As tradition demands, i must start by saying: sry for bad english, will do my best...
I have this great tab since 2014, helped me a lot in my college and a little after. It had seen little use in the last years, i had installed a custom room a while ago (dont remember wich one)
Last year i used it a little mainly as a second screen for my PC, but after a while i started seeing screen flickering problems and restarting loops, now it restarts at the samsung logo screen
Today i tried to bring it back to life with no sucess, so decided to post it here.
Vídeo of the problem i have
i was thinking about a problem with the screen, but it makes no sense, since i have no flickering on the warning screen or recovery screen
Video of the Warning screen and recovery mode screen without flickering, even if i wait a long time i see no flickering or restart.
I decided to flash the original rom using ODIN, it was a sucessful procedure, here is the video of the tablet screen during procedure, but when it completed it restarted with the same problem
I have never opened it, never changes screen or battery. I think it could be something to do with the program for using the tablet as second screen for PC, but not sure.
Any sugestion about what to do? any hope?
I apreciate any help, since i cant buy a new tablet and would be a shame for it to become tech junk.
@kubnivel does it have the same problem when fully loaded or connected to the charger?
I think my T325 was flickering as well before I changed the battery.
That is a very easy process to do.
Now it's running perfectly well on LOS18.1.
@bmwdroid Thx for the reply. I had already tested with the tablet conected to the charger, but not on 100% charge, so i left it charging overnight and turned it on this morning while it was still connected, it finnaly made it past the samsung logo screen, but i was in hurry and couldn´t test it any longer. Gonna try it tomorrow and post it here.
Working with a 100% charge while connected to the charger is a sign that it may be a problem with the battery?

Indeed.
Would be a sign for changing the battery for me.
The low price for a replacement is worth a try imo.

Bought a new cheap battery and the problem is gone. Thx a lot for the hint man.
Now the problem gonna be learning to install a new OS from scratch, android 4.4 is unusable....

Well, that isn't to hard to do.
You either need a Windows PC Odin or Linux with Heimdall (which I think works on Mac as well).
Here is the link to the Q ROM by @Valera1978 which imho is the best ever published for our devices.
The procedure was described for S4 brilliantly by @Retrial here.
If you need further help just send me a PM.
Although you gotta find first, if you will have to update the bootloader first.
My T325 came from 5.0.2 had it wasn't neccessary but for 4.4 idk.

Good to hear that it worked.
Have fun with it.

Hey guys,
Last week I was at the bar taking a picture from some nice girls, unfortanly my Desire slipped from my hand an fell pretty hard on the floor. It was off an didn't boot. After a night without the battery, the next day it booted and worked for an week, no problems at all. Yesterday my phone shutted off again and now I can't boot it at all again, left it the whole night at the charger, but that didn't seem to help, ive searched the forums but nothing helped. The strange thing is, that it worked for an week and now it doesn't anymore. Does someone knows a proper solution for this, my phone is rooted and RCMixHD 2.0 is running on it. help?
Ok, I found out that I still have warranty at my provider! But, do they start whining if they found out my phone has an custom rom?

Hi.
I think that more than for sure there will be problems if they are able to find that you have ROOT-ed your phone since this breaks the warranty. Anyway try leaving it without battery in for a day and see if this can make the phone boot up. You could also try another battery, if you have a friend with the same phone or you are able to go to a store and ask to try out a battery to see if that is the problem.
If that is your problem you can, I think go to warranty and say that your problem is the battery.
It would be recommended that you run a RUU if you are to go to warranty. If they find out you messed with the phone I think your warranty will be gone forever.
If the battery is not the problem, then I think you can't do anything, since your phone doesn't even boot up, but go to warranty and pray that they wont examine too deep and see the root.
Still I have one curiosity: the led is still showing that you are charging the phone (the orange, green led)?

Thanx for your reply, I tried another battery but that didn't help . The led doesnt show up if I put an charger in it (tried with different chargers/cables the phone isnt doing anything. The last time it stopped working I didn't use the phone for about 8 hours, and after that I booted and worked fine for an week. So hopefully he wil work again this evening so I can make him stock again for warranty.

Hi.
As it sounds, it could be a motherboard problem, or the usb connection on the phone, or anything else, but since it isn't working with any battery then it is surely from the motherboard.
Hope it starts one more time so you can bring it to stock.
Even if this fails, there's nothing else to try but getting it to warranty and cross fingers.
Good luck.
Hey Guys,
i hope you can help me.
I have a Galaxy W and I'm using arcos CM10.1 for a while now. 3 Weeks ago I decided to update to arcos latest Beta 4. It was running as good as always for the 3 weeks - but as I went to bed on Friday evening my Wonder had about 50% battery and when I woke up it was turned off. At first I thought the battery collapsed, so I tried loading it but it didn't help. My Mother also has a Galaxy W, so I put in her battery, but it didn't help either.
The Problem is: no matter what I try, when I push the Power-Button the screen stays black and nothing happens. No vibration or anything. So I'm not able to boot in recovery or anything else.
Is there anything I can do? Do you think this is a Hardware-issue?
I'm barely over the warranty, so sending it to Samsung is no real option.
There were a lot of photos on the internal SD-Card - is there a way to save them?
Thank you guys! :crying:

The same thing is happened to me the battery from 70% is dropped to 0% and the next morning I can't power on but when I tried to charge my phone I saw the charger animation so I waited until the battery is upped to 100%.
I think it's an overheathing problem cause now my battery works fine:good:
Thanks for your Reply!
The problem is even if I put it on the Charger - nothing happens...
That means I don't see the charger animation either...
And I tried different cables (USB and DC) ...
Any other idea?

