. I rebooted but to no avail. I don't think my mum can help with this one....

Try uninstalling SDK and Java, reinstall Java and after that SDK.
will do. As an interesting sidenote my phone won't charge from mains only via usb connection and even that's sporadic

Try running it as "administrator".
You can use the ZIP version , unzip it , then dowload the tools using the manager , or download only the tools package
little trick :
If you want to use the installer anyway , hit the "back" button when you get the java error , then next again . The error should vanish. worked for me

It seems to be downloading a whole bunch SDK platforms quite slowly. Does that sound right? Thanks again btw
well... no...
You just need the tools , not the whole developpement platform.
Just select the SDK tool in the package window

Make sure you know how to ADB sideload. I'm not responsible for any damage to your phone.
Steps:
0. Make sure you are on G928AUCS4CQA1 or March update G928AUCS4CQB2 Baseband. Check this 3 times
1. Backup everything of importance on your phone!!!
2. Now, make sure you have "show file extension" enabled in Windows, and file is ready for ADB as you download SS-G928AUCS4CQA1-to-U4EQC6-UP.zip or after March 20 update SS-G928AUCS4CQB2-to-U4EQC6-UP.zip
3. Shutdown your phone
4. Enter recovery mode by pressing volume up, home and power button together
* A green Droid will appear on screen with the text Installing system update…
5. Using the Volume Button Navigate and the Power button to select ‘Apply Update from ADB’
6. Connect your phone via USB to your computer
7. Open a CMD prompt from your PC. Type cd
in my case: cd C:\Users\Norbarb\Desktop\Note5
8. Navigate to the directory that contains the update SS-G928AUCS4CQA1-to-U4EQC6-UP.zip or after March 20 update SS-G928AUCS4CQB2-to-U4EQC6-UP.zip
*Note I had issue when the directory contained a space. Moving the update to a directory with no spaces resolved the issue.
Also moved the adb driver to the same directory 'C:\Users\Norbarb\Desktop\Note5'
9. Type adb devices. You should see 1 device listed
10.Type adb sideload SS-G928AUCS4CQA1-to-U4EQC6-UP.zip or after March 20 update SS-G928AUCS4CQB2-to-U4EQC6-UP.zip
11. This took around 25 minutes to complete
12. Phone will now be updated Nougat

I can look for it tomorrow. I'm not familiar with S6E+ at all, i just find update because one of the member ask me if i can. I have no idea what is ladest available firmware for your devices. But like i said i can look for it.

Seems edge+ (and probably note 5) got huge upgrade in Android 7 update. Including performance mode which is not available to gs6.
So far I noticed and worth to mention.
Camera UI renewal
Performance mode
New function from nougat, notification panel and night mode
All the Samsung app seems all redesigned
Display render resolution can be changed between 720p, fhd and wqhd
Battery is better especially for standby time
Great job from Samsung this time

if you can acces to recovery, the only thing you can do is adb sideload ...bin
with an original stock ROM for your fire phone
(.bin must be the extension of the file, that you can get from official amazon site)

Yes man, his phone is recovered and I had this error, solution for "cannot read" is here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/fire-phone/help/adb-sideload-error-read-t3634246
The phone must be installed TWRP Recovery. Use at your own risk, I'm not responsible for bricking your device.

4. Install - Install Image - select lineage-17.1-20200413-UNOFFICIAL-treble_arm64_bvN.img - select System Image and Confirm to flash.
5. Select Reboot - System ( boot without magisk )
6. Setup the Phone
7. INSTALL GAPPS: Enter TWRP Recovery Mode

After some attempts to flash it Properly it suddenly fell back in to OEM-Locked!
Pleas if you now some advice it be greatly aprichiatet

All i know in case of my Samsung Galaxy A50 it is Possible!
To lift the OEM-Lock mode again.
i do not know if that is true for every Device.
Ultimately i was successful to install full Root-access!
I had great difficulty tho to use Heimdall ore any tool on Linux so i ended up using Odin in a VirtuelBox with WinXPpro
but do to no support of Long file names i had to trick there, to to make it work.
I just shorten the Names of every .tar to the first 2 letters.
I was able to successfully flash TWRP with Heimdall but not the Android ROM for my Phone.
I still wonder how to make it work!
There was one Thing i Noticed when Using Odin it seams in the Process he flashes vbmeta.img twice.
That impossible with Heimdall it creates a error message.
Well if anyone - that passes here - knows how to flash a Android 10 ROM of a Samsung Galaxy A50 using Heimdall let me know i tried very very hard to no avail.
I was surprised to learn there is no Good Tool for Linux-user doing this Task.
i only found Old Tutorials!
Is it truly possible that Heimdall dose not support modern Phone-flashing anymore properly?
As of now if a Linux-user ask me about Rooting i would advice him/her to do it in a VritualBox with windows installed.
If you have a License of a Windows Version Higher then XP good otherwise you have to Shorten File names if the very long to make it work.
I scarcely use windows anymore that why i only have a old WinXPpro legally in my Possession.
Unbelievable that the Linux-Community should not have a modern Flash Tool!???

Hello to @everyone
I had great difficulty to do this as a Linux User using Heimdall and eventually had to give up (after trying for 3 full days)!
I ended up doing it using Windows out of a VirtualBox!
It was Possible tho to successfully flash TWRP using Heimdall!
It also showed Success when Flashing Android 10 Version for my Phone but would not work.
Using the same Firmware with Odin it worked just fine.
When i compared the Flash-Protocol of Odin with what i did i only Noticed that Odin would flash vbmeta.img twice in the Process something that cant be done with Heimdall as it produces the duplicate error.
I wonder if this is the Reason it would not work.
I was also surprised to Learn, that there is virtual now Tutorial out there using Heimdall on a Modern Phone (last 12 Month ore less).
Is it truly Possible that There is now good solution for Linux Users?
I also Looked in to Fastboot and ADB and other Tools for Linux Platform and they all seam to be outdated!
Also all this Tools could not accomplish the task at hand.
Now if its me and anyone knows how to make it Work on Heimdall let me know as it is a Pretty good tool after all and by now i know it well. I would gladly start to make a tutorial and provide it here for free if i know how to make it work.
I have a txt file where i made a complete Protocol of all i tried if someone is curious ill send it to you.
Saludos Hans
##################################################################
I send some more Details of my Challenge in hope someone my know what it is i have to change!
My Device:
Samsung Galaxy A505FN
I created a .txt file protocol of all i did, i gladly provide it if someone ants to see it.
I analyzed the Whole Firmware-archive and the Pit file of my Phone to eventually find the Problem.
Note:
The Firmware was the correct one as it worked just fine using Odin!!
Analyzing all this, i only noticed two things:
First:
There are 3 seemingly identical files in the Archive and two so called
fota.zip files witch are not Identical
(one in the AP-Packet and one in the CSC-Packet)
Those where:
– cache.img one in the AP-Packet and one in the BL-Packet
– vbmeta.img one in the AP-Packet and one in the BL-Packet
– product.img one in the AP-Packet and one in the BL-Packet
Second:
Once i used Odin to finally flash successfully i noticed that in the Flash-protocol of Odin it seams Odin flashes the vbmeta.img twice in the process!?
Heimdall would not allow me to do so giving me the “Duplicate Error message”
Furthermore i tried one more thing in my desperation to make it work:
i thort: “maybe the order in wish the files a flashed chronologically matters”
So i did exactly that, trying to flash in the same chronological sequence as Odin did.
Note:
Every time i flashed, Heimdall would successfully finish the process but the Phone would not start with android
no matter what i tried.
ALSO i did successfully flash TWRP to my Phone using Heimdall
SO Heimdall works just fine on my system!
I spend a Long Time searching the Internet for a workable Tutorial or glue’s as to what is missing and how i could make it work.
I really want to succeed doing this, as i want to provide my folks offer her in Germany and also English and Spanish speaking Linux-Community with a Tutorial to do this!
I did also drop this Question and Challenge i face in some other Forums no useful answer returned so far
The latest Governmental Abuses and infringement on Peoples Privacy using Corona as excuse, makes it abundantly clear how important this kind a work is!
As for now i think, the only true option for a Linux-User is to run Odin from a Virtual-Box Windows installation, given
you have a legal copy in you're possession and have higher then Windows XP
(else you must change the Filenames of the .tar archives as WIndows XP and lower did not support excessively long filenames.)
Also you have to Install you're Phone USB drivers and have them up and running properly!
Internet access to you're VB makes it all more comfortable, but you can also use Shared folders with the Host-System to do the job.
Note:
I did indeed tried the "WINE-plugin-environment" (Windows 10) under Linux. i could not get it to work.
It was to much messing around make it recognize the USB-connection to the Phone!
I could not get it to work, I don't know if you can?
I guess that would be a nice way for Linux-users if it could be made to work!
What do you guys think, can this be solved?
Pleas let me know if you know the answer to my Challenge!
You're help is not only needed but would be greatly appreciated
Sincerely yours
Hans from Germany
well I Found this from 2017;
Yes you can do fastboot and adb cmd in Linux but you have to install adb and fastboot drivers to Linux by using
1) sudo add-apt-repository ppahablet-team/tools && sudo apt-get update
2) sudo apt-get install android-tools-adb android-tools-fastboot
That's it you get your fastboot and adb cmd’s all the cmds are same just as windows just you need to add sudo in front if not in root

