Hey guys, i have just got my op9pro. All of a sudden i see all these posts about the Indian ver not getting 5g bands and etc.
The confusing part is, i have the LE2120 which supposedly is the Chinese ver and also the Indian...!!
The Chinese has more bands and the Indian not?
Anyone mind explaining this to me please.
Indian is LE2121

As titled, I would like to know if P1C72 ROW, has all lte bands or which lte bands he has?
A ROW rom will only work on a ROW phone, correct? I mean, if the phone is CN won´t accept or work with a ROW rom, or am I wrong?

Many have successfully flashed p1a42 firmware (ROW) over p1c72 (CN) including myself. Others have reported that more LTE bands were then unlocked but I can't vouch for that as my LTE carrier also supports some bands already useable by the CN model, so I won't know for sure

Hi All, I have a China purchased P1c72 and updated it and it went pear shaped, I have managed to load a ROM that operates (P1a42_S152_160126_ROW) but it appears to have messed up my sim settings, none been seen, when I do the #### region code thing, it has no option for UK/Ireland...anyone able to help, maybe help me find a ROM or easyimage.zip to get a fix
Fixed.... Restored the qcn in recovery, have the sim working.
I found out there're 3 different models here.
North America model
Europe / Asia model
China model
Since we are close to China, I think I'm getting a China model. What's bugging me is I don't know if custom ROMs posted in OP3 Android Development sections will compatible with China model. I came from a device which have 14 different models with single-dual sim & regional mixed it's all so confusing that I ended up flashing incompatible ROMs several times. Can anyone help me confirm that please?
Just got my Chinese model today. Unlocked bootloader, flashed OnePlus3Oxygen_16_OTA_011_all_1607052050_0e5983ace5314161 and rooted. Everything seems to work fine.
It came with Hydrogen OS (and full of Chinese crapware)

Could you flash a North American model baseband to test if the China model and US model are essentially the same? Both of the two are named A3000 after all.

Can people post here with the LE number shown on your phone under Settings > About Phone > Model so we can compile a list of which device is which?
I haven't been able to find a definitive list, if you know of one then by all means post a link.
Please include your country and provider if it's a provider specific model

You are wrong, Oxygen Updater reads the software not hardware model to determine which update you need. So you have the LE2120 China hardware running the DA (India) ROM

The LE2125 is the US unlocked model and ISN'T carrier specific. It should be compatible with most US carriers (Tmobile, Verizon, AT&T, and their MVNO's, etc.) US-Cellular isnt compatible with any oneplus device unless you know someone on the backend who can whitelist your imei.

I am in Saudi Arabia and planning to buy OPO 9 pro. I can get an Indian version for 3500 saudi riyals and chinese version with global rom for around 4000 riyas. Chinese version has some 5G bands extra compared to Indian version. Is it worth purchasing the Chinese version or shall I go with Indian version?
Hey, I have the Indian version in Yemen and for me personally CDMA doesn't work in the Indian variant although it works with other variants normally.
Would advise just getting the Chinese one as it won't have any downsides compared to the Indian variant.

This is no globle Version the cph2451 is the NA version
Global is cph2449 is the globle/eu model

How Can I use Jio 5g in NA model ?
I'm using Oneplus 8t on KB2005 . Which i guess is a global rom . I'm also facing the issue . In jio app it shows your device is not compatible with jio true 5G
