Has anyone noticed the excessive amount of padding on this phone?
I've already shrunk the font size down to the smallest, but it seems the vertical padding is all still locked to the regular (or even large) font size, leaving a LOT of white space.
It also doesn't really get me any additional screen real-estate, as the font size shrinks but the apparent row-height doesn't at all.
Are there any apps or tweaks we can implement to adjust this?
Images attached as examples.

Have you tried simply changing the screen dpi in developer settings? I e got mine set to 512.

Hi, I'm changing some images in notifications but there's two problem.

first when I pull down status bar, notification background image is distorted and it seems unnaturally(see first atatchment image)
I think It could be solved by editing xmls but as I said I'm ignorant about this:silly:
Another problem is about nine patches. I draw extra 1-pixel black border lines in photoshop, open them in nine patch editor and saved.
Yet as you can see in second picture(especially in Email), black line is shown in the images and distorted.
I wanna share it if I make it and know how to make flashing zip. Please help me:crying:
So I've created a Zooper skin apk and when I test it on other devices, the text (particularly the calendar events) end up skewed way off of the rectangles I intend for them to superimposed on.
Here's how I want it to look:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

}
or
Here's how it looks on my tablet (similar results on friend's Samsung GS3):
This one was much closer, but in this case the scaling was off.
I changed the alignment for the larger widget's calendar events to "center left" which improved things, but the scaling got me again.
I'm most concerned with the alignment issue, which I might have sorta figured out, but generally speaking it is concerning to me that the widgets all look different on each device. Is there a better way to design them to avoid this?
Here's an .apk if you want to test or you can download through the Play Store. Thanks for your help!
Is anyone else having issues with the sizes of websites when using FHD under the battery saving option? The sites that I use typically are super enlarged to the point where is annoying to use. I want to use the lower res to save power, does anyone know how to fix the font? I've included a screenshot so you can see.

Search in settings for font. Should find font settings. You can change it to the smallest.

Still hueg everything.
Press your recent apps soft key and close all of your open apps. Once you reopen them, your apps should look normal. I had the same issue. I have to do this whenever I switch the screen resolution.
I mean there's any ADB command or any app that make your pixel look like this? (Maybe by scaling the screen down a little?)
From this:

"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

To this:
It's annoying to have to see that the curved edges hides content from the screen. Especially when you play.
ADB would not be able to reduce the available screen real estate: the screen driver would need to be rewritten. An app that sets a black background for the status and navigation bars would work, except for games that play in full screen.
You're simply going to have to deal with this, or purchase a device without rounded corners.
With the last update of March, the layout of the screen has changed and it seems strange to me, has this happened to you too? Or was it a failure only in my case? I attach screenshots

If you pay attention, with the new update, the apps appear much more focused, leaving free space that would have to be used as in the previous updates
I notice that in my homescreen folders
(huge space between)
But my app drawer at five by grid looks mad cramped
Yes, it seems the margin are bigger than before, so that the icons looks so tight.