Well i do know
Of course i know how to Install a Software on Linux and i did indeed installed those Two
But both of them would not even Detect my device jet Heimdall and Odin had no problem doing that.
Anyhow i might go about and try those Two harder.
And no Iam not confused

USB File Transfer Does Not Work
After flashing the ROM, when I connect my phone to my PC with the USB cable to transfer files, it does not work. No errors on my PC. I tries switching between modes and back to File Transfer as some suggested, but no luck.
Has anyone experienced this and if so, any solution?

Got the same problem here. i guess i'm staying on the stock firmware
I have installed lineage-17.1-20210212-UNOFFICIAL-treble_arm64_bvS.
Fingerprint and MTP working.
This is an installation mode that I use - This method I took from the Moto g2 Titan telegram group: https://t.me/TitanRoms
I did it from a debian-based distribution

(2) open the terminal and go to where I download the files, and install them with the following commands.
sudo apt install debsig-verify kpartx
sudo dpkg -i click-ubuntu-policy_0.1_all.deb
sudo dpkg -i ubuntu-device-flash_0.34-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb
(3) Put your moto g2 in bootloader mode (power button + volume down) and connect it to the PC
(4)Put this command in the terminal and press enter, wait for the whole process to finish.
ubuntu-device-flash --verbose --server=https://system-image.ubports.com touch --device=titan --channel=16.04/community/walid/devel --bootstrap
If everything goes well, in a few minutes you will be using UBtouch on your moto g2 titan.

Hi, I'm new here and if i am honest joined just to ask questions here. I have tried what you said (many thanks as I wasn't sure what to do after finding the link for the rootfs tarball was dead), it is the same command Walidham stated for installing 16.04 but that didn't come with the commands for installing the flashing tools for this method and I probably wouldn't have noticed that command anyway in the original post as I was mostly paying attention to the original instructions for 15.10. Anyway, I tried this method and it all seemed to be going fine but every time when it gets to a certain point it says on the phone that there is insufficient space for pushing one of the files. I am actually using a Moto G2 4G LTE Thea, not Titan so it may not work but I thought I'd try it anyway and I don't know that this error is to do with that as it is to do with running out of internal storage, though I know sometimes error are diagnosed as totally different errors so that might be happening, I don't know.
Mine is 8GB but there is nothing smaller than that. I have changed the data partition format to ext4 by the way and I have tried running this with and without wiping system, data and cache partitions beforehand. The flashing process only gets anywhere when they are present and not wiped, otherwise it complains that it cannot boot recovery. I also noticed that the folder that seems to be referenced by the command has new files even from today (the 25th that is) and when I ran the command it was trying to flash version 779. When you did it it would have been an older version as the files relating to 779 seem to be brand new. I also assume these files are probably experimental. So I don't know if this is a non-working combination, or if I am doing something wrong, or if there is a way to change which version it is trying to flash, or if I can get a rootfs file that will work (I don't know anything about them or what exactly they do) and do it manually. I am also not a developer and am low on technical knowledge (as much as it hurts my ego to say it) if I am honest and I am using Linux mint 20.1 on the PC side of things, which of course is Ubuntu/Debian based so I imagine shouldn't be a problem here.
Thanks for the guide, thanks Walidham for the port, and if you know anything about my error or something else to try I'd appreciate it if you got back to me. Thanks!

