brightness ? bug after unlocking not experienced on global ROM. but there's 2 bugs I encountered, 1.) the screen application(especially when installing an app) stays on the screen and can also be fixed by restarting the phone. 2.) unable to search inside the settings.
I confirm you can't search anything from the phone settings item.
you mean this?
Size is 86.4 MB. in my case.
I can do a search in the phone settings. I've not problem with this.

Is every update like randomly dispatched?? Because I have global version and my girlfriend has EU version . Sometimes I get updates before her and other times , like this one, she gets them first and I wait for days....
Plus the EU version had earphones in package when bought...

Yes they're slightly different to each other so updates come out at different times

UI is the same, haven't been able to test battery usage yet. "Sprint Features Apps" installed automatically when the phone booted. Just seems like a security update like OJ6.

It updates the security patch to october. And that's pretty good. I guess Samsung is not going to improve this firmware any further. Camera won't get any better because the sensor is too small for 24mp, although it's not bad considering the price, and fingerprintsensor also has improved a lot. It just needs to be set up right, and many users don't seem to succeed.
My only reason now to prefer an s series phone over a50 is the camera.

Hi, check out my other thread about GPS issues. I had them with previous version than this and the previous still. I don't think it is related to firmware at this point - until they finally realize it and fix it, of course

Finally the December Security Patch is here.
First on EU version this time or both EU and GLOBAL?
Now to wait until 31st December or mid January for next update, hope this time we get Android 10.
- white noise on low media volumes is still not fixed
- fingerprint sensor seems more accurate with night light/screen protector
- wifi dropping issues have been fixed
i hope we'll get android 10 update till 31st December.

Does anyone with TWRP installed have any problem installing this December update? I have TWRP and when I try to update it always says installation problem.
Is there anything I should be doing?

I don't think you can install stock update by twrp.
I think only with stock recovery can do.

It's normal, you can't update with a TWRP installed, the solution Is simple, reinstall the stock ROM (from fastboot) and you're good to go.
Patch arrived in France too.
Greece too. No noticeable difference to Nov update.

You could just flash the stock boot.img in twrp for your specific firmware version and thats it, update no problem
Am I the only one who's not able to hear audio calls/use microphone in call after the update?
Edit: nope, it's my cellular network provider that sucks. No worries.

Bummer mate
On F.18 since last night. Battery life seems greatly improved over F.17. Does anyone else notice this?
A small bug seems to have been introduced. The fingerprint unlock fails first time, works second time. Or is it only me?
I feel the battery is better so far, but need a few days more usage...

Both battery and fingerprint you said, are true in my opinion.
Installing F.18 now, I've got it from oxygen updater. ( LE2123)
I'll report back in the same way
Do you have the fingerprint bug everytime? It seems to work fine for me.
Installed F.18 yesterday, all appeared fine. Then I left the house WiFi for the first time day, and lost internet access. Had to go into Mobile Networks and let it automatically re-select the same APN I had been using. Internet working again.

Wait for real? I have go up and down the developer options and cannot find a setting for it. Also Oxygen Updater is still only showing me F.17 for full zips.
That's because Oxygen updater app doesn't do incremental updates, just full zips.

You just have to enable developer options. Then the local update option will be available like this. You will get the F.18 incremental update through oxygen updater after you update to F.17 version.

Yeah that 3 dot menu doesn't show up for me with DO enabled. Also you're a different variant and firmware than 2125 so that could be why.
Build number: CPH2449_11_A.10
Kernel version: 5.15.74-android13-8-00007-gb328aadc6d46-ab9979065
Check the attached screenshots for the changelog:
Thanks for the infos.
I wonder how many updates to "improve wifi connections" this device will need though. I didnt noticed it at first but wifi is indeed flimsy on this device.

TBO I've never had issues with WiFi connectivity on any of my previous Android phones. To say it's a bummer is an understatement. With A09 I couldn't watch videos online for more than 15 minutes as the device dropped WiFi for up to a minute. I've not tested A10 enough to claim that the issue is resolved.
Rooting with kernel su still working?
i found some point after i update, my phone alway show no sim card. and i checked show unknow version on baseband !!
I found that there is a bug after A09 to A10.
For example, when I tap something in the telegram, the tapped item should be greyed shortly. But I cannot see this....

You most likely have a Chinese phone which was flashed to OxygenOS. You need to (re)install it properly or revert to ColorOS.
