Question 6+128GB is inferior to 8+256GB? - Xiaomi Poco F3 / Xiaomi Mi 11X / Redmi K40

Good day fellas,
I receive my poco f3 6+128GB since 10April (almost 9 days), and have never open it as was debating whether to get the 8gb when sales comes and sell it off (Percentage are high that might not have offer), or just get on to unbox the 6gb variant??
What do you guys think ? Does the 6+128GB inferior to the 8+256GB?
Do state the pros and cons, and is the different a big factor ?? ( will use for 4-5 years if possible)
Thank You.
FYI , I am coming from Redmi Note 4 user (32GB + 16GB SD card, 3GB Ram) , using for 3 years + and the phone died a month ago due to IC spoil.
Regards,
Jason

I've purchasrd the 8gb version cause i think it will help the phone last a longer time. 50€ for maybe a extra year of use seemed a good deal to me. The extra storage storage is fast but this phone doesn't have usb3.1 for wired transfer so aside from the performance hels is kinda wasted if you don't have a wifi6 router at home (can't use your phone as a portable SSD).
I've lived with less than 8 gb of avaiable storage till now and i'm used to have everything on cloud so i'll never fill those 256 gb. They're useful if you want to film long 4k videos with the phone or you don't use streaming services.
if this phone had a better cabled connection i will always vouch for the 256GB version but beacause it's slow i think it depend only on how long do you plan to use this phone

Usually for Phones i will use it until it spoil, preferably 4-5 years, i am not into filming though, but am wanna try to take good picture and maybe some video for experience.
What do you mean streaming services ?
what Cloud Services you used, is it free or paid ( If it is paid, are they any free cloud services, that maybe have unlimited store) ?
You mean that if this phone has usb 3.1, and you have wifi 6 router at home, (With this 2 combined), you can use this phone poco f3 as a portable SSD ?
What does a phone have the capabilities of a portable SSD does though?

I use Onedrive for work purposes, Google drive for generic things and Amazon photos for pictures. i've also a NAS at home for mass storage.
For streaming services i mean Spotify/tidal, Prime video ecc. if you don't use those and you still want to listen to music or watch a movie having more interna storage might be useful.
UFS 3.1 can saturate a usb3.0 connection, so if you have avaiable space you could use a phone like a portable ssd. unfortunately this phone only has usb 2.0 so it transfers files at a slow rate over USB.
to transfer files at high speed with this phone you better use wifi 6 or 5. Actual use wifi 6 speeds are on par with USB3.0 but using wifi is not as practical as a wired connection

Onedrive, google drive and amazon photos, are you paying for more storage (monthly subscription) or used the free storage?
Streaming service like Sptofiy/tidal, but isn't the streaming service cost data (I have limited data)??

Cloud junk is a sick battery draining joke.
If you have an SD card slot your ok with the smaller internal memory otherwise not.
6 gb of RAM is enough but... more RAM and internal memory are always good to have.

I think it's totally depending on your usage. If you take vids/pics regularly & gaming is important to you (at least when you need), or switch between apps frequently for productivity, 8+256 would benefit in the long term. Extra $/€50 would make the phone more future-proof.
Personally I have 8+256 Poco F2 Pro as my spare phone for gaming, which average memory usage is ~3GB. I picked 6+128 F3 this time as the extra memory & storage is useless for my case.
You will notice significant improvement from your old phone no matter which version you will be using. If F3 would be your main phone, get the 8+256 variant in case you need the extra bits one day.

It's not reliable. Multiple hdds backups are the only way to go. I have over 340gb of data on my phone making cloud storage a complete joke.
Sandisk makes C port flash sticks that transfer at about a 1gb @minute. I use a .5tb one to backup my phone SD card then at least 2 hdds to back that up. Some of my data backups are on 5 hdds in multiple locations.
There are only two types of computer users, those who have lost data, and those who will.
Plan ahead... $hit happens.

you dont have to use the usb for transfering files, you can also use one of the many wifi file transfer apps and with AC wifi get some nice speeds that are much faster then usb2.0

The high capacity flash stick is as good as it gets. So far the .5 tb Sandisk is working well.
I will not buy a laptop or a phone that doesn't support a data drive (SD card). Been setting up my all machines with OS/data drives for almost 20 years. Easier, faster operation and better data security.