About that insufficient space error you had, I think I also had a similar problem, but I'm not sure. It would be nice if you put images or prints of these errors, or give more details.
The insufficient space error that occurred to me actually wasn't in the cell phone as I thought, but in the Linux cache. I manually cleared the linux cache, and the error disappeared.

I wasn't sure at first whether it was meant to be left alone when it brought up the ubports recovery screen but eventuslly concluded it was. I'm busy this weekend but I will try and get some screenshots of my error when I can. I had settled back into using Android for the time being. I'll try what you said you did as well when I get the time. Thanks!
Update: It works!
I actually succeeded in installing the system on the 7th of this month, but I just said it now.
The system has several bugs. The bluetooth, the flashlight and the GPS doesn't work, for some reason the cell phone restarts when I connect to the wifi at home (which doesn't happen when I connect to my main cellphone's wifi in router mode), the notifications and settings bar seems to be cropped, and whenever I turn on the screen the option to turn off or restart the phone appears.
Anyway, I really liked the system, and I would like to contribute to it by solving or notifying the presence of these bugs in the software.
And thanks for the help.

This is an installation mode that I use - This method I took from the Moto g2 Titan telegram group: https://t.me/TitanRomsI did it from a debian-based distribution
(1) Download these two files:
click-ubuntu-policy_0.1_all.deb
drive.google.com
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LHqKyr_pOFiRz9IhXHiyQkru0y7rrTSl/view?usp=sharing
(2) open the terminal and go to where I download the files, and install them with the following commands.
sudo apt install debsig-verify kpartx
sudo dpkg -i click-ubuntu-policy_0.1_all.deb
sudo dpkg -i ubuntu-device-flash_0.34-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb
(3) Put your moto g2 in bootloader mode (power button + volume down) and connect it to the PC
(4)Put this command in the terminal and press enter, wait for the whole process to finish.
ubuntu-device-flash --verbose --server=https://system-image.ubports.com touch --device=titan --channel=16.04/community/walid/devel --bootstrap
If everything goes well, in a few minutes you will be using UBtouch on your moto g2 titan.
Many thanks Walid for this Port! and https://t.me/TitanRoms for sharing this installation method

Upon finally trying again, this is the error that I was getting. This occurs whilst the phone has booted to the ubports recovery menu but obviously files are still being pushed.
Do you mean you cleared the linux cache on the PC?

Hi, I did not succeed, no. Mine gets to the stage of displaying that screen but I'm not sure if yours gets further or not as far. Mine seems to make a big deal about copying this one file and ultimately always fails. Yours seems to say it boots to recovery and then stops, though I find it difficult to read what it says on your screenshot because it is low resolution.
Did you succeed in the end by any chance since you last posted?
is there a way to install Ubuntu touch manually? Like using twrp for example.
For anyone having problem installing this is How i did it.
First You Need to do the installation as ROOT.
I use Ubuntu.
Open a terminal and type
sudo su passwd root
Then Go ahead and set a password for root, after that type
su root
And put the password you Just created, Now you proceed with installing ubtouch by using SUDO, like this
sudo ubuntu-device-flash --verbose --server=https://system-image.ubports.com touch --device=titan --channel=16.04/community/walid/devel --bootstrap
Hopefully after this there Will be no problem. (PS: i dont speak english)

Ok. Good Luck! It seems like you were working on it until quite recently though by the repository. Thank you for all the time you have invested so far!

Thank you. I will try this out soon. I perhaps mistakenly assumed I would get away with just using sudo.
