This is Nayim from Bangladesh, using Mi 11 lote 4G. My Rom is 12.0.8. After update, when I want to send an e-mail using Gmail app, Attachment not attached.Does anyone had faced this type of problem.I had already uninstalled system webview but still problem persists.

I don't have any issue with attachments. I just tried it

I never use Gmail for sent Email...
And I remove that
I had this problem when I turned off MIUI Optimization. When I turned it on again, I was able to add attachments to emails sent in Gmail.

Dear friends, I've a problem with Whatsapp (v. 2.8.5732) on my Galaxy S (froyo): when I send an audio note, the receivers (usually my friends with BB and iPhone....) never never never can listen what I've recorded, it appears as "empty" audio note with an error "unable to play this audio...." .... I thought that with latest version of Whatsapp (in changelog you can see "upload media files fixed" in fact...) this problem could be solved, but is not so and I don't know what to do... :crying:
Did anyone know or has this problem?? Did you solved it?? How can i fixed it??

Thanks! Anyway, do you think that is only this the problem? Or maybe is whatsapp application "corrupted" and a simply re-instalation could to fix the problem?
Maybe It helps to reinstall The app, but First of all I also would Update android to gingerbread

Hi, I'm having this problem where I cannot download .apks from the stock email client using cyanogenmod 10. It's telling me: "There is not installed app that can open this attachment." I never had this problem before flashing this rom. Is this a known problem, or am I missing something?
I noticed this person had a similar problem on the nexus 7: (link which I cannot post)
but there's no solution.

I have try to install lots of versions of whatsapp for my wifes nokia xl but non work. I had one that worked but then it said it not supported any more and stoped working.
Which version works???
I have used whatsapp pluss and thats a no go too. I will download it by 4shared.

lastest official whatsapp from playstore works just fine. it just showed device not supported when u open it directly, but if u create a shortcut or widget of any whatsapp contact or group on homescreen then u can open and use it from there. or open it from fastlane history.

there seems to be some issue with build.prop for which the official updated whatsapp and fb app does not work.
I found that Baidu cloud rom beta 49, both whatsapp and fb works out of the box, no mod required.
however, stock rom and all other custom rom does not support the official apps.
the problem seems to be within the given part of build.prop file
HTML:

If we replace this whole part with a build.probp of a rom which already supports ( Eg: Baidu Beta 49 build.prop) whatsapp and fb...it seems to be working.

Updated versions of Whatsapp show an error message when opened directly. But Whatsapp is still accessible in Nokia X range devices. You may use any of these possible solutions.
1. You may open Whatsapp by accessing fastlane history like mdfzhi directed. This will open the conversations directly.
2. Whatsapp+ works just fine if you follow the below steps.
-> Install Whatsapp
-> Open it through fastlane history and send some whatsapp messages to friends
-> And it is better if u make a message backup
-> Uninstall Whatsapp
-> Install Whatsapp+
3. Changing the build.prop file might fix the problem but it might lead to unwanted issues later. Inorder to change the build.prop you would have to root your phone, which voids warranty. If you are willing to take the risk, it is better advised that you install a custom rom rather than trying to just change the build.prop file.
Considering your problem, I would recommend using the 2nd method by installing whatsapp plus. This might solve your problem.

Solution: u have to try the alternate
just download whatsapp plus 5.80 version from google.
its working.
1st of all u have to install whatsapp from 1mobile market or google store or whatever.............
confirm ur phone number, after u continue, it says "device not supported"
now uninstall whatsapp..... after that install the whatsapp plus 5.80 u just downloaded
verify ur phone number and all done

Just open one of the contacts and click on whatsapp icon. You are good to go. Do it Every time.

Hello my friends i have Wildfire S CM10.1 CWM v5.0.2.8 without GAPPS flashed and i download from a site the original VIBER apk.I install it to my phone.It work perfect it send me the code etc. but when i get in to the app it can't read my contacts so i can't see who of my friends has viber or even chat.what should i do?is there any solution?I think that i have to install GAPPS because when i get in the settings and i press to import an account in other apps (shazam,yahoo,etc.) it just take me to the page i was before without any message or crash...

I am not sure but, I doubt its got anything to do with gapps. You should check the "sync option" under both your device settings and viber settings.

According to Viber, "Some Android devices require that your contacts are synced to your Google account before being able to sync them to Viber". Also, they say its a known issue and they are working on resolving it in future versions. Untill then my friend, you would need gapps.

I'm suffering from this problem!!! I don't receive any notification from email, WhatsApp, Instagram, or any other app! Just when they are in recents, it works. I tried all fixes mentioned in this forum and doesn't work! I like official ZUI and I don't wanna change it. I tried MIUI and notifications were working good.
Please help!!!!!

This problem exists in every Chinese zui. We have two solutions for this problem. 1st is convert those apps into system apps. 2nd is lock those apps in memory via security centre.
