Does anyone know if moto g40 fusion supports verified boot 2.0 (AVB)
I would like to get my hands on calyx os but it seems they require to lock the bootloader after flashing the ROM which would need Verified Boot 2.0 to work properly and it seems mainly just the pixel devices support this.
So if anyone has any info on it or how to get that info please post about it.
check this out
and please keep me updated in the thread if you happen to try out any of it.

just wondering if anyone has either tried, or if there's a reason they haven't - to port MultiROM to the Galaxy Nexus?
We have TWRP, we have an unlockable bootloader, custom kernels(which we could easily port the kexec patch to), and MultiROM looks fairly easy to port.(reasonably so, anyway)
So I'm just wondering - before trying myself - whether there have been previous attempts, and whether or not it's possible(if not, why?)
Thanks!
Anything new about it ? I'm interested too

I'm sorry that i didn't make it clear enough, and yes it's ready to be flashed on HTC One E9plus. Just download the ROM and Gapps from the link above(developer site) and flash them from twrp(make sure to do the necessary reset) and you're done.
Ok, thanks. Will try when I get home. Hope at least battery life is better, because it's terrible in LP.
Edit: everything installs successfuly, but I'm getting bootloop.
Another edit: Managed to bypass error 7 in TWRP but my phone still bootloops. Tried to RUU it then install fresh cm, but still no go. I wonder how anyone else managed to run theirs.
Actually, did anyone flashed this and confirmed it is working? Normally there would be a swarm of posts and screenshots of people saying what's working and what's not. But here - with a working CM port of MM for our device the result is a dead silence. It's like no one ever tried to install it.
By the lack of responses i get that it's like when the op created the thread with the screenshot of the dev that is now removed - the dev said: you just need to port it. As no one reported by now that the rom is booting and working i get it that it is not ported or no one is willing to share. I tried it, got error 7 in twrp, managed to avoid it, rom installs, gapps installs and yet i get bootloop. Yes i know - i cleaned everything and did a factory reset. Also did a GPS lock prior to install all this in order to get GPS working in AOSP rom as it used to be in the past. None of this worked. Then i did a RUU. Returned to complete stock. Tried with and without root. Nothing. Everything installs but it ends up in bootloop. Never had such issues on any other phone. I'm not a dev or a coder or anything, but i'm very familiar with all this tinkering with roms, mods, xposed and any other stuff. By my minimal knowledge the rom is not ported for our device. I might be wrong - i'm a simple user, but unless a couple of people show screenshots of this rom up and running i'm giving up of using my only phone as a guinea pig. End of rant. My apologies if my words are a bit harsh. Have a great day people.
I can try to port for our device... I've found a guide!!!

Has anyone tried PAOSP Custom Rom Android 10 for z2 force? I have seen this zip file on mirror lollinet in Nash custom rom section.
https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/nash/custom/posp/
it seems to be flashable zip modified at 2019-Sept-09. I had a little chit chat with the founder of this project today. He replied by saying he had no idea who made this unofficial build for nash and said that we don't back unofficial builds except the phones we have officially released on their website.
I wanted to gave it a shot but that modem issue which has been all going for past couple of months NO baseband imei no turning back etc Stopped :crying: me from flashing it.
If anyone has tried please do share your experience. anyway I have a [XT1789-03] {Sprint} variant
I am downloading it. I will see what failures it has. I also use the sprint version

Both of the builds in the folder were made by @erfanoabdi well known guru of rom's. They work, I actually tested both builds for him after he made them. He's over on telegram if you want to join his group and get all the most current up to date methods, or message him here.
If you want to check out the android 10 official gsi image on the phone, you can download it directly from google developer and see what android 10 has to offer as well, I have it on my phone. Although over on his telegram group you'll get all the info if you want to check out his build of it, a minor variation of the actual official Android 10 GSI. No real issues to report, on Android 10 other than missing hardware keys at the bottom which can be enabled via a build.prop edit.
Again, I would suggest you join his telegram group if you want all the info or if you know what you're doing check out the Android 10 official gsi direct from Google. I am always one to try everything and if it breaks, so be it. I'll fix it, but there was literally zero issues with flashing it as an img file in twrp.

