5G not working, how i fix that plz ?
Have you got a subscription with 5g at your carrier? Does it need to be enabled as an option? Has your carrier deployed and activated 5g in your zone (you may find a map for that somewhere)?

Yes, I have a subscription and my service provider supports 5g and it covers my entire area, but the problem is in the OnePlus 9 Pro

Sorry, that was just to be sure.
I can only say that my phone, bought from oneplus for France, running Oxygen Os 11.2.3.3.LE15BA, with the French provider Free Mobile is getting 5G.
I can't provide more help, I hope others will.
Check Settings>Wi-Fi & Network>Sim & Network Settings
See if "Smart 5G" is enabled, try toggling it off or on to see if the phone connects to the 5g masts
Also check the APN settings for your provider's 5g and see if you can add it manually, if you can and it works then raise a support ticket with OnePlus so they can add it to their list
If you need to add a manual APN :
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi & Network>Sim & Network Settings>Access point names
Tap the + sign at the top and enter the details as provided by your supplier.
Your model is listed as AA which is Global but I would still check if the 5g bands in your country are supported
Hi,
Same issue with me. I reported it to Oneplus and they were helpful. They told me to wait for the next update.

It happened with OnePlus 8T and the solution was to download a carrier policy file and replace it with the current one on your phone. Requires a PC.
I don't know if it works on OP9, but heres how it is on oneplus 8T.
I have made list of networks where OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro have 5G enabled: https://gist.github.com/olkitu/888072a29d32f8197d2e86b428225e5c
If not listed, you can wait or enable it using this instruction: https://mt-tech.fi/en/modify-oneplus-7-pro-5g-8-and-8-pro-nr-lte-a-band-combos/

I have read your github page but I found China Mobile 5G NSA and SA bands are N41 not N40 actually.
Could you tell me the carrier policy filename and path in the firmware. I want to confirm some bands is supported or not in DA/BA/AA Oxygen OS.
Thank you.

Oh yes there is mistake - fixed now. Qualcomm report 40 but of course forgot add +1 = so then it's n41. That is just format.
Carrier Policies are in mbn (modem) files in policyman directory.

By the way if you have OnePlus 9 Pro Chinese version would you like to contribute your device log when you are connected to 5G-network?
Here have already listed 4G combinations but would be also good list supported 5G combinations: https://cacombos.com/device/LE2120 . You can contribute https://cacombos.com/contribute if you like.

if you did kindly share the "carrier_polixy.xml" file with me i am trying to modify but not showing 5g in setting
or at least send me step by step how you did make 5g work exactly
thanks
Hey,
decided to risk it and used the Carrier_Policy.xml from my oneplus 8 pro, which was provided from someone else in another thread.
For the sake of not breaking your phone on my behalf, please use google to find one.

This is a quick guide on how to enable VoLTE and VoWIFI on every OnePlus 8 or 8 Pro device.
This method involves downgrading the OnePlus LogKit APK to the OnePlus 7 version.
I recommend you to backup the existing LogKit APK using ADB on a
Or download an APK extractor from the Play Store, i personally recommend: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui&hl=nl
After you extracted the original LogKit you need to download the old LogKit which you can find as an attachment in the thread.
Install the downloaded LogKit APK and follow the steps:
1. Open the Dialer app on the device.
2. dial *#800# and LogKit will open up.
3. Scroll all the way down and click on Function Switch (this is missing from the stock OnePlus 8 LogKit APK).
4. Select VoLTE and when prompted to reboot, press cancel.
5. Select VoWifi and when prompted to reboot press OK.
6. Your device will now reboot and you should have VoLTE & VoWifi enabled.
7. Reinstall the backup from the LogKit apk (VoLTE & VoWifi should still be enabled when you reinstall the backed up LogKit apk).
The above has been tested to work in The Netherlands.
If you have followed the steps, please let me know what your results are!

Update:
For people experiencing problems with receiving calls when having 2 sim cards installed. The above steps seem to fix this issue.
Sweet! Thanks. Finally makes using this phone on Verizon complete.
Hello LennARTpas,
Can I know which network you're on in The Netherlands? I've tried this but it is not working with KPN as of right now.
I'm on AT&T in the US. I had VoLTE and VoWIFI working on my Note 8, so I know I had it provisioned on my line before. With this LogKit I was able to enable the VoWIFI switch. After reboot I enabled the feature, disabled data, and made a call successfully.
I'm not 100% sure if this is a successful test but just the fact that the VoWIFI option is visible in SIM & Network menu and I can toggle it on makes me think it's working. Is there a way to test this for sure? I can't test without a SIM and I can't make a call with Airplane Mode on, so is there a way to know for sure the call is going over WiFi?
Thanks for sharing this info, I had rather curious finding here on Vodafone Germany: on 10.5.8 I only get VoLTE when the SIM is in SIM2 in the tray, not when in SIM1 ! This is repeatable...

I've tested this by setting the prefered call method to WiFi and then make a call to someone.
The following text will show up when calling: Calling via Wi-Fi call Tele2 NL.
Where Tele2 NL is my provider.

My dialer only says "Calling..." it does not say the portion where it says "via Wi-Fi call Tele2 AT&T" or the like. I also do not have the Record button at the bottom. Are you using a dialer other than the one which comes with the stock ROM.

