Hi, I am new to the site and I realized I can add tags to my thread only after posting it. Is there any way to add tags after posting? I didn't find such option when editing my post, and the Edit Thread menu only allows me to edit the title.

Hello,
In the lower right corner next to the title of your thread there's a label "none". Click on it and you can add tags
Edit: @Oswald Boelcke was faster with typing
Thank you, found it.

How to edit Thread Tags
Note: Only the OP can edit Thread tags (and Mods/Admins)

Well back in the days i created a thread with cabs extracted from other devices which run just fine on Blueangel ... I am talking about this thread. Last year i could chnage the title of the thread, without any issue as of sometime in december i can not, so i want to edit the "updated on" date but when i edit the post it only edits the post not the thread title, so it shows correct title in post but incorrect title in thread list. Also this thread is pinned, can this be a problem ?
Can anyone from the staff give me a hint ?
try clicking full edit instead of quick edit
quick edit will only let u edit the content but full lets you do the title aswell
next time post in the right section

Hi
Does new HD Mini Lockscreen needs to be ported on Xperia X1 or there is a cab to simply install it? I really like it.
Cheers

Didn't notice....lol
Just getting tired of ppl asking for this and that without doing a proper search.
Lockscreen is very nice, although the font is maybe a bit small. And the background can only be changed by selecting wallpaper at Start\Settings\Home...just a tip.

It's a wallpaper from NRGZ28, so you should ask him.
With every other forum I go to, when browsing each subforum, the Icon next to each thread is different for threads I have replied to. This makes it much easier to keep track of which ones I should look at again after I reply to them.
I searched around on the CP here, but could not find any setting for this. So is there a way to show which threads I have replied to? Without getting emails for every single thread...
Yep, enable subscriptions in usercp, but without email.
Then you can see them in usercp.
The icon should change too iirc
There are thread indicators that you've posted, I believe they're blue arrows - well, we'll see after I post this, I'll edit and add....
ETA Yup, there's a blue checkmark at the end of the thread title that shows I've posted in the thread. I also subscribe without e-mail notifications, and check them in my User CP.
click your name in forum,then click statistics ,you can find you post in related section.
The envelop image is different for threads you've replied to.
For replied threads, it has a down arrow:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Good old fashioned search.
When in any forum click on "Search this Forum" then on "Advanced Search". Enter your UserID in the "User Name" box.
By default the same forum is shown highlighted in the "Search in Forums" box. Change it if you need to, to a higher level forum, or "Search all Open Forums" and hit the "Search Now" button.
I tend to use this method, instead of subscribing to threads. Just personal preference.
A short username comes in handy.
Hello, XDA'ers,
There seem to be a lot of people on here that don't know how to make pictures "clickable", so I thought I might as well make a thread to help you guys out!
First, I'd like to notify you all that you are only permitted to have and edit a signature after you make 10 useful posts, so don't worry if your Control Panel doesn't have an "Edit Signature" tab.
To make a Signature Picture clickable:
First, you must upload a picture you would like to be displayed in your signature. Here's a screenshot:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Then, you can use the [sigpic] tags with URL tags wrapped around them, like this:
Code:
[PLAIN][url=the.url.of.the.page.you.want.to.be.linked][sigpic][/sigpic][/url][/PLAIN]
Now, maybe you're thinking, "Hey, thanks for the tip, but I have more than one signature picture I want to link to a URL - how do I do that?" Well, here's how:
To make any picture clickable:
First, you must upload the image you want to be displayed to an image hosting site. I use imgur, for example.
Then, you must copy the URL of the image you uploaded. For Chrome, this would be [right click the image] > Copy image URL.
After copying the image URL, use this code to insert into any post or signature:
Code:
[PLAIN][url=the.url.of.the.page.you.want.to.be.linked][img]the.url.of.the.image.you.want.to.display[/img][/url][/PLAIN]
Done! You have successfully linked a picture to a website/webpage by making it clickable.
Hopefully this post helps you all out a bit!

Nookie

Yes, that's right.
Thanks for the tip - adding to the OP now.
Can I set height or width of the image?
Something like
HTML:
height="75px"
.
Due to @rei20 thread in this forum, testing the reported bug and creating a new thread.
[SITE BUG] ?Duplicate Threads
To reproduce: 1. Create a new thread 2. Click edit on the content of the thread 3. Change the thread title Result: this will create a duplicate thread instead of amending the original one. (Edit to tryand recreate the ?bug?

Changed edited first only the thread title - and no duplicated thread has been created.
In this edit #2, also the content of OP edited - and no duplicated thread has been created. Attached screenshots show the status quo ante:

@rei20 I'm unable to reproduce the buy that you're reported.
I'm on the latest firefox beta for android.
It's possible in between one of those steps I pressed on a link by mistake and used the back button to return to the edit screen.

I'm using FF v91.0.2 with a lot of privacy related add-ons. It might certainly be that there was just whatever wrong user input. I think it doesn't matter; this happens to all of us. We're just humans, aren't we. You were the very first who reported this "bug".
Please advise if you want me to close your thread, and afterwards I also close this one - but not sooner than tomorrow as my usual logoff/bedtime is approaching or tonight more precisely football worldchampionship qualifiers and my team is going to play.
Have a good night! Regards
Oswald Boelcke
