can somebody put screenshot of this new market?
My personal opinion is, that there's way too much bloat in new market.
Is there a way to get back old market on gsf23 ?

Yes. Get the latest v2 Market here http://goo-inside.me/gapps/gapps-gb-20110613-signed.zip
and flash it in recovery.
Will it not self update itself to latest version if FOTAKILL.apk is not in the ROM?

Not sure about that, you can test.
Anyways, you can disable the market updating itself by using Terminal Emulator:

Hi there, can i unroot my g3 by clicking on supersu "full unroot" setting? I rooted using towel root and installed xposed framework and g3 tweaksbox to change a few things here and there. I also uninstalled some bloat using titanium backup. However i realized that i can no longer use android run time which kinda bums me out because it felt a lot smoother to me. Any help with unrooting would be greatly appreciated...

Because I tried it.
And another Verizon person couldn't get it to work. And no one on Verizon has yet confirmed that it does work.
LG Suite just won't recognize the Verizon G3 at all.

Thanks, I needed this last night for an update, and there was the thread staring me in the face.
Hey guys. I have a quick question, hopefully somebody can help me out. I tried to de-bloat my Galaxy Note 2 (T-mobile) thanks to this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2507931
After I used the script and my phone reseted, I got a message saying "Updating apps" or something like that, and it seemed to update about 150 apps. The point of the scripts on that thread are so all the bloatware that the phone brings can be eliminated, but after the update completes I still got all the bloatware there. Can anybody help me out with this please?

Debloater will remove the apps from /system. The problem is, if the apps were updated from the market, they will still reside in /data/app. You will also have to delete them from there.
I have rooted, and I have xposed installed.
What is the upgrade procedure? Do I need to go so far as to remove root? Any advice appreciated.
Thanks!

Got this just now...but don't wanna lose root. The notification is annoying as hell. I would flash and update if it won't bork everything but I'd settle for just getting rid of the notification. Anybody know how to get rid of it??

When I long press, I see "App Info" and when I press it, it shows Google Play Services.
When it is disabled, does the update go away, or is it still on my G3 waiting to be installed?
Anyone know how this happened? I'm rooted, with custom everything, and I have OTA updates disabled!
I'm doing a TWERP backup anyway.
Anyone that has installed the update - did you get root back?

Hi folks,
I have some apps that I am using that are not compatible with Pie yet and I do not want to update.
How can i make sure I don't update until i'm ready?
Thanks.
well, beyond simply not installing the update, go to developer options and turn off 'Automatic system updates'.

just wondering, is it possible to return to oreo v8.1 after updating to pie v9? Or is that not an option after installing the update? I don't want to get stuck on v9 if I have apps that don't work with that version yet... Thanks

You can if your fully bootloader unlocked, and do a clean fastboot installation of 8.1. And yes, your phone will need to be wiped :good:
