Having recently purchased FYT type / 7862 - my experience here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/teyes-cc3.4189041/post-85649157
Consider a Mekede/Navifly (FYT = 1 or FYT = 116)
I just brought two, having come from MTCD (JY and HA).
The Mekede/NAVIFLY (YIN) blows the MTCD PX5 I had out of the water
- Audio / True multiband EQ and DSP
- Screen quality/size
- Firmware quality
- Resume from power on consistency
- No MCU anomalies (such as loss of backing camera, or sudden loss of steering wheel controls)
- Factory Options built in that MTCD requires mods for (Adaptive volume, Backing lines configuration, and more)
- Bluetooth audio quality including calls
- OBD OBDLink LX paired instantly without fuss
- Ease of modifying / rooting / updating / recovering
- Competitive pricing
Above anything else, the audio quality is significantly better to my ears.
Note, I am NOT recommending the FYT reseller Teyes to those outside of Russia.
My opinion is a strong avoid (reseller) Teyes. Do not buy.
Update 3/10
Some additional experience;
Less buggy, fantastic audio, 4G built in, 5Ghz wifi, working BT, significantly snappier and doesn't require all of these mods and hacks (e.g. OBD) to just make things work.
Bonus is that If you want to mod/apply simple system changes, that can be done without root.
System / kernel updates without major refresh, no problem.

Hi,
I have been following some of your posts as I am very interested in buying a Joying unit using the UIS7862. I would like to use adaptive volume, is this functionality provided in the factory settings of every UIS7862 MCU or is it manufacturer specific? I am specifically asking for JY / Joying
Interesting. Both the Mekede and Navifly official stores have below average ratings while T'Eyes has above average. I've seen what you've said elsewhere about bugs and software lock in but I'd like to understand how this plays out in practice e.g. do either support loading of apps like vanced, how easy is it to mod the look of the interface (everything seems to be very purple these days and my wife hates purple ), is either platform hackable to support private cloud?

Hi Guys, I need help with a complex date equation.
I'm trying to add "P6/W1" to a watchface, where P6 is the Period (There are 13 in a year) & W1 is the week in the period (there are four). The first day of the week is Sunday BTW
Period 1, week 1 started Sun 13th March 2016 and today (2nd Aug 16) is Period 6, week 1. There is a list of all the period start dates below.
If anyone can tell me what to type into the text field to end up with "P6/W1" I'd be really grateful.
Thanks.

Wierd, when I saw J4+ (Snapdragon 425 / msm8917) getting LineageOS 16 got on the news, I thought that ROM for Samsung Snap 425 (this phone included) would explode like crazy.
So, there are 2 options I guess?
Get to work yourself. Guides are plenty on the Internet. Reference tree is already available at J4+ tree/j4primelte
Ask a dev (definitely not me, I'm a broke noob ) to make ROM, with the reference of J4+ tree
Good luck o,o/

Hello,
I have been trying to find information about the 10.2 Dasaita from their official store.
I need to know which iso harness and can bus unit I would need to fit my 2011 T5.1 they asked me for pictures of the back of the radio but don't fill me with confidence as the don't seem to know what a vw transporter is. I have an android unit fitted at the moment but like you its failing, the unit that's fitted is an Audio sources head unit and works with the steering wheel button's, could it be I don't need anything harness wise as what I have will work with the 10.2 Dasaita?
I have pictures of the harness
that's fitted now!
Regards
Patrick

Vw, audi, seat, skoda use the same harness for almost all yhe models...i dont think that not knowing which transporter could be a problem.
Supply them the required photos and look for schematics into internet for a more detailed answer