I don't think they will offer sales @ early bird price again in a near future, though you might be able to get other sitewide discounts (e.g. $20 off 2xx).
Given your Redmi's broken, if 128GB is enough for you, don't wait for the 256GB variant. Even if you'd like to switch to a 256GB F3 later, the 128GB one won't sell too low in 2nd hand market.

i don't think my way of doing things is wrong. Even free cloud storage uses enterprise machines, they surely have more copies of my files, is nearly impossible to loose them. Also all the cloud storages i use are synced witch mt pc that is synced with my local NAS. this way i have multiple delocalized copies of my most important data without moving a finger. this doesn't count the general backups i do on external drives every 6 months

for example make more Gmail accounts. Every account has 15Gb of free Google drive space. you add all the accounts in the Google Drive app et voilà you have multiple 15Gb cloud storages for free. same goes with onedrive ( in my opinion Onedrive is better but offers less space and MEGA has the worse app but offers more free space so choose based on your needs)

You mean the Google Drive app, preinstalled in poco f3 ??
Is there a limit on how many gmail accounts you can have in google drive?
Will the photos/videos in google drive disappear after 6months , 1 years, 5 years, 10 years???

3) Since you have added your multiple gmail account (let's say 20 gmails account), into google drive, but before u added in, you need to login right? Doesn't that consider login ? So why need to login every once in a while though ???
What's the longest photos or videos you have kept in google drive until now ?

your phone can sync with only one account at the same time so when you switch account you log off. your other ( not main) accounts remain saved but they're inactive. With the poco you can clone apps so maybe if you need more accounts synced at the same time you can go that route

128 gb microsd...when is enough ENOUGH!

Come on folks...128gb microsd?!?!
At first I was excited about the Sandisk announcement (http://dailymobile.se/2008/10/20/sandisk-to-develop-128gb-micosd/); but then I asked one question--When will this end?
I'm torn between constantly buying "the next biggest memory card" versus start storing everything I need online.
Sure they both have their PROs and CONs -- but since 99% of my travels are in a 3G area...
...why NOT use one of the many FREE picture/file stores online?
...and why NOT watch movies and vids online instead of a downloaded copy to my memory card?
...and why not start storing my contacts, calendar, tasks and everyday To Do lists online too?
...and why not even run my desktop applications online where I can access them anywhere I have connectivity?
We Tech OGs know this "cloud computing (Web 3.0)" is nothing new--remember DUMB TERMINALS and THIN CLIENTS? Amongst other advantages, it was SUPPOSE to put a halt to ever-growing disk space needs and excessive licensing costs back in the 1980s and 90s. It didn't really fly...and so now Here we go again.
With only a handful of today's mobile devices having more than 640K of RAM, maybe Bill Gates was right after all when he supposedly said "640K of memory should be enough for anybody".
What is better than to have a large cyclinder capacity?
Right - even more cyclinder capacity ...
I am not traveling always in good 3G connection area and I like to carry arround the data I need. The more the better, for me it is realy that simple.
Wikipedia, MP3s, Navigation, Presentations, fotos, documents, etc.
With a smal card I have to select the data. The larger the card the easier it will be - just have everything.
Claus
128GB on a MicroSD card is just insane.
Been there...done that

Until about 2 years ago, I loaded gigs of TomTom and Mapopolis maps to my SD card. The problem was those maps NEVER had street names and areas less than 4 years old. So I abandoned that and started using Google Maps, YahooGo and Nav4All. The only downside is that an internet connection is now required. I'm now starting to go online with fotos so I can share. I abandoned loading encyclopedias, dictionaries and wikis to my SD cards a long time ago. To me loading those on a card is the same as carrying around hard/printed copies. It's outdated the second you put it on paper. By accessing those online, in theory, you'll have the latest updates.
My only concern with accessing contacts, calendar, tasks and documents online is SECURITY.
Not long ago I spent $60 on a 4GB micro SDHC
Haven't come close to filling it -- but when I saw a 8GB for only $25 last week, I just had to grab it.
I just might do the same when 16GB get to that price point.

