Hello, I have installed a custom ROM, a kernel, TWRP, Magisk and some modules. I want to remove all of them and revert the phone back to the latest stock rom provided for my region (Greece). Unfortunetely, I haven't found any guide and so I decided to make this post.
Is there anything I can study in order to do this? I really dont mind relocking my bootloader as I may go back to custom rom in the future. What tools I need? What files?
Additional Info:
Model: Mi 10T
Firmware: V12.5.5.0 RJDEUXM
Custom ROM: Nusantara Project v3.2
Kernel: IMMENSITY -X 0.4j (14.08.21)
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you so much for the answer. If I understand correctly through this tool, everything will be reverted back to Stock, without any other input from my part, right? I also have a pin on the phone so it may be encrypted. Should I decrypt it first?

It should wipe everything on your phone so backup internal storage. Also there are options - Clean all, Clean all and lock you'll see them on lower right corner in MiFlash.

Good day,
I tried to find this topic in the differents threats but I can not find it. The thing is that I have a htc m8 OP6B160 with original marshmallow version.
The cellphone is not rooted and with not custom recovery. I would like to try new roms with sense 8 but I do not know how to do it. It is possible to obtain a detailed guide in order to install a custom rom?
Thank you in advance for your help and sorry for my English.
Kind regards,

Although old, the following guide is mostly still relevant:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/general/vomerguides-m8-bootldr-unlock-s-off-t2800727
But the TWRP link is outdated, and you will want the latest version TWRP 3.0: https://dl.twrp.me/m8/
You only need to do Section 1 of the guide, up to the point where custom recovery TWRP is installed. You don't need to root to install custom ROMs (you will have root by default after the custom ROM is installed, for most ROMs). Once TWRP is installed:
- Put the desired custom ROM on SD card, or download to phone's internal storage.
- Boot into TWRP
- Highly recommended to go to "Backup" section of TWRP, and back up the stock ROM
- Go to "Wipe" in TWRP, and do the default wipe (Dalvik, cache, user data)
- Go to "Install", find the desired ROM, and select it
- Sit back and let the ROM install, reboot and drink beer - You've just installed a custom ROM
Also note, you should backup any personal data you want to keep, before starting any of this.

Hi,
I have searched for an answer but could not find anything as a solution.
My home button works on neither viper nor leedroid; it simply does not respond. Is there a known solution? I reflashing does not work either.
If you are on the N versions of either of those roms it depends on what Firmware you have installed. If you are on M Firmware you need to install the fix for Viper from the hub, unless they changed that on the newest version. As for Lee's rom during the aroma installer it will ask which Firmware you are on and it should work from there if you select the correct setting.

Thank you for the reply! I installed leedroid with the N based firmware. Can you tell me how to proceed without losing my apps and data?

You could use a tool like Titanium Backup and make sure it is on your SD card or move it over to a PC after the backup. You could also try a dirty flash depending on what ROM you are on right now.

OK I'm on leedroid beta 2 right now. So basically reflash with no wipe?

That should do the trick but it would still be wise to have some sort of backup somewhere.

Dirty flash did not work
At that point it sounds like you might need to do a full wipe. There should be some good instructions in that thread.
when it asks you for the firmware you are using during the installer, you need to choose the old one...else your fingerprint is broken.
You are obviously choosing the wrong option during installtion.
Hello Guys,
I need help regarding the issue that I'm facing. What happens is ROM get installed properly without any error but not boots up. It get stuck at boot animation screen. I tried lots of ROMs including DOT OS, C droid, AICP, TOXYC OS. Facing the same issue to all of the ROMs. I followed the below steps to install.
1. Download the ROM file
2. Download the GApps.
3. Booted into TWRP Recovery Mode.
4. Backup done (optional)
5. Wipe all the 4 partitions except Internal Storage.
6. Then install the ROM file and followed by GApps
7. Installation successful for both ROM & GApps.
8. Reboot.
I tried installing the ROM only but result was same.
I'm currently running on Oxygen OS Open Beta 10.
PLEASE HELP. THANKS IN ADVANCE.
Which TWRP do you use? Personally, I recommend this one by codeworkx: https://sourceforge.net/projects/ch....1-0-20180309-codeworkx-dumpling.img/download
Some roms require you to be decrypted; others don't. Most roms require the latest firmware (5.1.3) to be flashed before the rom, gapps, etc. Read the installation instructions carefully. Use the recommended firmware and gapps package linked to the rom. Before you start flashing roms, you should wipe your phone in fastboot mode: fastboot format userdata. This will wipe your phone clean; all your data will be gone. So, backup all your data to your PC before proceeding. After format, reboot directly to TWRP and move your firmware, rom, gapps, etc. to internal storage; follow the flash order and procedures exactly as outlined for the rom you want to try.
I tried installing latest TWRP (3.2.1-2) for my OnePlus 5T but no luck. Please suggest.

