Okay, so when you have a "Screen Timeout" set on the phone. First after some time, the screen will dim down about 7 seconds before the screen goes completely off. I found the file to edit to adjust or add options of the actual screen time out. But my question is, where can I edit the length of time for the "DIM" feature. I want to make it longer than 7 seconds.
I am on stock TW LK3...rooted and deodexed.

Is anyone else unable to open alerts from the lock screen normally, I have to swipe the screen after I have selected an alert from the pulldown menu, on me s3 and s4 all I had to do is select the notification to unlock the lock screen, on note three I open the notification and phone stays locked, when I swipe the app is open. Really iritating

Is there a way to remove the sidebar on the forums, the bar on the right with portal posts ? It takes up almost a third of my screen, and causes very weird formatting issues. For example many times the forum page is rendered underneath the side bar and text and everything is hidden underneath. I have no use for that bar and would rather get rid of it. I've searched in settings and don't see an option to disable it.

The XDA 2015 themes do not have an option to hide their side panels by default. However, you do have two options:
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and find the Style Chooser. Click on it, and then choose "XDA 2013 Beta - 1024". Boom - no more side panel.
If you really like the XDA 2015 themes but just don't want the side panel, you can use this userscript by @anazhd to do just that. No more side panel!

Thank you for the suggestions. Unfortunately I use IE11 so the scripts won't help. I'll try reverting back to older versions of the forum, but it's a shame as I really like the 2015 version. Can you please pass along the feedback? I think the side bar is simply awful, it takes up almost a 3rd of my screen and most of the time the forum gets rendered behind the side bar, making the forum kind of useless. Why force feed the portal posts down our throats?

Actually, so many hundreds of users have expressed the same feelings as you over in this thread that I'm sure almost every moderator and admin on XDA knows that most of us don't like the sidebar!

There is also a user style for stylez in Firefox that removes it.
Sorry for this question, but I just cannot figure it out. Every time I double tap the notification bar at the top, it does not screen off/sleep, instead it just tries to open the notification window on my S7 Edge. I've been extra careful not to slide my finger trying to get this working. So how do I get Nova Prime to perform screen off when double tapping the notification bar?

How to use 3rd party notification panel like power shade as the default notification panel?
I have a Samsung device running one UI 4, whenever I use power shade panel, it doesn't work properly i.e. if I pull down the panel I will see power shade panel and underneath it the system panel as well.
I have already toggled "on" the override system panel, but it didn't work.
Any suggestion?
