I really need to unlock my bootloader.
Flashed my phone recently, in the process deleted my IMEI number and bootloader got locked again now I can't use my SIM.
Any advice?

Hi, I did some research before unlocking the bootloader on my new Galaxy Nexus and I was aware it would wipe the device, but it never said that I would lose my SIM unlock.
Well, it did happen: I succeeded in unlocking the BL and now it asks me for a SIM unlock code, which I don't have.
Please, help me find a solution!!!

Basically i'm getting round to rooting and unlocking my phone but i'm having issues with the bootloader. I've gone to the official website and typed in *#*#7378423#*#*, the rooting status says 'Bootloader unlock allowed: Yes' so I carried on but when I come to put my info in (e-mail, IMEI etc.) the IMEI is 15 characters instead of 14.
I've already rooted my device using Flashtool but i'm having no luck with the bootloader which i'm assuming I need unlocked to install custom ROM's (?).

Read step 6 again: Enter your name, email address, the first 14 digits (remove the last digit) of your phone’s IMEI number and the two CAPTCHA words in the input boxes. Click Submit. You can view the IMEI number by entering *#06# on your phone.

Is there a way or app that I can use on this phone so that I can view my SIM Unlock Code AFTER the phone is already SIM Unlocked?
I ask because I bought two of these phones unlocked and would like to have the Unlock codes saved just in case I need them later.
Somehow I seem to have messed up or lost my unlock on one of the phones after I rooted it and flashed a new recovery / rom.
It was unlocked, now, If I put an ATT sim in it asks for my unlock code again and I do not have it, as the phone was unlocked when I got it.
Though, when I press *#7465625# to it says all the locks are turned off, like my phone should be unlocked?
Any idea why it is asking for my unlock code again, and if there is a way to get around it being that the phone was unlocked?
Is there a way to recover this unlock code?

Currently there isn't a way to view the code. Several of us have been digging through the system of the device to see where it's coded too. the thread here is where it's being conversed about. click here
How do you know for certain the phones were unlocked when you bought it? Did you try swapping Sims before you flashed anything to it?
I have mine unlocked and have flashed; two roms, cwm, a radio, and a few mods......still unlocked. I constantly swap Sims between my crap work phone and my Samsung, always works.

The person I bought both phones from told me they were both unlocked.
The first one I tried worked, the second one I never tried an ATT Sim until after I rooted, flashed, etc and then it wouldn't work.
He emailed just emailed me the Unlock codes for both phones and they work fine.
Either way, it's all good now. Thanks for the help guys!

Hey, there is any chance that when I change my android from 4.1.2 to 4.4.2 my phone to be sim locked again? Now my phone is unlocked but I have to Ideea how the was unlocked and I wonder if my phone will be locked again when I change my rom. The problem is that when I dial 2945#*975# and I choose network lock it says "this phone is permanently locked and it can not be unlocked" so I dont know what to do, I am afraid that when I do change the android my phone will become permanently locked.
If someone can expalin me it would be great. Sorry for my bad english.

Hey. I have a Mi Mix 2.
When i first got it i've pay some random guy to repair imei, which we have been using without any problems. Until my wife tried to factory reset it, right now it's bricked. Phone doesn't have any connection (Wi-Fi, Cell Network) and when i look at imei it's null. The problem is, bootloader is locked too so i can't do anything. I've tried to unlock bootloader from Mi Unlock but since i don't have the first account which unlocked the phone, i can't unlock it via official ways. I've heard i have to use test point to get EDL Mode, but after that i don't know what i should do. I've heard some programs can unlock bootloader immediately, if you know a program that has a ability to do that please let me know. Help me please. Any help appreciated.