Meanwhile this rule of thumb isn't true anymore. The pressure inside the cylinder affects the power of an engine too. So more cylinder capacity isn't neccessary that much.
Had a 512MB SD Card - was enougth but a bit too small ... !
Upgraded to a 1GB SD Card - was enougth but again became a bit too small.
Bought me a 2GB SD Card - damn, still not enough space ... !
Got me a 4GB Card - ... will it ever be large enough for my needs?
Sitting on my 8GB Card - ... not enough space !!!
Well, avoided so far the 16Gig Card because I think it is just too expensive! Hopefully prices will drop soon - so, 128GB would be cool, I could get rid of my 160GB USB drive.
However, I doubt that any currently available MOBILE HANDSET would be capable of handling a 128GB Card ... !
..let me hear ya say tera. oh yeah
The more space you have, the more space you´ll need/use
So the "When is enough" will have to be answered by users and not by manufacturers. The day we don´t buy something that will be the day when they maybe say "Now it´s enough"
Keep in mind those Cards will be used as well for other things then Phones. with a USB reader ( that you could carry on your key chain) you could carry complete data of your desktop with those. (pictures. movies, music etc)
I am selling those readers and many company's that have been using CD/DVDs moving to USB readers with cards. >see the picture for sample<

I suppose the question is not necessarily whether or not "when will enough be enough" but more so "when will they develope phones with much better camera and video quality? That is when the large SD cards will come in handy. 4 years ago Samsung made a great phone for Verizon Wireless. It did nto sell well because it never had a great sale on it but the thing had amazing video, camera, and even voice to text on it.

like this nokia n98? id rather buy a camera and a phone/pda i mean its not like digital zoom is amazing or anything, but yeah that would use alot of space, so would a phone with better screen resolution then all of the games/videos would be bigger. there probably wont ever be an end because people are lazy so they program lazy and dont optimize code and people want everything to be hd so everything will be bloated just for graphics
Wow, that is a pretty sweet phone anda carl zeis lens is really killer for a phone! So I guess that would be a yes.
so this is still using the SDHC interface or what??
it wouldnt make sencse to make a new subunit of SD if it can only go 128 Gb, because face it........ that isnt large enough to support another couple of years.
the jump from 2 Gb to 32 Gb was pritty big, 16 times the capacity.
32 Gb to 128 Gb is nothing compared to that first jump, its only 4 times bigger.
The real question should have been. Where can I get one and how much?

32GB sandisk microSDHC for $99

just a heads up... did a search on this forum for "32GB" and didnt find anything. didnt bother searching "microsdhc" since so many people would have a different way of typing it out that it would be near impossible to find on a search.
anyways, Verizon Wireless seems to have the SanDisk 32GB microSDHC cards IN STOCK and is selling them for $99 online with free overnight shipping. most places havent had stock EVER since it was released a couple of months ago. original retail price on them began at $240 or something.
unfortunately, these are Class 2 only, but generally it's not the card that's the bottleneck when it comes to speed on your device. i popped mine in this morning when it arrived and have had no problems with reading at all; 350mb XviD avi rips of TV shows like Rescue Me and 550mb XviD avi rips of Top Gear all play back flawlessly on my Samsung Vibrant.
write speeds have a bit to be desired, but i cant complain due to faster cards being unavailable. compared to my Class 6 16GB card, it has no ill effects from what i have so far observed while in the device.
cliffs: $99 for a SanDisk 32GB microSDHC from verizonwireless.com with free overnight shipping. normal price from them is $150, but is on special for now... the original deal was $50 off with the purchase of a Droid X, but that seems to have changed for a limited time. cheapest i can find it anywhere else using Google Shopping is $140 before tax+shipping.
Thanks for the heads up. Do a search on Engadget for an article on it (I can't post the link). Apparently it just hit the store 8 days ago.
Still, I dunno. I'm kind of on the fence about getting it due to the price (just dropped $550 on the phone itself).

I think they meant to point out that unless you want to carry around a tiny breakable easy to lose 16gb card in ur pocket or bag and switch out when you need to, having 32gb in one card is more convenient which combined with how newly available the card is, it is quite cheap for the price. You only pay a bit more per GB in this case, normally you'd pay 2-3x more in the beginning for the new highest capacity in flash memory.

I know at least for me, there's never enough space. Unless they somehow manage to offer Terabyte microSD cards. Even the, I'm sure I'd find a sure for it.
Music, movies, games, ebooks, audiobooks, work files, space for pictures and videos, etc.
Do you NEED to have that much stuff on you? No, but it's nice to have access to everthing and worry less about space.
I know I have 14gb of music on my card and that's mostly just ONE genre of music. I have over 150gb of music. And yes, I do listen to all 14gb that I do have on there. It's good to have access to lots of music for parties and get togethers. Remote access is not always a perfect solution.
Again, I don't NEED all the space, but I sure as heck will use it when I have it.
If I had more space, I'd also partition space on my phone for portable apps. Having access to FireFox, GIMP, Openoffice, 7zip, etc wherever I go is a huge plus.

well yes, I agree, there are things to use the space. I'm just saying given the phone limitations wouldn't it be easier to dropbox and/or grab crap off the pc? The thing does have allshare/server capabilities to make that easier.

