Hi everyone, my Galaxy Nexus in a benchmark test with Antutu just hung up and started to reboot, freezing the screen. I went into the bootloader, and the same thing happened there. Here's a list of what I did to try to fix:
Reset - did not work.
Flashing custom rom - freezes before installing
By Restore backup - freezes before restoring
Odin - unsuccessfully
So I tried to install something through the Galaxy Nexus Toolkit, but the computer identifies as Unknown Device, at least most of the time.
2 times was labeled bootloader interface, after many attempts, but the program does not correctly identified, appeared several?????.
It took the technician, he said it looked like some "cutting board on track," or something.
I need to take the assistance, but before that lock the bootloader and uninstall cwm but I do not see any way to do it. Does anyone have any idea?
That s what happens to him:

I'm tying to to through the process of getting download mode back on my phone, but I'm stuck right at the starting line by not being to see the phone at all. I've installed the LG driver package and put my phone in "fastboot started" mode, but all I see in device manage is this

I'm not 100% sure right now but I think you have to right click on it and update it.

go to a YouTube tutorial about fastboot. The driver you are missing you have to update it and look for it on your computer. I'm not sure how you get the driver but I think you get it when setting up sdk. Anyways look at some tutorials and you'll find out where that stupid driver is located
Hi everyone!
OK, I'm sick as a dog, so I know I shouldn't have been doing this today, but..
I was trying to update my HTC One M8 with Cyangenmod, (cm-13.0-20160314-NIGHTLY-m8). I had been having problems with TWRP reading my SD card, so I decided to go ahead and wipe my phone and try reinstalling using fastboot. I used TWRP for the wipe, but I used the advanced option, and it seems that I wiped everything, including the OS from my phone. Now, all I get when I boot is this screen:

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I have tried holding the power and volume down buttons but I can't get back to the recovery. Both adb and fastboot do not seem to be able to see my phone:
Does anyone have any suggestions one how I can fix this?
Thanks
zog

Only this screen. My phone won't even power down.
OK, I was just able to get into the bootloader and I can also get into TWRP. I have a micro USB chip that I can put into the phone. Should I copy the files onto the chip and use TWRP to flash? There is also an option for "adb sideload" in TWRP.
Whew!
OK, using sideload, I was able to flash Cyanogenmod back onto my phone!
Every thing should be fine now! (fingers crossed!)
You also can copy files with mounting from twrp.

I have my cousin's phone right here - just yesterday he tried to update to Lollipop. He was on stock TouchWiz, no root or anything of the sort and installed the update.
Now, if I try to turn on the phone, all I get is this screen and it just stays there forever:

}
If I try to boot into the bootloader, all I get is this: https://goo.gl/photos/WBSAcHhALQ9Jmz2n9
I really don't know what I would do here - can you do anything once your bootloader is f*ed up?
If it helps, the phone's model is SM-N7505
Yes, the same issue happened with me today on Note3 Neo. I rebooted the phone and it stuck on the same place. Checked in local phone repairing shop unable to make hard reset. They are suspecting of hardware issue. What could be the coz of this?

How would I do that without being able to access the bootloader? I haven't done much with Samsung devices yet, only with my HTC phones. I've heard of the name ODIN though... Are there any tutorials you can recommend?
You don't need bootloader to flash stock rom via Odin, you only need to access Download mode (vol. down+home+lock). You can look up tutorials on YT. Just type "How to flash stock Samsung rom using Odin". Hope that helps somehow
Hi all,
I was using Cyanogenmod mode and phone just stopped working, it was constantly restarting it self and now I can access only fastboot and recovery menu but even if I try to wipe phone via nexus tool kit or manually from CMD, I can not wipe anything it is written done, but after that when I check nothing wiped from memory and cyanogenmod mode is still there and restarting it self.
When I try to flash different rom I have issue like below,
{

You can't fix this issue only by replacing the motherboard. You have a faulty internal memory, and the phone won't read or write anything unless you change that

What does classic mean? Just make sure there's usb A on the computer side... Do you have USB debugging and OEM unlocking enabled in developer settings?
yes all active
You didn't install a fastboot driver..
I had the same problem i applied this:
[Guide] Fix Device Not Showing Up In Fastboot Mode (Windows 10/11)
You sir are saint...I've been trying to get fastboot to recognize my OP6T for the last 8 hours. Thank you so much!

This resolved the same issue for me as well. Odd though, because it was working fine for me a couple of months ago.
This is a windows problem, and as others stated downloading the fastboot driver does work, I had to manually install it as an optional update through Windows Update last time it happened, but I prefer to use Linux, as this is one of those "just works" scenarios on there (albeit MSM tool requires Windows, and unaware of a workaround)
