I've had to turn off notifications for emails on my original model Watch because the notification sound from the watch is too loud in meetings. But then I lose the email header on the watch that tells me who sent the message. Can anyone advise me please:
1. Is there a way to turn down the notification sound without changing any other sounds on the Watch?
or
2. Is there a setting that will turn off the notification sound but still allow the email header to show?
Thanks for any advice!

I have a Verizon Galaxy Nexus and after changing my text notification in the SMS settings it plays the notification I changed it to, and then play another notification sound directly after. Even if I change my default notification in settings, or the SMS notification to silent, it still plays this other notification sound. Help?

When I get a phone call notification on my watch I always get an icon of a microphone asking me if I'd like to take a note. What good is that and is there a way to disable it?
Thanks.
Newbie here again... My Asus Zen watch works great. I do get email and text messages on watch..but it doesn"t vibrate to alert me. Periodically I have to check manually. Any ideas what isnt set correctly? When I get a phone call it does vibrate...
your watch settings mirror the phone settings. if the notification doesn't vibrate on your phone it won't on the watch either. the vibration has to be the app's settings too, if you use a third party app like lightflow to add a vibration when the app doesn't offer one it doesn't translate to the watch
So my new pixel watch is alerting me to text messages. My phone is not. If I turn the watch off my phone then alerts me to text messages. Anyone know how to fix this?
Go into the notification settings in the Pixel Watch app on your phone.
Under General you have different possibilities:
Watch muted and phone notification
Watch notification and phone muted
Notification on both
Sounds like you have an option to only notify on watch when connected or in use. What Dan said is likely the reason.
Hi,
I have a Watch GT Classic, but I don't want it to ring/vibrate when I get a phone call.
Is there anyway to disable this? I already disabled all notifications, but the calls keep coming through.
I have seen the Do Not Disturb function, but that stops the display from turning on when turn my wrist which basically makes the watch unusable.
Are there any other options?

don't allow the Huawei health app to access your notifications.
