I want to flash my J2 Pro to android 10/11. Can somebody post a link for its rom.
Also if a phone gets brick how can it be re-flashed again (I am assuming bricking doesn't tamper the hardware).

So I made the mistake about trying to install Lineage OS, without updating MIUI.
So my plan is to reinstall an earlier version of MIUI for the note 5, upgrade that to its current iteration. And then proceed to install Lineage OS.
I just need help finding a version of MIUI. If someone can help me I'd appreciate it.
Or if my plan is dumb, I'd appreciate that feedback as well
You should read about anti-rollback if not done properly YOU WILL BRICK YOUR DEVICE https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-5-pro/how-to/index-everything-anti-roll-t3816219

Is this safe? I have Paranoid Android installed and want to return my device to service and therefore want to flash Stock ROM.. Do I have to consider something to not brick the device? (Got unlocked Bootloader)
I read if flashing the wrong version I could brick the device when relocking? Does it make difference If I flash Global ROM or EU ROM? I only know I don't got a chinese device but not if it is EU or Global..
I am running a EU (i think) note 8 pro with a global 12.5.7 official rom, it has way too many glitches i don't want to deal with and i wanted to change rom, i once tried and bricked it, i recovered it a bit after and that-s how i got 12.5.7, what's the safest way to mod it and what rom is the safest? I was looking at either CrDroid or CorvusOS, which one would you recommend?
To be fair, I have the stock rom, version 12.5.7 and is the most stable version I ve encountered. I have not considered any custom ROM yet because they all seem to lack behind the stock rom. Sure, you get better looks and the vibe of stock debloated rom. Then again you lose a lot of features, Bluetooth range is abysmal and performance is worse compared to stock. And don't get me started on hard bricking risks. My advice would be to make a full reset and stick to the stock rom.

1/You can find many free unbrick hardbrick videos for Redmi note 8 pro. And it's simple to unbrick (in my opinion).
2/You got brick because you didn't follow flash guide.
Example:
- You flash 12.5.x firmware based rom when you are using Miui 12.0.x
- You didn't format data or format data error
- ...
3/Each custom rom has it own support group in each thread. If you want recommend, join there to ask or try it yourself.
Pixel experience imo is good I used to use ppui but rip
Hello, am new to pixel device... My previous device was Xiaomi Mi 11 , my device carne with A13 !my question is there any way to downgrade to A12 I want to flash derfest A12 my fav ROM .. thx in advance
Hello, welcome to Pixel land.
First, in order to flash a factory image, you'd have to unlock your bootloader. If you don't know already, click the yellow How To Guide quick filter at the top of the list of threads in this section and you'll find 3-4 threads that tell how. I also have a link in my signature below - you can use the link for the Pixel 7 Pro - the instructions to unlock the bootloader are the same, and the OP of my Pixel 7 Pro thread is much better organized than my one for the Pixel 6 Pro, in my opinion.
After that, the only way you can downgrade (and have everything working, and not brick your phone is to use one of the two Android 12 Developer Support images for Pixel. There's an Android 12.0 build from February and an Android 12.1 build from July. They will never receive updates, however.
You can always manually flash a Pixel 6 Pro stable Factory Image to re-upgrade at a later date, or use the Official Google Android Flash Tool (OEM Unlocking needs to be toggled on - you may not have to manually unlock the bootloader - the "site" will do that on its own) to re-upgrade.
Any of the stable Android 12 builds at that factory image link should not be flashed because the Android 13 bootloader cannot be downgraded to an Android 12 bootloader, and if you flash everything from 12 Stable but the bootloader, it'll appear to work at first, but it truly won't work correctly - it will not be useable.
If you unlock the bootloader, you should also make sure the Android 13 bootloader is flashed to your inactive slot as well, to avoid the possibility of accidentally bricking your new phone.
Thanks for the fast reply sir much appreciated .. I got the idea ... My device stock unlocked and rooted .. now my question is if I flashed the July A12.1 developer ... Can I flash custom ROM based on A12.1 like derpfest etc ... Sorry I mixed up things here little harder than xiaomi

You're welcome. I don't fool around with custom ROMs except on my 6-year-old or more phones, so I can't answer that question. Part of the best things about having Pixels is the software features Google starts off exclusively on the Pixel stock ROMs.
I used my Note 8T (willow) with custom ROMs with Android 13. Now I want to revert to MIUI, since I'll sell it. Is there anything special that I have to do before just flashing the full zip from here: https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/willow/stable/V12.5.6.0.RCXMIXM/ with fastboot?
Is there any mechanism which prevents me from "downgrading"?
Thank you!
Edit: If possible I want to avoid EDL mode as I don't want to disassemble the phone.
