Hi, I did some research before unlocking the bootloader on my new Galaxy Nexus and I was aware it would wipe the device, but it never said that I would lose my SIM unlock.
Well, it did happen: I succeeded in unlocking the BL and now it asks me for a SIM unlock code, which I don't have.
Please, help me find a solution!!!

Hy sorry for this stupid question but i used the searck but I don't finde any ansver for it....
So SIM unlock is same with BL unlock or it is only a Sim unlock.. ??? I mean if I do thishttp://www.fastgsm.com/en/sonyericsson/se/xperia-arc-s/unlock-network/flashing-debrand(the first option)(buy it and do this) my BL is unlocked too ??????
SIM unlock is not the same as bootloader unlock.
SIM unlock just unlocks phone so you can put different SIM cards in phone.
Bootloader unlock allowed you to install custom roms, and other mods.
To unlock phone you can use test point method then this will unlock SIM and bootloader.

2 different things
unlocked in the bootloader means the bootloader only is unlocked
SIM unlock means the device itself is locked to a carrier and you need the SIM unlock code.
Hi,
I got a Z1 compact and I need to remove the Simlock to use a SIM card from another carrier.
After reading a lot of other posts I'm assuming that I need to unlock the bootloader to do that.
The problem is, that the service info says that the bootloder unlock is not allowed..
Is there any possibility to unlock the bootloader anyway?
Thank you for any helpful answers.

There has been no exploit found yet
No. And will probably never happen either.

You don't need to unlock the bootloader to unlock the SIM. Those are 2 different unlocks.
Hello, I have an SM-T807T and I wanted to sim unlock it without the help of a code to manually unlock it. I've read threads to say I have to unlock the bootloader? Can I do this? If yes, how?? I'm looking at ways to unlock the tablet for free.

You already have an unlocked bootloader.
Network unlock has nothing to do with unlocking the bootloader.
I suggest you stump up and stop being tight. [emoji6]
Since T-Mobile will release a temporarily full phone unlock, isn't there anyway for a developer get the bootloader unlock and sim unlock source from inside the phone since it's unlocked? It sounds weird that developers take months to get a sim unlock and the carrier can do an unlock any way they like. There should be a method to push an unlock on any android phone remotely. Do i make sense?
A sim unlock has nothing to do with a bootloader unlock. T-Mobile SIM unlocked my S22 the day i got it, a few days before release.
