I am from India. I bought this phone last month and I didn't find any problem with my phone till yesterday. I ported my number from Vodafone GSM to Reliance GSM for some better tariffs. When I inserted my SIM card it restarted telling me that "New SIM Card Inserted. Restarting..". But at the next complete boot the phone restarted again telling that "SIM Card Removed. Restarting". I didn't remove the SIM Card or use anything. It is restarting whenever I put that SIM Card. I have tried replacing a duplicate SIM Card and again my phone is doing the same. Seeing many websites, I have tried blowing and sucking the slot so that may remove any dusts. (If any). And tried using the SIM Card in all other phones. It perfectly works on all phones. In my mobile I have tried using all SIM Cards. Everything works in my phone except this Reliance GSM. What to do??

I want to disable one SIM-card. On my previous phone, almost always with LineageOS, it's was possible.
I don't want to be reached by phone all the time. Removing the sim is complicated (removing the case, opening the tray, removing the sim card and storing it). And the inverse steps to put it back.
I migrated on a S9 just few days ago, and before I was on a ZTE Axon7, with LineageOS. It was always possible to deactivate the sim card.
Is there a solution for deactivating one sim card?
If no, why it's not possible ?
Is it specific to Android 10 and/or Lineage 17 ?

I havent really used my ZUK Z2 Plus for some time, it is my secondary phone.
I recently changed the fingerprint sensor of my ZUK Z2 Plus, that seemed to have worked. At least I can unlock the phone. However, the phone does not detect the sim card anymore. It recognises that there is a Vodafone card in the slot, but I do not get a signal. The sim card works in another phone, another sim card does not work in the ZUK. I tried both slots.
I flashed Zui.4.0.186.Z2_plus.qpst but still i do not get a signal. Any ideas?
Edit: Not sure if the timing of changing the FP coincides with the sim card issue

I'm having issues with a physical SIM whereby my phone (Xiaomi 13 Pro) doesn't want to activate the SIM line nor can I input the PIN to unlock the SIM card. Essentially the phone is happy with the SIM not functioning at all and there's no way to change the status. I want to mention that it did prompt me the very first time I inserted the SIM for initial setup but hasn't been since then. Rebooting, turning airplane mode on/off doesn't seem to prompt the unlock/activate the SIM. I have to use that specific SIM on another phone now. Any clue on how to solve this or force the phone to unlock and activate the card?

Maybe try deleting the pin code with the other phone and/or using the other location.
