I also had this issue. I found out that this because I was using a custom launcher. Try changing back to the default launcher.

Yes you are right using a 3 rd party launcher is the issue here, are there any chance of any update from the company side to solve this what I feel is that this is done on purpose currently...
How to install Xiaomi.eu ROM for Redmi Note 9 Pro Global [joyeuse]
We will release fastboot ROM versions until TWRP for joyeuse is released
TWRP is released now:
- Download ROM zip
- Install in TWRP
- Reboot
Steps to install our ROM for FIRST TIME from China ROM (All your data and files on internal storage will be deleted!)
- Unlock your bootloader by Mi Unlock tool https://en.miui.com/unlock/
- Download our ROM zip file xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote9ProEU_V12.0.1.0.QJZMIXM_v12-10.zip
- Unpack downloaded zip file in the PC
- Reboot your device to fastboot mode (press volume down + power)
- Connect to PC via USB cable
- Run fastboot installation script from unpacked zip according your PC operating system:
For Windows OS ./windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat
For Linux ./linux_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.sh
For MacOS ./macos_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.sh
- After reboot its done (first boot may take up to 10min)

Sorry, but you are factually incorrect!
The Redmi Note 9 Pro EU is NOT the same as the Curtana models! It is much closer the the Note 9 Pro MAX (Excaliber).

Don't worry.. flashing script has device check before flashing process.. also, users who doesn't know their device codename, should not be on XDA..

Glad it has a device check and yes I agree with you but the point is it's the equivalent of posting say for an example an exynos rom in a snapdragon thread for the same phone. There's already alot of confusion with this phone due to the many variations almost identically named and sellers incorrectly labelling the device they sell so this will likely confuse people more. Just a thought
Is the problem with file explorers and root still exists? ( Stock in fastboot )
Are apps like adaway,adfree, Titanium Backup,Lucky patcher will trigger the same problem?
Does safety net check passes in magisk?

im a new findx2 user. i have purchased this mobile to use it with filmic pro. the app was working fine with color 6 Android 10. i have upgraded to andoid 11 few days back. the camera selection option is not available now. the option has been disabled. the OS developers have not made the cameras available for 3rd party developers
please guide me step by step on how to roll back to android 10 and colour 7 os. i have already downloaded the firmware into my mobile but could not install the zip file. & get corrupted file message. the same is the case when i tried downloading the firmware from other sites.
can in istall firmware in my iMac and connect the moble to flash the ROM. . or it is possible only with a PC ?

I think we cannot roll it back to older Android version, just bring it to Oppo Customer Care, they'll help you.
I tried to downgrade to Android 10 in my Realme 6 pro by official methods but when I try it says 'the current version is newer than the installed version'. This method is working fine with some other Realme devices but not mine. I real reason I want to downgrade my Realme 6 pro is because I can't unlock bootloader in Realme ui 2.0 yet. The official "in-deth testing app" isn't optimized for Android 11 yet. Do provide me some solutions please!
I am a Realme 6 Pro user as well and updating my phone to Realme ui 2.0 (with Android 11) was a huge regret as my phone is unusable since then- I can't unlock or dial calls or perform ANY action on my phone due to the touch screen not working at all so I tried factory resetting it but its back to android 11 again and same issue prevails. This app does not support OP 9 Pro. Based on device list on their website.

Just download Open Beta zip to root of storage, then select it in local update (press three dots on update page)
You don't need unlock or third party tool.
Actually, I think you don't need to use US since bands are not affected by firmware.
Also IN is the best variant, only IN has theme store and update is rolled out sooner than US.
Thank you. What about battery. My battery drains like crazy. All standard apps drain battery on this phone Outlook, Google photos, Whatsapp etc. I go from 100% to 70% in 3 hours and I have battery saver on and all optimizations on.
I was hoping the regional update my clear anything that might be wrong with this phone. Any suggestions 9?
