Hi guys,
I'm pretty new to this whole unlocking, rooting and flashing business but I want to install Cerberus onto my N7 so that even if someone tries to do a system reset it's still there and I can track it. Having a read through their help section isn't really helping me at all so can someone help guide me through this process?
I've already rooted my N7 with the tool kit and it's running 4.1.1
You go to the market and hit install?
c'est bien ça.
bon courage !

Put the apk in /system/app/
This will cause it to be installed even if the device is wiped. Once it's wiped, it doesn't even need your account configured, it will compare your phones unique # with the database on their service and make the connection so you can track it online.

Also make sure your permissions are set to 644 (read/execute, read, read) once you put the apk in /system/app.

Has this actually been tested??
I am trying to reflash the zv5 update. I want to start fresh one last time on this device.
I have downloaded LG UP (from Autoprime thread), the 8994 dll msi, and proper drivers.
LG UP says my device is Unknown even tho it lists LS992 next to the port info on the initial screen.
I cannot get beyond this screen. I cannot select an Unknown device. After reading around a bit, I learned some registry edits were needed. However it isn't 100% clear what needs to be done.
When I go into the registry, I see there is no folder for LS992 under HKEY_Current_User\Software\LG Electronics\LGUP\Model\
Is it as simple as adding one for the LS992 and directing the DLL_PATH to the 8994 folder similar to the other models?
Thanks.
I think u have to download a DLL for the LS992, do u connect the phone in download mode?

I wanted to add my device ( Moto g5 ) to "My Stuff" in motorola official website, but on entering the IMEI/ Serial Number, it says unable to retrieve information.
Can anyone suggest a way to solve this issue?

Hi all,
My Moto G5 phone is not starting in flash boot mode at-least. But Im able to see logs like "USB connected" and disconnected
I tried to do steps in motostockrom.com/motorola-moto-g5-plus-xt1686(please add https in front). I'm able to see logs both in device as commands running and could see in command prompt(windows 10) lot of errors like image not match etc...
Then I tried androidmtk.com/use-rsd-lite-tool(please add https in front) but its not filling device list as screen shot
I tried to see barcodes. IMEI and SKU are 0
Any help on these?
Thanks& Regards
Binesh
