What does classic mean? Just make sure there's usb A on the computer side... Do you have USB debugging and OEM unlocking enabled in developer settings?
yes all active
You didn't install a fastboot driver..
I had the same problem i applied this:
[Guide] Fix Device Not Showing Up In Fastboot Mode (Windows 10/11)
You sir are saint...I've been trying to get fastboot to recognize my OP6T for the last 8 hours. Thank you so much!

This resolved the same issue for me as well. Odd though, because it was working fine for me a couple of months ago.
This is a windows problem, and as others stated downloading the fastboot driver does work, I had to manually install it as an optional update through Windows Update last time it happened, but I prefer to use Linux, as this is one of those "just works" scenarios on there (albeit MSM tool requires Windows, and unaware of a workaround)

Who's got a solution ?
ps : I've done many times upgrades and never had such a window !?
You're using windows vista and sometimes it "update" the usb driver for the BA connection and you can't upgrade it nomore.
Search the forums for "vista flashing" or something like that. You will find some old drivers that you'll need for the steps below.
1)Go to Windows Mobile Device Center > Mobile Device Settings > Connection Settings and uncheck Allow USB Connections
2) Go to device manager, select the window mobile device, right click, update driver, have disk and select the old driver.
Now it should work.
You're right...I use now a new PC with vista OS...
I'll try your advice.
arfff....It's not a vista problem because I've tried wiz an xp os and same alert !?
I've tried the fix cab and ever same problem...
lol simple....
Is your phone in bootloader mode?

I've upgraded my BA....but the problem of speaker is already here...

Hi everyone, my Galaxy Nexus in a benchmark test with Antutu just hung up and started to reboot, freezing the screen. I went into the bootloader, and the same thing happened there. Here's a list of what I did to try to fix:
Reset - did not work.
Flashing custom rom - freezes before installing
By Restore backup - freezes before restoring
Odin - unsuccessfully
So I tried to install something through the Galaxy Nexus Toolkit, but the computer identifies as Unknown Device, at least most of the time.
2 times was labeled bootloader interface, after many attempts, but the program does not correctly identified, appeared several?????.
It took the technician, he said it looked like some "cutting board on track," or something.
I need to take the assistance, but before that lock the bootloader and uninstall cwm but I do not see any way to do it. Does anyone have any idea?
That s what happens to him:

i connect the phone in download mode to pc , but the phone is not recognized
You got to use a cmd on PC, having fastboot/adb installed on it, to enter fastboot comands, as well as to activate developer options on the phone itself and check adb debugging and factory unlock option. But I guess you already know this. In addition there is no fastboot mode any longer. Thus you got to perform those commands when the phone is booted to download mode.

Why'd you do so. You just have to read a little bit of how to use the basics as fastboot. I know other OEM got flashtools, and there are some around for HTC as well. But it can never be wrong to know about all the basics of flashing and rooting a phone.
Go to settings > about. Find the build number entry. Tab it as ling as it states you are a developer now. Head back to settings > developer options. Check mark the USB debugging as well as the bootloader unlock entry.
Install adb/fastboot - minimal adb/fastboit found on XDA will do. Head over to htcdev.com and start unlocking by following the guide.

So I got this used HTC One m8 from my friend and there's a weird glitch that happened after I factory reset the phone. The app has the default icon, package name and won't respond when I try to open it. Here is a picture of it.

It's the Android app. Is it because there's no sim card in?
I'd love some help
Android version 6.0, not rooted.
Bump I asked here because no one can answer me.

try flashing thr RUU does not require root ot TWRP just require a pc and a usb connector get adb on your computer and type in adb fastboot reboot, wait for hone to reboot into bootloader and type fastboot gatvar all and post the result here. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2FyBGshXWIxeHdPRy1zWXdwM1E/view?usp=sharing use this link to download adb.zip. extract the zip file and go into the bundle folder, sdk, platform, platform-tool and press shift and right click at the same time and select open command prompt here and you got yourself adb and fastboot. (only works for Windows)
Hi dears
Really happy o be a part of this great community..
I am working in jeddah, KSA . I am not a developer. I have an issue with my redmi device. Can someone help to solve this please..
I tried to flash my Mi Note 5A (China MDT6S) 4GB 64 GB version in fast boot mode. The phone was not bootable fro 1 year, was stuck with mi logo (showed on bottom 'unlocked'). I searched internet and found firmware and tried to flash using that firmaware in fast boot mode using MiFlash tool.
File name : Xiaomi_Redmi_Note_5A_V11.0.3.0.NDFMIXM_20191022.0000.00_Global_7.1_XFT. It took 300+ seconds for many steps and then showed 'rebooting' status. I waited again, for some minutes. but then showed me timeout!!!!
Then when tried to start the device i shows penguin screen. I am trapped from there
Then i searched again over internet. Got some ideas to open the device and short the two points. I did it and connected usb cable at same time. Got my device in COM05 and tried to flash again in MiFlash tool. But cannot recieve helium packet. Also it tries to reset status and shows 'object reference not set to an instance of an object'.
I have tried different versions of flash tool.
A help from someone to solve this will be highly appreciated.
I have tried all below firmwares