Do you need to be plugged into the PC to get the files off of it? I assume you do, but even if you didn't, think of all the battery power wasted to get the files when you want them. e.g. let's say I am on a bus or stuck waiting for something and want to watch a show or movie on my pc on my phone. I'd need to get on 3g, hope it can all stream fast enough, and the battery would run out super fast using 3g and playing a video all at once.
Also as for the 32gb 16gb argument. I might be able to work with limited storage, but I personally could fill about 5tb or more with anime and movies and tv shows that I'd like, and if I could carry all of that on my phone, and be able to select anything I want immediately and have it right there, that would be amazingly convenient. Therefore as far as I am concerned 16gb, 32gb, it's never really enough, people can always fill more space. However I will deal with having only a 16gb card on my Epic 4G when it comes out.
I thought the max microSD card the phone accepts is 16 gigs as per specs supplied in the manual. Guess those are wrong then? Good to know! Thanks for posting this topic!!

i can fit 20GB of movies, TV shows, and music on a single card without having to connect my phone to a computer to add more.
THAT wont fit on a 16GB card. i dont carry my laptop wherever i go, therefore i dont really have access to any data beyond the 16GB card. maybe you are always near your computer, but i'm not.

none.
i set the removable card slot as the save point for the camcorder app and recorded nearly 7 minutes of video with lots of movement. no issues when recording.
i then played it back using both the built-in video player and eStrong File Explorer's built-in video player and experienced no dropped frames, freezing, or slowdowns, nor did the audio and video go out of sync.
i'm a hobbyist photographer so reliable, fast memory cards are something i'm always on the lookout for. because of this, i've sampled a lot of different brands in the past (i'm always testing different brands to try and find cheaper alternatives for my camera) and have found that SanDisk flash memory cards are consistently much faster than their rated spec. this result with the 32GB microSD is probably no different nor that unusual, based on my previous experience.
if i have some free time this morning and will do some read/write tests of the SanDisk 32GB Class 2 card alongside the original Samsung 2GB card that the Vibrant came with, a SanDisk 2GB Class 2 card, and a SanDisk 16GB Class 6 card i used in my HD2.

i really dont understand how anyone can manage to COMPLAIN about more data space, or that someone bothered to share a good deal they had found. either you people lead unhappy lives or you're lashing out because you're unable to afford one... because there's no logical explanation you can create to support an argument against a 32GB card except price.

the microSDHC spec allows for up to 32GB. it's just taken this long (released in the beginning of this year, or so) for a company to create a chip dense enough to reliably manufacture a 32GB microSD card.
the new spec, microSDXC, will cover sizes ranging from 32GB up to 2TB in the Secure Digital format. 64GB SDXC cards are already available from Panasonic and SanDisk.

[Q] Why No Micro SD?

So the rumor is no SD card slot on this baby? I'm wondering how much it will matter? I am not too worried about room. I will just buy the biggest one available in terms of internal storage and be covered there. I'm more worried about development. I have rooted and installed custom Roms on my current Samsung Continuum, thanks to the good folks on this forum, and every method involves flashing the rom from the SD card. How will this be different without one? Is installing custom roms/themes, etc more difficult? I've never owned a Nexus S or any other phone that didn't have the SD card, so I am not sure how that works. T
Its not a rumor. And flashing from internal memory should not be a problem.
I voided my warranty and your mum.

It matters to some people. Doesn't matter to me. Never filled up my 16gb. NAND memory is way faster than sd cards.
It won't matter to flashing roms.
It will shipped partitioned like the Nexus S. Nexus S has no issues with it at all.
The internal memory is partitioned I have the nexus s on the box it says 16gb( I know with all my hard drives on all OS that you never get full capacity)
They partition it off and whats left over is then made to look like the SD card for android's storage purposes. You will not miss a thing when it comes to flashing roms and such, since the storage part still mounts the same way.
I rarely need the storage but those one the fence dontgforget about google music(and other services) that will backup your music to teh marvelous cloud and let you stream and even download for offline play to your phone

That's exactly the error i made when purchased the old Nexus S
I was also a PRO preacher of cloud storage (combined i have aprox 70+ GB of free cloud storage among different services), until reality hit me in the back
all those space was useless the moment you lose reception with 3G or WiFi
basically if you are in a subway, or your work place is several walls away, don't expect to get a new batch of streaming music or whatever important file you needed to pull from the cloud.
the 14 GB space you get in the phone is no where near enough for anything, after install apps, and few good games, and couple of nandroid backups.