I was looking at the Google developer page for the Android 10 GSI's. I ran the code "adb shell getprop ro.treble.enabled" and it came back as false. The web page says not to continue since the phone isn't compatible. I was under the impression that the Z2 Force is A/B compatible.
So, how did you go about installing it on your phone?
Thanks for any info and assistance.
I have made some Boot Animations for Motorola phones and would like to share them with the community.
They also come with their own set of Boot Logos, so you don't need to flash any Boot Logo separately in case you are using the Boot Logos I made.
Features :
Full screen animations
Boot Logo + Boot Animation Pack
N/A hidden in Boot Logo
Redesigned bootloader menu
Some other minor changes in boot logo images
These Boot Animations can also be flashed to other Motorola Devices with 1080X1920 screen resolution like:
Moto G4
Moto G4 Plus
Moto G5
Moto G5 Plus
Moto G5s
Moto G5s Plus
Moto X4
Moto Z2 Play
Other Motorola phone users may use the version of the boot animation with motorola written on the image instead of moto g5 plus.
Use VX.0_BA+BL_9-3_by_4 Zip for Moto G5 Plus.
Use VX.1_BA+BL_9-3_by_4 Zip for other Motorola devices.
The file names with DT at the end stand for Boot Logos suited for Dark Theme.
All Boot Animations have been posted on SOURCEFORGE and more would be added in the coming future. The designs have been separated into two folders and further organized inside each folder by version numbers starting with V1. All the zips are functionally the same and you can flash whichever version you like. The only difference is in the text shown on the Boot Logo image. Head down for viewing previews and downloading the boot logos.
Specifications
This pack will only work for custom ROMs
This pack will not work on Stock Motorola ROMs
All the packs contain both Boot Animation and Boot Logo that goes along with the animation
If your ROM has Display Theme based Boot Animation, the corresponding Boot Animation will be automatically played
Flashing another ROM or updating your ROM may remove this Boot Animation. Flash the pack again to get your desired Boot Animation
Existing Boot Animation in your current ROM will be backed up before installing new Boot Animation
If you wish to restore your Boot Animation that came with your current ROM, you can flash Restore Previous Boot Animation.zip given in Boot Animation folder
How to Install (via Custom Recovery)
Download the desired ZIP file to your phone
Boot to your Custom Recovery
Go to Install
Go to the location where you have saved the ZIP file
Install the ZIP file and reboot
Boot Animation Previews
Boot Animation Downloads
If you are unable to download from SOURCEFORGE on your phone, request desktop site from your browser menu to enable download.
Disclaimer: Motorola Logo and Batwing Logo is owned by Motorola Inc. Some of the artworks are not entirely my own creation.
Don't forget to watch the previews on Imgur before downloading your desired Boot Animations

Actually I didn't know. The project was for Potter originally. Since it's for Full HD display, I made post for all Full HD moto phones. The files can be extracted and applied on Android Pie and below too. Just that the installer I made won't work. I had to pretty much make the installer from scratch and I'm not familiar with edify scripts. Android 10 has system as root so the location was different from all older Androids.
Let's see... I'll update if I can and post here.
Thanks for bringing to notice. I thought everyone was on 10 by now.

Well technically we Have Q, it's just not very good (Gsi Roms), still usable, but nothing in comparison (especially with bugs) to lineage or something, also, System as root development is actually main focus for Montana right now, thought I might mention that

The mounting of system partition is different for Android 10 and all the versions before it. The code was already convoluted to address the different locations of boot animation by different ROMs. I'll try. I guess some other Moto phones are also on Pie.

No problem
Hello,.
Apologies in advance, to those who may or may not have to better place this query.
Its been awhile since I ve been through the forums, and haven't done any noob-copy-dev device turning, for 7 or so years
However I do seem to remember having flashed the very first device --HTC-- that android powered commercially. (kudos JesusFreak)
It got me curious as to the ability of one android device, in this case a Stock - US RETAIL Moto Power G (2021) - being able to connect to my MetroPCS Stock Moto Power g7 and work as the interface for accomplishing root?
I hear somewhere that the device being connected has to have root and so IDK..
Just a toss in the dark..
Appreciate those with patience and knowledge for share.
Thanks Core