The link to a working TWRP is in the post above; it's not the latest or official TWRP, but it works. Also, please read through this thread if you haven't already: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5t/how-to/oneplus-5t-unlock-bootloader-flash-twrp-t3704592.
Did you try to format data (after wiping the partitions) ?

In twrp, when you go in the wipe tab, there is a "format data" button. It will wipe the data and internal storage partitions and remove encryption. But don't worry, depending of the ROM you flash it will encrypt again.

Idk if a custom rom exists with that feature but there is a xposed module which does that and works on any custom rom (aosp 8.1 based at least) : https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/xposed-android-p-ify-features-t3764556

I installed the Lineage OS, rooted, installed the xposed module, installed the android P fy module but still I'm not getting the exact look like android p notification panel. Can you suggest me ROM that works fine with Android P-fy module to get the exact Android p notification panel.
Please find the attachment. This is what I'm getting with Lineage OS.

Did you check the module settings ? You can tweak some stuff.
Or maybe it didn't works because of Lineage (but it should, idk why not), but you can try aosp extended, which is closer to aosp.

I tried AOSP Extended before a week ago. Everything was working fine except headphone Jack. Sound was not coming in my earphones. Sound from speaker grill was coming, even I tried with connecting to Bluetooth speaker, that's also working fine. The only issue I had with that headphone Jack.
Please suggest if you have any solution for that then I'll surely try it again.
Thanks

I tried to unlock the bootloader, flashed a TWRP, my goal was to root the device so I can use an adblock.
Never succeeded to do so, I got stucked at the TWRP part asking for a password to decrypt, while I didn't set one.
Now I'm selling my phone tomorrow, and just realised this is a pain, is there any way I can put it back to factory settings, so I can OTA again ?
Or if not, get rid of that password thing so I can flash something else ?
Thanks :-/

Have you tried manually wiping data during TWRP - you can do it by going to advanced wipe and then choose data, system, caches, vendor manually and then wipe.
***or to make sure encryption is gone... In advanced wipe got to change partition and choose DATA, and change it to EXT4 and then back to F2FS, and then wipe system, caches, vendor manually... Its best to use this option***
After that, make sure you are still in TWRP after wiping partitions and then go to install and flash Xiaomi EU with Magisk 20.3 and then reboot.
Yes, I tried that yesterday night as last resort and it did work fine, no more encryption.
Now is there a way to remove TWRP and put it back to factory default ?

That will leave TWRP but probably allow me to root isn't it ? I'd prefer to put it back to stock config if possible =)
Thanks for your kind answer.

I assume factory defaut as in the way the phone was when you first bought it? Yes, but only though Mi Flash if you plan to go back to stock. Just make sure if you use that - use clean all instead of relock and clean all unless you plan to sell it back. Just make sure you Mi Flash the latest stable Miui.

Thanks mate. As a matter of fact I do plan to sell it back, thus this question.
So I assume I can go ahead and use relock & clean all with latest Miui stable version, it will lock the BL again and remove TWRP ?
So OTA will work as usual again ? Will the tool download the firmware for me, or else where can I find it ? Thanks again, appreciated =)
Got it from here

Hello guys!
Recently the sensor (auto rotate screen, gyro, etc) of my phone stopped working after installed Dot OS 5.1.2 (android 11) , and i didn't liked at all, so i've wiped dalvic, system, cache, internal storage, etc - (default method that everyone does)
and i've installed Corvus OS 9.0 (android 10) again that was the current OS that i'm using right now.
i've downloaded the sensor check that i found in google play, and seems like it's not installed in my device or corrupted, and i don't know what to do.
Could anyone can solve this? use apps to rotate the screen is so boring
Barring a hardware problem, reverting to stock ROM with MiFlash should fix that; if it does, you can then start over with your prefered custom ROM.

Yeah, it was it! maybe because when i was flashing another rom, in the twrp there was a box to check "persist" and i've checked because i didn't know what was it, so, because of it when i flashed a new rom, the auto rotate isn't working because it wasn't installed. now i can rotate my screen without use secondary apps \o/ thanks a bunch!
