i'm a bit confused, so i have to ask, what is the optimal version between them when i use a Custom ROM?
i cant really find any big difference but the more i search here i understand that Global frimware tend to work better with custom ROMs...
maybe i'm wrong.. can anyone tell me the real difference between EEA and Global? again, only when i'm using a custom ROM..
thanks!

Well. His question is confusing. I can't tell if he's asking about the difference among stock Roms or the difference between a stock Rom and custom one
Maybe he want to ask about the firmware and vender thing before flashing custom Roms.
Ha, ha, ha....seems he made us using few more neurons to get the right mean of what he said
i''m sorry if i've confused everyone here hehe
i meant firmware..

I think eea is better. I tried this in poco f1 and it was more stable than the global, and luckily It also received updates earlier than the global.
the answer is (based on my version) is use MI EU (root your phone) there you can disable/uninstall any apps that you don't use & many more
as for global there are will be plenty of bug, even on latest 12.5 update xiaomi just give us many bug... bug that isn't there on previous version

Hi
I own an Arc S Lt18A with 2.3 android, should I wait for official ICS or flash one of those custom roms out there?
I know from my experince with x10 mini, that XDA roms are way better than stock roms, is that similar with arc s roms?
If you think I should flash a xda rom which one is the best? and which kernel?
thanks guys
What to wait ? It's already here.
not for my version.. anyway what is better custom xda rom or official ICS?

You can still flash the official ICS rom/firmware (just grab the generic global world).
The worst thing that'll happen, is that you'll lose the bloatware your ISP added
And as for the official/custom discussion, I agree with xMimyx.
Just read the information supplied with the various custom roms and decide for yourself wether or not it's better than the official

I'd say flash the latest, official version. That's what I did and it works really well. I did that after working my way through a few different threads on here, and having to educate myself once or twice along the way. It wasn't perfectly easy, it wasn't as hard as it looked, and it was worthwhile.
So I'll say that's the best and other people might say different, but it doesn't look like they're willing too. The general attitude on here is "Do it yourself." These forums are fantastic in the amount of knowledge available, but many of the experts are so knowledgeable that they don't fully understand how difficult and overwhelming it is for those of us who don't immerse ourselves in Android.. and just want a phone that works well.

try xmooded rom,i have tested both official rom (4.0.4) and lots of custom roms, test this rom

In my honest own opinion ..
so far the best dicission as a beginning ..
To keep yo on the line
there is MooDeD , Arconium , Miui , and Cyanogenmod ..
also Team Xperia's Roms are Amazing ..
the most supported , most famour and most stable as custom roms ..
If you would try custom roms try all of them then decide which to stay with ...

So ive got a D851, and as most of you know, Lollipop still isnt out yet, should be out soon no doubt, but ive read that there are a lot of bugs and issues and what not with the official version of Lollipop. So my question is, would i be better off waiting for the official Lollipop or getting a L based rom?

Yes but it's only a matter of time before a fix comes out. Nothing better than running stock official firmware. Too many roms have different bugs. Unless you want try and find the one that has less.

I guess youre right. Thanks!
Either way, you're going to have bugs. Some are very well documented on any device for which Lollipop has been released.
My thought is to wait for the custom ROMs based from the D851 stock. By that time, many of the existing bugs will have been squashed or have acceptable work-arounds. You also end up with the best of both worlds, think of it as customized stock.
From what I hear, official Lollipop has a lot of bugs or rather annoying quirks, and that no had yet to find a way to unlock the bootloader, so would it be smart to wait for the official update, or root right now and get a L based rom?

I guess it really doesn't matter what you download and flash. Official lollipop has bugs and any L rom you get now has many bugs also. As for me I'm sticking with zonerom until something solid comes out.
What do u recommend I do? Wait or use a rom?

I played with a couple of the roms last week. The plus is the battery, it rocks. Couple bugs: 1. Touch sensitivity is not very good 2. Radio (noticed I lost connection in places I normally don't)

Yes, it is for that. But you've asked the question three times in the same thread and people are still answering you. Are you looking for a different answer than what was given?

I don't think custom ROM will give you significant performance boost. You can try to disable preinstalled apps for that.
not solve my need but okay

Hello Everyone,
I'm using my Poco F3 on HavosOC (official) rom currently and my device reboots randomly when I'm using navigation and it also happens sometimes when my phone is in my pocket. This issue was happening to me on ArrowOS also. If phone reboots randomly when I'm using navigation its causing me a lot of trouble. This issue doesn't happen on Global and Xiaomi.eu roms, it's only happening on custom roms. Please assist.
Device Info.
Poco F3, T-Mobile SIM, I'm located in Canada currently so im on roaming.
Better ask at HavosOC ROM thread.
It exist in official MIUI as well.

Yea the temporary fix is to use H+/3G instead of 5G/LTE.
Also HentaiOS dev fix the issue recently and I'm using the build which is pretty stable.

Use too many porn related tags and XDA do not want to be associated with such keywords in search engines, etc. At least that was the initial reason. A case of meme names gone wrong.
