Phone turns itself off after a while after being charged. - Redmi Note 8 Questions & Answers

Hi everyone, my phone turns itself off after a while after being charged.
Phone: Redmi Note 8 (ginkgo)
Rom : DotOs
Firmware : China weekly beta firmware

Is it overheating while charging?
What's the ambient room temperature?
It likely will auto shutdown around 108°F.
See if putting a fan on it helps.

After installing dotOs this problem appeared. Also, after unplugging, the charging light stays on.

A custom rom? Firmware.
Is it worth the trouble? It's messing with your hardware... edit the problem in the firmware or ditch it.
Hopefully someone here has seen this and has a solution. Try a Google searches (use XDA in searches to see results on XDA) as well. I have no clue how to find that or edit it. Maybe it's not that hard if it's just the temperature parameters and light issue.

I've heard that before
Reflash it to what was working.
That's more than a little glitch.

if it's not the overheat , change the rom to make sure , and use "stable" FW
(clean flash)

Huaxing screen, unable to install custom roms

I recently bought a redmi note 5, waited 360 hours to unlock the bootloader, only to find out that, due to the presence of this "huaxing" screen panel, i am not able to install any aosp custom rom, because the screen goes completely black when booting up. Are devs working on this to fix it or is it better to sell the phone and buy another smartphone? I bought the redmi note 5 only to be able to install aosp roms and now that i can't, i have no reason to keep the phone unless this huaxing screen problem is fixed soon

I have the same thing. In addition, I noticed problems with installing applications from outside the play store. an error pops up (there was a problem while analyzing the package) (wystąpił problem podczas analizowania pakietu)
me too
i also facing many problems like all sensor was gone as check on cpu-z,superuser toast messages sometimes not appear.so i had to reflash with clean flash again to fix the problem but the problem comeback again at any moment.my solutions is using miui by greeshan and magisk 20.0 not 20.1 and never again faced the problems.i think the problem is with magisk and miui.eu rom.

brightness ? bug after unlocking not experienced on global ROM. but there's 2 bugs I encountered, 1.) the screen application(especially when installing an app) stays on the screen and can also be fixed by restarting the phone. 2.) unable to search inside the settings.
I confirm you can't search anything from the phone settings item.
you mean this?
Size is 86.4 MB. in my case.
I can do a search in the phone settings. I've not problem with this.

Is every update like randomly dispatched?? Because I have global version and my girlfriend has EU version . Sometimes I get updates before her and other times , like this one, she gets them first and I wait for days....
Plus the EU version had earphones in package when bought...

what happens if you go back to your original firmware?
Or you could see if there is a display test in the engineering menu.

I think this is screen burn also. It may be more visible now because the icons are in slightly different places vs before? This looks exactly like screen burn on my 7TP5G and is the only thing that makes sense across all versions but it'd be interesting to find out it's something else
