so i've found a bug with clockwork rom manager. The contact pictures in the sms app will show up perfectly fine, but the second you run a fix permissions through the rom manager, the contact pictures disappear and wont come back. i did a nandroid before so i could verify this, and sure as anything, when i restored before the fix permissions the pictures came back.
i may be in the wrong forum, but i figured since the rom manager is mostly development side, it would be good here
I completely agree. Is there any fix for this?
this happened to me today. i reflashed cwm recovery and sms contact pics reappeared

Can I ask why you tried the fix permissions? What is it supposed to do for you?

He was probably trying to fix Phone/Dialer.apk
The phone app is not working on Cyanogen 7 build 14-16 (For some people)
Please use nand-restoret o previous CM7 or Flash a CM7 earlier release
EDIT - FIXED after trying something I thought would never work. Sorry for post.
I am new here so cant post on the Development forum.
I just wanted to know if anyone has experienced the GPS stop working. It used to work under R23, but then stopped under R26, R28 and R29.
I even went back to 23 and it worked ok again.
I do a full wipe and clear or all the caches as recommended in between each reflash.
Does anyone know if it just needs a tweak.
I have used the AGPS patch as well with no effect.
My problem is the GPS not coming on at all, NOT just taking ages to find satellites.
Ant help appreciated
Thank you
Try going to menu>manage apps and clearing data and cache for it then try to restart it.

Are you still using R23 as your ROM?
If so - Using a file explorer go to /etc and find a file called gps.conf
- Copy this file onto your SD card and then you can upgrade to R29 and then just copy 'gps.conf' back to /etc and hopefully that should fix your gps problems.
If not - open the zip file for R23 and find the gps.conf file in there and copy it to /etc on your phone.
Hope it helps
Cool, that sounds good will try that.
Thanks
Will I need to set any permissions (I havent had to do that before) or just copy it in and thats that?

As per my experience copy file will work, no need to set permissions.
I've searched but can't find out how to fix my issue.
I keep getting the automatic bugreport etc, when accidentally hitting vol and power when turning on and off the screen.
HOWEVER I know that you normally delete bugmailer.sh from /system/bin. The issue is the bumailer.sh file is not even there!
I tried to delete the bugreport file but all that did was stop the vibration from occurring.
I need to keep USB debugging on for titanium backup to work fully. So thats not a solution to my problem.
I am on 4.3 stock ROM, rooted. Galaxy Nexus GSM.
Has Google renamed it to something else in 4.3?
I tried Root Explorer, ES File Explorer, and searched all folders with each app and can't find bugmailer.sh.
This is driving me nuts , any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Have you solved this problem? I have the same.

No unfortunately, never found a solution.
I've since moved to a custom Rom again, so I currently don't have the issue...
I am running a Gnexus on verizon with the latest AOKP nightly and I am also experiencing the bug reports issue. I have renamed the bugmailer.sh file in many other roms to disable the bugmailer, but now I cannot find the file bugmailer.sh anywhere on my device. Does it have a new name for KitKat? I am praying to the gods of XDA for an answer
Has anyone figured this out? I can't stand the random lag, vibration and then bug report. I thought my device had issues. I'm glad it's just me hitting some keys.
EDIT: Please disregard, I have solved the issue. I don't see the option to delete the thread after clicking Edit/Delete.