Mine didn't turn on, got a JTAG, it worked fine (is dead now, fell in water, got new one) You should try that, if not fixed. Then the logic board is dead

That sounds great
So I did some research and found out, that such a JTAG (I found "RiffBox") is about 150$
Isn't there any cheaper method?
I mean if I spend 150$ I could nearly buy a new phone...
I found UnBrickableResurrector on xda.
But I'm not sure if it works for our device
Has anyone worked with that before?
Or knows a cheaper JTAG?
EDIT: Found someone to borrow an USB Jig. Will try this at first.
Also I found a local phone repair shop - they'll do a JTAG for about 25$, so if the Jig won't help it's worth a thinking...
I'll write again if I know more :fingers-crossed:

Great find, see if that supports our Wonder, and the cheapest JTAG here is around 12$, But trust me, it is worth it.
jtag usb jig diy guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/help/guide-how-to-make-usb-jig-reset-binary-t1604707
That thread is for USB jig only......
The chances are that a jig WILL NOT WORK......it takes a bootlooping phone and forces download mode.....if your phone is totally unresponsive.... eg not even powering on to get as far as bootloop....the jig will be useless.
I think the only option is JTAG......
but I think that it might delete the files that you are worried about.....
Check with the repairer first.
Also find out if you will still be charged if the JTAG fails.....
My wife says I'm a phone geek....She's probably right
Hey Guys, sorry for the late response.
It seems the Galaxy W is dead - no USB Jig and no JTAG could revive it
Looks like the hardware is dead. So I had to order a new phone.
I'm now proud owner of a Google Nexus 5, which is really awesome
This is a serious problem. In the past couple of days, I have been using my note 4 and it reboots out of nowhere and will not boot again. I tried wiping cache, no dice. Tried factory resetting it, no dice. Used the Verizon official software repair tool, no dice. I even flashed it manually with ODIN and used a PIT file to re-partition it and that fixes it for a couple of days, but then it does it again.
Nothing will get the device to boot again, and it will not boot into safe mode either.
Does anyone have any idea as to what on earth is going on? I've had to put my SIM card in another phone that works.
Hello Macmaster2000, tried using another battery?
My current note 4 situation, though some battery/charging apps say the battery is "healthy".... when its not plugged in it will go into a boot-loop after about 1-2 hours of usage on battery even if it had 80-90% of battery life and it would still boot-loop.. but when it is connected to the charger it wont boot-loop..
Sadly, I don't have a replacement battery to tell you if that's the problem to my bootloops or other :\ worth a shot thou!

:highfive: No problem glad to be of help! :highfive:, my batteries came in(I've ordered 2 off amazon due to a bad past experience with my old nexus 4 when i ordered one. was a month without a phone . one from BinTek and the other sais its OEM but i say "yea right" as long as it works ) and as well it solved my problems! I just wish I Didn't factory reset my phone :crying: back to square one again ah well live and learn.
another thing to take a "note" of ; =D when i've reinstalled 5.0.1 i had a crash message along the side of "NFC crashed failed to respond" maybe our batteries aren't actually "dead" maybe faulty NFC chipet or whatever on the battery preventing it from staying alive (i truely dont know but this sounds suspicious..... it could be that our batteries were bottomshelf.... or.... *looks at samsung* )

I think the best batteries are from Anker, best sellers on amazon and I've never had a problem!
Also, not sure on the NFC crashing, I use it daily and haven't had an issue.
Dear XDA-overlords,
the last time I askeed your help was during my odyssey with the HTC HD2 and I recveived great help.
So once again - I reuiere your knowledg sine I don*t know much about the LG G3.
My smartphone: LG G3 D851
ROM: CandySiX-d85x
The issue: the sim-card reader is most def. dead. So I took the liberty to remove the tiny metal-plate to take a closer look at the pins for the sim-card-reader. (One pin was broken, guess thats at fault). But the main-story unfolds just at this moment. Ever since I did that, my smartphone stopped booting properly.
I can flash every rom, it works just fine at th e first-start. But if I restart the phone, it's more or less a gamble if the phone will start up properly or end up in a blackscreen after the LG logo. If the phone starts (in like 2 out of 10 attempts) it works perfectly fine. My only hope is, that the battery is at fault since I bought the phone used and that damned thing dischargers in less than 2 hours from 100 to 0%,
So, does anyone have the slightes idear whats wrong with the phone? Everything worked perfectly up to yesterday. Ever since, everything has gone to ****s.
Best regards,
Zakkusu

What do you mean by "bump" ?
Bumping is simply put to put the thread at the top again. Most forums allow that once a day (24 hours)
At least I'm not the only one with this issue. Perhaps there is a solution to this already. My new battery will arrive tomorrow, I dearly hope, that this is the source of the problem.

Hey there im turning to the community for a bit of help...
First of all here is my phone info... Bone stock non-rooted
Lg G3 D-852 canadian version with Bell
Running android 6.0 kernel 3.4.0
Build number mra58k soft version d85230h
here is my issue, lately when i do random things on the phone it shuts itself down and goes into a bootloop.
in order to get the phone back on i actually have to plug it in and for some reason seems to short it back out of loop and into boot.
At first when it started it was booting up completely then shutting down 4 times. after that 4th time everything was good.
now it just stays stuck in a look until i shove a wire up its hole.
ive come to notice that most times whe it shuts down it seems to be when i try to do many things at once or load up a video...
sometimes even opening a picture will shut it down... it almost feels like when an overclocked system just ticks off.
im not quite sure where to go from here, phone is 2 years old but id love to figure this problem out
edit: yes i already tried a factory reset
edit 2: i just tried another factory reset.... now it wont even load up. itll boot all the way to the os (if plugged in) then shuts down and just says its charging... completely out of a phone now ffs
Its battery related problem.
