First off I can't stress enough how much time and effort was put into this process, no amount of modem flashing, no signal, and device sacrifice would stop us. Not to mention this variant is treated with extreme prejudice from OnePlus ......
Special Thanks to:
@Jhoopes517
for stumbling upon signal still being there. The amount of replicating is to die for
@FizzyAps
for not sleeping, not even taking a damn break until it was explained & able to process
Without him T-mobile variant would be left in the dark.. So please appreciate his hard work and much more simplicity to come and for providing fastboot script
@twinnfamous
For providing data retain module.
In my experience, using my own modem seemed to work better, not exactly sure why. I got slower speeds flashing someone else's modem.
Not sure how that truly would effect.
Since TWRP is now functional
I've added a twrp file to restore Tmobile modem (11.2.5.5)
follow twrp guide above {post #1}
My apologies everyone. I provided an update to the twrp backup (above). Fixed issue where backup file wasn't showing in twrp... Again extract file from zip, move to twrp file on device...
Do you think this modem could benefit me any on AA version using TMobile as my provider or any ups or downs? I guess I could always try after making a backup to my modern, do y'all think so? Edit- I just flashed it and everything seems to be ok so far. How I did it was I made a backup of my modem, & then replaced the files with the ones you posted. Thanks

Of course. As a temporary fix. Definitely best to MSM tool back to Tmobile and backup your modem images.

Reboot to Bootloader

reboot recovery, Restore, Select file,
Flash on Modem partition, reboot
Good luck & Happy Flashing
**Edit:
If from Tmobile, flashing to custom rom service will be fine. since dual sim isn't a thing for NA..
-If using EU conversion to avoid unlock.bin, then you absolutely need to flash modem after every update...
***Reason to use:
OTA update causes Tmo modem to be replaced..
-EU does the same...
-Or just want Tmo modem instead of stock because you have tmobile service.

load android 12 then downgrade to color os which i want to test out, need to flash modem to get data . the android 12 modem works fine ...only 4G so try to use Tmobile modem but no luck
Although I have managed to root, use Magisk, flash Omega multiple times, take OnePlus updates, I am unsure about the instructions in the first post. It seems like a mixture of steps and comments. Sorry for my noob-ness. Can I flash this modem (I am a TMobile user) using Franco Kernal Manager? If not can someone list the exact steps for fastboot?
Thanks, I appreciate it!

I pulled the modem files to the 11.2.5.5 T-Mobile firmware for the OnePlus 9 Pro if you want them. If it helps anyone. I do seem to get much better service on the 5.5 modem than I did with the 2.2 modem.
In my room, I always got 1 to 2 bars. I now get 3 to 4. Granted, I use Wi-Fi most of the time, but my 5G is faster than the Wi-Fi here due to not being able to get good internet out here.

Modem_a/_b are fastboot flashable. Modemst1/st2 have to be flashed via fastbootd.
Fastboot flash modem_a modem_a.img
Fastboot flash mkdem_b modem_b.img
Fastboot reboot fastboot
Fastboot flash modemst1 modemst1.img
Fastboot flash modemst2 modemst2.img
Fastboot reboot
These can also be replaced in payload.bin firmware fastboot roms. Just extract via payload dumper, place these modem files into the rom, then fastboot flashall in fastbootd.

It contains your device specific info, device specific NV data, IMEI, etc. Flashing someone else's modemst will screw up your device and lose all cellular capability (and you are completely SOL if you don't have a backup), and someone with your modemst might be able to clone your IMEI.
This is why my guides all tell you to back them up, so you can restore it in case something goes wrong. You should not be messing with it unless you know what you're doing.
The only modem file you need to flash on to a OP9P conversion is modem.bin, AKA NON-HLOS.

I understand I can convert to EU.... However, I don't wish to do that. I just want to root my stock TMOBILE ROM.
My sim is unlocked and I have the unlock.bin from OnePlus for my phone. For anyone who has rooted TMOBILE stock ROM, which boot.img did you patch? I've read that AA boot image can work, but no firsthand accounts confirming this.
Ideally, I'd like to use my own boot.img but I can't find a tutorial or guide anywhere advising how to obtain my boot.img without root.
Thanks!

It is understandable to be freaked out,. But if you follow the direction letter for letter then you should be fine.
Also good rule of thumb is make sure you have all the drivers and software loaded on your pc, then make sure your pc and phone can talk in adb and fastboot before you start to flash your phone.
I have rooted my stock tmo rom with aa and all good. Of course I went even further and installed the EU version on my tmo bought 9Pro..

Yep, confirmed, 9pro and my computer can talk. The whole MSM thing is what is worrying me. In the MSM tool, it says it is the TMO -EU MSM. So, once it does it's thing and flashes it all, it should wipe the phone, it would be on the EU rom?
From there, I would need to follow the steps, unlock BL, flash modems, and then download oxygen updater to be able to locally download updates and install?
I have a Ginkgo model which I am using with LineageOS 17.1 / TWRP. It is pretty cool.
However I want to return completely to the Global (EU) version of the software, including stock recovery, ROM, relocked bootloader, anything, because I am willing to sell the phone.
Next user will be average user, unlike me, so he/she won't appreciate any modifications.
Tried to search for suggestions but no luck.
Before installing LoS, I installed Xiaomi.EU 12.5 stable from here: https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/miui-12-0-12-1-12-2-12-5-stable-release.56191/
Could have some relevance like firmware partition, etc. AFAIK it is Chinese ROM based, will that make any problems when I re-flash EU version?
Found this one: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/how-to-completely-revert-back-to-stock.4088665/
But before trying and possibly bricking the phone, I'd like to hear some encourage from you guys. Phone was EU version originally.
Many thanks.

