Problem of download of applications

Hello,
I'm new on this forum and by opportunity on CyanogenMod I've a problem with the download of application from Android Market. Indeed some download correctly while the others (as Maps) doesn't download (the download dashes then stops immediately).
Does anybody know the problem?

Up please I'm very lost ...

CM7 hboot? Cache of only 5mb is your answer. You can try with s2e or create a ramdisk which will get deleted after the update is done-it didn't work out for me, though.

HTC Hub Update - Version 1.9 (Build 2117.31249)

Another update happened, but like the last one, I still don't notice any differences. Weird.
I'm running the Mango Beta 2 on an HTC Trophy (Verizon).
Anybody else know what's going on? I can't find any changelogs from HTC's site.

I never understood the purpose of HTC hub. Ive never seen HTC add any apps to it.. And the apps that are there are downloadable from the marketplace

After update HTC Hub to version 1.9 i can't see name of town i choose in HTC Hub and temperature in tile on home screen. I tried to uninstall HTC Hub, then reboot, install again HTC Hub, another reboot but it didn't solve the problem. Any ideas?

Another uninstall, reboot, install and second reboot before start application solve the issue on my WP.

No issues here, works great.

Hub Update with HSPL
if you got HSPL on you phone you will get this update on market place, it will jst pop up when you check with the market place.
im on DFT 7712, i ve already got this update. the only thing with this DFT 7712 is that you can update it to 7720 even its jst a minor update for those who are on 7712 & 7713, what ey ve noticed is the logo on the boot sceen " Not for Sale" disappeared. other than nothing much have been changed as far the update is concerned.

Is available an extracted .xap ? I'd like to try with my LG.....

note that the files are hidden in the package and that you will only see if you have "see hidden files" and "see hidden operating files" checked in explorer.

1. Download it
2. Open it with ES File Explorer

And now the problem comes : You cannot use your viber account on your phone and oon your N7 / tablet , so you will have to send the validation code ( or something like that ) to another phone number ( *YOUR CHOICE* )

I have viber on the phone. I did not know that. Maybe you can update op for newb user like me. Used my other phone and it works.:beer:

Or you can use your titanium backup file.. just restore it on your N7.. works for whatsapp also...

Google viber apk.
Or if you have an android phone than download it from play store.
With ESFileExplorer send it to your gmail. Open gmail on Nexus and install it.

I was using viber for a long time untill yesteday Itried to upgrade it to the latest version (2.3.0.694) via Blackmart. after that I couldn't open it any more and it just gave error "unfortunately, viber has stopped". I've uninstalled it, and after that I cannot install it again. I tried play store some other markets and apk file and it can't install it. even I tried prevoius version apk file (that used to work just fine) but it cannot be installed either.
what should I do? is there any cache or something that prevents it to be installed?

A restart should fix your problem. It'll clear any leftover data and allow you to reinstall.

Cannot open email attachments (.apks) cyanogenmod 10?

Hi, I'm having this problem where I cannot download .apks from the stock email client using cyanogenmod 10. It's telling me: "There is not installed app that can open this attachment." I never had this problem before flashing this rom. Is this a known problem, or am I missing something?
I noticed this person had a similar problem on the nexus 7: (link which I cannot post)
but there's no solution.

Hi, I have installed Save my Attach from Market and it works fine.

i thought this thread would be useful , for all of us, who installed this ROM, for questions, troubleshooting.....just about anything....

1.when i try to play video ,i've got message : Can't play this video
2.after flash CronMod-INT2EXT+_signed.zip, everytime when turn on wi-fi connection, a kind of pop-up message appear : Invalid int:"CM101"
before CronMod-INT2EXT+_signed.zip, that didn't happened !

No doubt it is a great rom and Great Work has been done by developers ... and I am not expert at all but
I faced the same problem but for Videos I am using Mx player and those are working fine and that invalid int cm101 was resolved when I used
CronMod-INT2EXT4+_signed ... instead of CronMod-INT2EXT+_signed
Hopr it may help ...

I am currently using this ROM as well, I must concur - it's really well-made. Works almost flawlessly, haven't had any crashes or anything related to ROM (though my phone hung up a couple of times, but that must've been because of a game I played). I saw quite a few of those "Invalid int:"CM101", but never really took it seriously. What concerns the video, I was able to play every single one thus far. You could try reflashing your ROM if you don't have much apps and/or data to lose. By the way, they recently released a new version, something along the lines of "Release Candidate v3.0". You could try that one, maybe it'll solve your issues.

i saw that and downloaded v3.0 ,.....and yet in About phone it says v2.1 ...

I have just flashed CronMod-INT2EXT4+_signed over it not uninstalled it ... and then went to Advanced --- SD Partition ---- Chose Partition Size and then Swap Size and then Format sd-ext ... and Now I do have internal Memory of 2 GB ... ...
Note : But I am not expert let me remind you ... I am just sharing ma Experience...
And always being on the Safer side ... I try to wipe everything first, then Flash Rom ... then Gapps and then CronMod-INT2EXT4+_signed and then SD parition and reboot system ...

Those numbers don't really matter, because the new features are indeed there. The new kernel, new governor, even the new scheduler, if I'm not mistaken.

May be you are right buddy ... About Invalid int Cm101 error ... I think it was due to OWL Updater ... I uninstalled it through root permissions ... and now there is no error yet Popped up since than ...
At First I thought it may be data connecting error ...but it resolved by just removing it ...

I think max overclock is 806Mhz. I usually keep it at Max 787Mhz and Min 245Mhz and the governer is WFS-immortal and I/O scheduler is sio.

yeah ok but is there any option in this ROM? Do i have to download something to make it work or maybe its build-in ?

This error comes from OWL Updater, you just have to choose All versions (incl. unstable).

I note that in this rom its missing NetworkLocation.apk package, required for the location by wifi or data.
copy to system/app and set permissions rw-r-r.
