Does anyone have WiFi calling working?

I've tried the advice on this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-mi-10-ultra/help/wifi-calling-t4157029/page2 and have managed to enable the settings for wireless calling, but when I have no mobile signal and am connected to WiFi the phone won't allow me to make calls, it says something like "unable to make call, please connect to a WiFi network"
Even though I'm connected to WiFi...
Has anyone else had any luck with this? I'm using a xiaomi Mi 10t, but I imagine it'd be the same for xiaomi Mi 10t pro.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

VoLTE and VoWiFi are working fine for me.
I bougt the phone from the same carried that I am using.

Thanks for the reply, yeah that's what I've found while I've been researching, it has to be carrier enabled for the phone. We can turn on the settings from the phone but if they haven't enabled it (usually in their branded firmware) it won't work...

I activated VoLTE and VoWiFi on my gf's Poco with the codes and the options show up but only VoLTE works.
I verified that it works, it stays on 4G while in call. When calling while on WIFI only it shows an VoLTE HD icon but VoWiFi is not working.
Don't feel to root her phone and try the other things.

Thanks for this. I just spoke to my phone carrier yesterday and they told me that WiFi calling isn't supported from their end... So it looks like I'll be changing carrier, I need this to work

VOLTE: how to activate?

Hello all
i have a moto z2 play xt1710-08 with android 8.
My Italian operator enabled the VOLTE calls but my Motorola when I call, it switches from 4G to 3G. In the settings I have no entry to enable VOLTE.
So I entered into the secret menu. Here I have both the VOLTE and CALLS WITH WIFI but they are not enabled and I cannot enable them as you see in the screenshot.
How can I enable the VOLTE?

I had a similar problem. I would call your Italian operator back, and once again, ask them to enable VoLTE on your line/account/number. Then, power cycle your phone.
I had the same problem with my USA operator. I called, and got thru to their Tech Support. The Tech Support person started to give me a lecture that VoLTE has been enabled on all accounts, and he stopped his lecture when he saw it wasn't actually enabled for me. He enables it. I power cycled my phone, the Provisioning VoLTE is now shown un-gray'ed, and I flip the slide switch on.

VoLTE & VoWifi on Telstra in Australia

My colleague has a Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro - is there a similar set of instructions available to enable VoWifi and VoLTE on that phone in Australia?

In NZ I had success using these Phone codes that turned on VoLTE for me (no VoWIFI for my network). These seem to be standard codes for Xiaomi worldwide that enable support if the underlying software recognises your network's version.
To turn on VoLTE: open your phone app and dial *#*#86583#*#* and you'll see a quick toast message saying it's turned on. Type the code again to turn it off.
To turn on VoWifi: open your phone app and dial *#*#869434#*#*
To check settings *#*#INFO#*#*
Also look under the SIM card settings. If you've enabled either properly there should be a menu item saying "Use VoLTE" and similar.
Once enabled for me it took a few minutes for VoLTE to register. I rebooted, but don't think that was necessary. Now I make VoLTE calls (4G stays in place during the call) and I have a VoLTE icon in the status bar.

Question Concerns

Just got my new Black OnePlus 9 Pro, LE2123 (EU). 650 euro, full box, from a person.
1. 9 pro does not have gesture option "rise phone to ear to answer a call" ?
2. my 9 pro does not have at all 5g in "Prefered network type". that's weird for a 5g phone. I have new 5g SIM. Network name is RDS-RCS (Digi) 5g works on n78 band 3700mhz.
It's the same problem i got with OnePlus 8 pro. they say 9 pro have new 5g cip , more 5g bands, bla, bla...
3. i'm Locked, no root. Is there an app to turn off-reboot-reboot to recovery-reboot to fastboot, without root? I used Easy reboot, works fine, but needs root. To root the phone only for that...

I can't answer the first 2 questions though I do not see any option for raise phone to ear to answer call in my settings on 11.2.6.6BA.
As for 3, if you go into developer options, there is a toggle for advanced reboot, when you enable this, you can click the hamburger menu (3 dots) in the power menu to choose your reboot option.

Hey there bud, did you try dialing *#*#4636#*#*? Then hit phone information then there is a drop down and just hit it and select anything with NR. Give it a try and good luck.

The raise to answer is not available in the Google dialer app.

oscarmaldonado​I select NR in there. But in "Prefered network type" there is no 5g !
today got the update to 11.2.7.7. Still the same.

Haunt3r,​That still use Power button. I DON'T want that!. And i set this from OnePlus 3 to 9 pro

Unfortunately the trick does not work..., when i want to make a call from contacts. is shut's down FC. Both, Phone or Contacts app's.
I/m back to google apps, bleah!
If they remove double tap to screen ON & OFF too, it's the end for me & Oneplus! Oxygen os becomes BS.

How to disable VoLTE functionality in redmagic 8 pro? I can't disable VoLTE function.
