Hi,
I am facing issues with Snapchat, its continuously buffering, lagging and eventually crashing. My network speed is excellent (5G&Fiber), all other apps working fine.
It was working fine for a few days then all the sudden above happens. Tried clearing and re-installing.
Attached screenshot from logcat showing the errors when lagging occurs (looks like rendering issue?).
Update: running Snapshot from secure folder solves the problem!
Ok checking Reddit it seems others are having a similar issue.
Apparently, running Snapshot from secure folder solves the problem! How strange...
My Snapchat issues just got resolved today after this update!
Thanks, waiting for the update to arrive in my region...

Has any one been having this problem? I noticed that it seems to be so random. As of right now I'm trying to open up Google Music, but it opened my Settings intead. I’ve retried it over and over same results. Or last week I tried opening Pandora, but it constantly opened up the Market.
I temporarily resolve this problem by rebooting the device, but this is very strange. Again has anyone been having this problem? Fixes?
I have the AT&T G4 and I'm using the latest firmware and the latest update for YouTube. I've noticed this for the past few versions of YouTube and I haven't been able to fix it. I can watch videos for roughly 20-30 minutes and then the video starts freezing and acting like it's loading but it's already loaded most of the video (100+mbps wifi) and it doesn't stop, I can close the app and reopen it and it continues. I have to set it aside for a while before it stops doing it. I don't think that its a ram problem and I'm thinking that its a overheating issue, I'm wondering if anyone else is having this problem and are there any fixes or workarounds?
Hi
after I upgraded to Marshmallow, my phone always freeze for 10 secs after watching a video file using Whatsapp.
here are the facts:
1- the video starts normally and fast without problems, the phone only freeze once the video ends.
2- if I run the video through a media player it will run smoothly and it will end normally without freezing (only freeze if I run it thought Whatsapp)
I tried the following:
reinstall Whatsapp.
reinstall the Media player (Quickpic)
clearing cache and then rebooting.
please help.
Thanks
I think it's an optimization problem, i have the same issue with Whatsapp. They need to update it!

I have this issue for over a month now, are you saying that everyone who own LG G4 and upgraded to Marshmallow are experiencing this problem?

I think yes. Maybe not all, but the most are experiencing same problem. For me it happens on chat that have a lot of message, I have deleted lots of media but message remains and it's buggy.
It's happening on my brand new HTC 10 as well, build 1.3 marshmallow
I think it's just optimization problem. I have rated bad WhatsApp maybe they moves their as**es and start to make serious updates instead of non-useful features.
Sent from my LG-H815 using XDA-Developers mobile app
So every time I use apps such as YouTube or twitch, they will pause at random. I've got the US version of the phone and I am running cuocos latest 11S Rom but I've also tried cm12.1 v4 by betahydri and the same problem occurs. I am 100% sure it's not my internet connection. Its very strange because I believe I didn't have this issue when I first got the phone. I have also noticed that when I am taking a video the phone will sometimes stop recording by its self. It seems like the phone hangs and resets the apps I am using(?) Anyone can help? Very disappointed :/
Hi all,
A colleage is having issues with the Wileyfox Swift on LineageOS Nightlies (currently running lineage-14.1-20170306-nightly-crackling). When recording video using either back- or front-camera, the camera freezes after 30-32 seconds and continues to record a frozen video. Even worse, the camera can no longer be initialised until the phone is rebooted.
- I have tried with the stock LineageOS camera, Google Camera, OpenCamera apps. Same problems.
- I have tried to reduce the resolution up until 480px but that's not the problem apparently.
- I have tried this with both the back and the front-camera
- I've cleaned Dalvik/Cache aswell.
- I've also turned off flashlight entirely.
This does not seem to be a known issue, I don't find any article anywhere. Can someone else please try if they can reproduce it on their Wileyfox Swift running LineageOS? Taking pictures seems to be fine. The user reported to me that it had initially worked using lineage-14.1-20170217-nightly-crackling. I did not dare to downgrade to try this myself though.
Any advice would be appreciated. If someone can reproduce this, please be so kind and mention this is the dev thread.
I just tried. Exactly the same here.
Same issue here.
Thought this would resolve it, but no : https://review.lineageos.org/#/c/165102
Jup. Same issue here.
Same issue for me with lineage-14.1-20170328-nightly-crackling-signed installed.