The sgs2 has 11.5gb free space so im sure the gs will have the same, and your right this isn't enough especially with backups.
There will be a 32GB model, so there shouldn't be an issue.
I was really looking forward to this phone but the lack of sd card support just ruined it for me. It's not just the principle of it (charge 50-100 bucks more for a bigger ram chip that cost maybe $5) but I for one take advantage of having a swappable sd card.
It can especially come in handy on a phone that is soft-bricked.
I'm OK without one. I had two different SDcards from different manufacturers fail on me, causing me to loose my files.
I have not run into that issue using the internal memory in my phone.
My tablet does not have an SDcard, so I've adjusted quite well without one.

I don't understand why people say having no sdcard is a deal breaker. It's the same damn thing. Big deal you can't swap out cards, all you have to do is mount usb mass storage then ZOMG you can change your data. People will complain about anything no matter what device comes out.

I agree. I think it may still sell well without one. The iPhone doesn't have one, and they sell that phone by the millions.
As long as I can use a file manager, store any type of file type on it, and install custom ROMs if i so choose, then I'm good.

i can understand how it can be a deal breaker. people who flash daily would rather use an expendable sd card whose write cycles are limited. and some people do have to move data frequently but i'm sure those have figured out how to do it wirelessly. and then you have your secret agents where being discrete with the passing of information is crucial. kinda serious with that. and then you have the peeps who just have to have their entire collection of music on them because the phones these days do more than double duty. i need to go through my phone again, but right now i'm using about 16gigs of data. approximately 10 gigs is music. then some books. a couple of backups. sync'ed data. maybe 1 gig of pictures. and videos can require lots of data and having a 32gig or 64gig sd can be a tremendous help.
why no Micro SD?
yeah, I'm sure other have posted this, so what. anyway, why would they not put one in to the Nexus phones? removable memory is an excellent feature to have, and can't be that expensive to add a reader if EVERY phone but the iPhone and Nexus has them. it's a total dealbreaker for me and many others.
the real problem is, if Google just made a little more effort to make the Nexus phones competitive by giving it this basic feature, more people would get them, and then there would be more pressure for OEMs to stop filling phones with bloat and their crappy unstable hacks (Sense, touchwiz etc.) that are dragging Google's platform down with fragmentation.
This question has been asked many times and I guess we'll never know for sure but it is Google who's ideology is to keep people online as much as they can. It makes sense to limit local storage and push people towards using cloud storage, particularly with the launch of Google Music where you can store all your music with Google anyway (which would free up a lot of space). Its a great idea, too bad 90% of us have capped data plans and streaming is not possible (unless carriers make it unmetered)
Keep in mind. We have a 32gb model available. With everything going to the cloud, I know that I rely much less on physical storage. Especially with Google Music. (I keep about 1k of my 4.5k songs locally on my phone)
The only thing I would need storage for would be apps, pictures, and a few movies. More than enough.
May be they rely on the USB Host mass storage feature.
developer.android.com/guide/topics/usb/index.html
Hopefully, the Galaxy Nexus will support the USB devices listed on this page:
developer.android.com/reference/android/hardware/usb/UsbConstants.html
I think it has to do with memory speed and performance. Removable memory is great, but personally in a smartphone I don't see the need. Once I activate a phone I never remove the SD card. If I need to xfer a bunch of files to or from my PC, I'll hook it up via USB.
How many of you remove your card on a regular basis to put in a different device? I guess its those people that would benefit from a removable card.
The rest of us should be happy with the extra speed and performance from using onboard memory.
Oh and 32gb is the limit on the microSD cards anyway so I don't see the problem of "limited" space on one's device.

I'm annoyed there isnt any microSD slot! But I have been surviving with an 8gb microsd for years now and only use 2-3gb max..so I'll survive without it I guess.
Good thing is that the built in storage will be much quicker to save on!

Same here, my 8GB microSD has 2-3GB free and a fair chunk of it is for backups from messing with ROMS and Titanium backups, in addition to the usual app data, music, photos and videos.
Given it looks like for some odd reason we may only be getting the 16GB version in the UK, I think I'll be fine with the 16GB version.