it will brick the phone and your only way to fix it is EDL
I am happy to update the thread with good results.
Please note that the following are my personal experience described, I cannot guarantee anything and you might get a bricked phone. Please dont blame me if anything goes wrong!
Originally my phone was Global/EEA, and I had Xiaomi.EU and LineageOS 17.1 also this year. After this, I successfully reverted to complete factory software, including relocking the bootloader. This is necessary if you want to sell your phone to other people because they dont need custom ROMs and will complain.
First, go to this link: https://c.mi.com/oc/miuidownload/detail?guide=2
(make sure to follow the 'Fastboot Update' guide on this link!)
On Step 1, click on the link to download the Flash tool.
On Step 2, select your proper device (mine was 'Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Latest EEA Stable Version Fastboot File Download'). I think region (like Chinese, Global/EEA) is hardcoded to the phone, so you cannot flash Global ROM to a Chinese phone, but please fix me. Pay attention what you select here.
Once both files are downloaded, extract them (you can use 7-zip).
Put your phone to fastboot mode.
Connect your phone with USB cable to your Windows machine. Start the flash tool, make sure to run it as admin. AFAIK it will present a dialog to install the necessary drivers which is needed to communicate with the phone in fastboot mode, just click OK for that.
Check if your phone is present in the list. On the left bottom side, click on 'clean all and lock'. Select the extracted directory of the fastboot ROM you downloaded. Press the flash button.
Wait for a few minutes. Your phone will boot up with original MIUI ROM.
You might also check logs. You need to have a ton of fastboot commands and a successful locking at the end.
Important notes: flash chinese ROM for chinese phone, global or eea for european/global phones. You can only relock your bootloader using the proper region.
Good luck anyone reading this!
I am seeing a lot of folks who are still (year later) unable to enjoy custom ROM with T-Mobile devices, so I wanted to quickly post this easy method for enjoying your device with FULL DATA. If you are using a T-Mobile branded OnePlus 9 Pro and have accepted all normal OTA updates as of 9/8/22, you should be on C.19 firmware.
Assuming you have already unlocked your bootloader, you can safely upgrade to EU C.62 firmware found at:

I completed this process while already on Nameless but it should work for others too. No more dodgy modules, hacked MSMDownloadTools or sorta working phones. Note, firmware and local updates are NOT the same. You are not cross-flashing to an entirely new software but ONLY required firmware modules for latest custom ROMs. Hope this helps!
P.S. if you receive any error while sideloading your new firmware, DO NOT unplug or reboot your phone. Repeat the process until it's completed successfully.
So you are saying no need to msm to EU first? I am on C.19, is this supposed to be flashed in fastboot? No modem issues??

Of course, it's modified because OnePlus doesn't create firmware packages for our community. However, the files within the package are original dumps.
You can easily sideload this fix through your custom recovery using adb sideload OP9PRO_Android12_C63_NA_Firmware.zip for example.
Ok, one last question, are we able to take ota updates after doing the sideload? I know this is the latest firmware so there won't be any but in the future are we able to take ota?

The Tool All In One is a great tool with many uses. You can choose the OP8P and it will work for OP9P. My question is will this really work side loading C.62 or C.63 on Le2127 and not lose data. I want to revert to the European LE2123 as saw it can support it. To revert your OnePlus 9 Pro to the European version of Android 13 (LE2123), you will need to flash the firmware for that version onto your device. This is a technical process that involves using specialized software to replace the operating system on your device.
Before you begin, you should make sure that you have backed up all of your important data, as the process will erase everything on your device. You will also need to download the firmware for the European version of Android 13 (LE2123) and the appropriate flashing tool.
To flash the firmware onto your device, you will need to follow these steps:
Enable developer mode on your device by going to Settings > About phone > Software information > More > Developer options.
Enable USB debugging on your device by going to Settings > Developer options > USB debugging.
Connect your device to your computer using a USB cable.
Open the flashing tool and follow the prompts to install the firmware onto your device.
When the process is complete, your device will restart and you should be able to use the European version of Android 13 (LE2123).
It is important to note that this process can be risky and may result in data loss or damage to your device if not done correctly. If you are not comfortable with technical processes or are unsure about how to proceed, it is recommended that you seek the assistance of a professional.

Oneplus 9 Pro. LE2125. But I read somewhere that the LE2125 can be changed to LE2123 with the software change as it is not hardware-dependent entirely. Yes, the Indian hardware version has different radio frequencies, but the EU and US are very similar. Anyway- I have gone down a rabbit hole and not really sure.

Use LE2125 msmtool and then flash the LE2123 OOS11 rom through fastboot. It can be done by payload flasher also, payload file is included in full rom zip. Once you have converted to LE2123, do a factory reset and you can update it normally all the way to OOS13.

Read the op9 guide if you are confused.

Thank you- thank you for being professional to provide assistance. I can do the flash but wanted to make sure it was safe/possible before I tried. Currently, the phone is not working well enough to keep it as is, so worth any risk to fix it. Currently using a Xiaomi 11T Pro and love it- so I know there is a huge gap in getting the OnePlus working properly again.
But where is the 'flashing tool' found?