Few questions about my new toy.

so i just got my zenfone 2 in an hour ago (was letting it charge)
there is some info id really like to know as before it i only had a gsp l3 cheap 30$ from walmart and only used it for calling people
1. do we have a browser that supports java yet for say if i want to play pogo?
(and i already know about the pogo app)
2. is there anything for performance boosting that i should be aware of for this device?
(looking for any detail into performance over quality n flashy lights)
3. it IS better to let the phone drain rather than keeping it charged right?
4. is there an app that can increase the amount of apps i can have in my home bar?
(just one app and folders)
5. i bought the 64gb version... can i still add more? or is that the max capacity
(plan on adding roms/emulators so need all the space i can get)
6. is there an app that can use part of storage as a virtual ram?
(like a windows os..... not that 4gb isnt bad but never hurts to add 1gb of paging on a device )
ty to anyone that takes the time to read this -hugs-

1.) Not that I know of.
2.) I use Greenify and the included Auto-Start Manager is actually quite handy (thanks Asus)
3.) Shouldn't make that much of a difference. I never put my phone down, so I have to charge it twice a day lol.
4.) Home bar? You can always use a different launcher other than the one that Asus provided. Personally, I like the ZenUI.
5.) SD cards up to 64GB are officially supported, though some users report using SD cards of 128 GB.
6.) You won't need it . I've never run out of RAM, and I multitask to the limit. Caching can use the storage as RAM, but its built in and works automatically.
3. Every once in a while you should cycle your battery....run it until shut off, then charge while the phone is off. While I don't this extends the batteries lifetime capabilities, in the past I have found it does help with daily endurance
thank you both for the info
128Gb cards do work in the zenfone 2, I tried the sandisk 128gb micro sd card. Waiting for the one I ordered to arrive as I had to put the other one back in my tablet...

32gb or 128gb

Whats the main reason for getting 128gb if they give you unlimited storage?
Video content / Music content / Offline photos / Documents / Apps / App data

I think the big reason behind people getting the larger size would be for those interested in doing more with Daydream. I chose 32 because I have never used close to that much on any previous device.
I keep about 100gb of music on my device. Prefer to stream offline than to use data...

You are not getting unlimited storage. It is only unlimited Google Drive storage for the videos and photos you take with your Pixel phone. So when you run out of storage on your device Photos will automatically delete photos and videos from your device after which you will need to use data in order to view them again.
Why 128Gig ?
I travel a lot and regardless what people say for me Data roaming is impossibly expensive and WiFi is not always easy to find.
My Nexus 6 has 32Gig the apps and OS take 29Gig .... If I want to have one movie in local storage my device is filled.
I got the 128 because I download all my Spotify playlist to my phone to save data
Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I have Google music and cache a lot of playlists. Even though I have unlimited data I want interruption free music playback. I offline a lot of YouTube videos for later viewing as well. Photos and 4k videos although may be uploaded for free but 4k streaming may not be as fast when you're re watching. Also when going through an album of high res photos, download from the cloud can't be faster than local. Unlimited cloud storage is mostly great for peace of mind knowing you probably won't lose your media

It's kind of an insurance policy into the future. With virtual reality and other things either coming on board now or in the near future I for one am not sure what my needs are going to be in the future and when I say future that could be in the next 6 months. I don't know what 7.1 is going to use up by itself so I ordered the 128 and would recommend anyone who asks to order the 128.

Unlimited storage is most likely only for photos and videos not everything else.
Got the 32GB but I wish they offered 64GB instead, LIKE MY DEAD NOTE 7
95% of my life or more I'm connected to wifi....32gb for me.
Why drive an SUV? Why have a 3 TB in your desktop? Why have a 36" fridge instead of a 22"?
This is really a pretty lame question but the number one answer that may not be as obvious as the rest...
RESALE VALUE... big time, the extra amount you pay will be ,made up for later (not to mention all your fav music and movies when you are stuck somewhere with no data)
So the limited edition blue is only in 32gb size... Guess I'm going black 128gb. Need it for Google music and Netflix.

I ordered the 128gig because everytime I get a 32gig phone about 6 months in I'm having to start removing stuff to make room for other stuff, it all comes down to how you use the device, the unlimited camera pictures/videos is a nice touch but for how I use my phone that free storage won't even make a dent in what I keep on my phone. on the other hand if it had an SD slot I would have probably took the 32gig as I could offload some stuff to the card, a middle ground option of 64gig would have been nice tho.