Can confirm. Verizon is still a no go.
Crap I got excited this would work on Verizon, I was about to purchase again.
Doesn't work with visible (Verizon pre paid mvno). Once you switch the wifi calling toggle in the network settings and leave the screen, it unchecks itself.
Can anyone confirm working VoLTE and WiFi calling on T-Mobile with the IN2015 variant?

Anyone on Verizon try this yet? Normally I would have done it by now, but I'm having a busy Monday, and actually have to do some work. I probably won't have time to "work" on my phone until after lunch.
Edit: No guarantee that this will work!
Disclaimer: Your warranty may be void after this procedure. I will not be responsible for any mishap that may happen after unlocking.
Backup you data! Device resets after unlocking!
Step 0: Enable developer options.
It is visible under Settings -> Additional settings after tapping 7 times on the build number.
Step 1: Install the apk linked below.
https://download.c.realme.com/flash/Unlock_tool/DeepTesting_X50pro_Q.apk
Step 2: Update this app by installing this -
https://forum.xda-developers.com/at...327195/?hash=232650ae3997a68a5743c72cdf121c9b
Step 3: Open the app and apply for deep-testing.
It takes sometime to get it reviewed and approved. My request took about a day to get enrolled in this deeptesting progam.
Step 4: Get the latest Android platform-tools and Google usb_driver for Windows. Extract wherever is comfortable for you.
Step 5: Reboot into the bootloader.
Connect the phone to your PC with the provided cable.
Enter the following in a cmd terminal where the extracted platform-tools are. Shift+Right click in that folder for getting the option to open a PowerShell terminal.
Note the prefix.
.\adb reboot bootloader
Step 5: Install the driver.
Open the device manager and right-click on the "Android" device. Choose "Update driver" option.
Select the manual installation option. Now, select the option at the top called "All devices".
Click the "Have Disk" button and then choose the .inf file in the usb_driver folder.
Choose "Android Bootloader Interface" option.
It will show "Operation completed successfully" message.
Step 6: Unlock time.
.\fastboot flashing unlock
Your device will show a warning.
Now is the time to rethink.
Vol up to proceed.
Now, the device will reset. Disconnect the cable and let it boot.

I also downgrade, and the version was probably the same for India. I had to send it to service, wait 2 weeks. They changed motherboard ( I don't know why ) and returned with BETTER FASTER SMOOTHER UI 2.0.
After I messed with ADB and face a boot-loop, to solve the problem I had to update again to laggier and awkward UI 3.0. So now I have to revert to UI 2.0 and don't know how.
I assume a Global rollback package can solve your problem also.

Try this - Go to "Settings" then "About phone". Write down your IMEI Number. Open dialer and enter *#272*IMEInumber# (In the thread replace IMEInumber with your actual IMEI Number). Press dial, you should see a screen with the list of available CSC codes for your device. Select the CSC that you want and tap the Install option.

First you need downgrade to android 10, it's very important. After downgrade setup your device and install google phone dialer (please dont use after 2021/03 google phone dialer apk).after iinstalling google dialer type this code *#*#27262826#*#* .
Now you can change your csc
Please Remember That - Change csc via this method, your all data will be erase, please backup all important data before do that.
Thanx
If you downgrade to A10 on Samsung you gonna brick your phone because of bootloader rev differences.
Any idea how to downgrade? Or it's not possible anymore?
And does SAMKey method work on android 11 and latest bootloader?
It works on android 11.

It is supported by your phone. The binary version isnt an issue and you do not need to downgrade.

Qualcomm PDC Tool and Drivers (attached) (QPST)
PC + modem profiles (attached) + adb
I’m not responsible for any bricks/wipes/deaths/missing things etc. !!!
THIS GUIDE WAS TESTED ONLY ON POCO F3, TRY ON YOUR OWN RISK ON OTHER XIAOMI DEVICES
0. BACKUP YOUR EFS AND MODEM FILES AND REMEMBER WHAT WAS DEFAULT IN PDC
1. Find a correct profile for your carrier if you can and make sure your VoLTE/VoWiFi is enabled via dialer codes (*#*#86583#*#* for VoLTE and *#*#869434#*#* for WiFi, there should be a notification ‘VoLTE/VoWiFi carrier check disabled’ but not all ROMs have that)
2. Install QPST, install drivers (you may need to disable secure boot or some sh*t I dunno)
3. Connect your phone via USB with USB debugging enabled
4. Run adb and use these commands:
adb shell
su
setprop sys.usb.config diag,serial_cdev,rmnet,adb
(this last command may reboot your phone on some custom ROMs, in that case switch ROM or ask your dev to fix it or try it on the phone in Termux and then connect USB)
5. Open PDC (search via start)
6. Select your device in the dropdown menu (Qualcomm HS-USB WWAN Adapter 9091)
7. Select load and select a correct profile for your carrier (for example Profiles\EU\Vodafone\VoLTE\CZ\mcfg_sw.bin for Vodafone Czech)
8. Find your profile in the main window of PDC, right click on it a set for Sub 0 and 1
9. Select the profile you previously used for Sub 0 and 1 and select activate
It should look like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
10. Wait for it to hopefully load signal and work, try to reboot to see if the profile persists
11. Check VoLTE and VoWiFi on your phone, if it works congratulations, if not you may need to try other profiles and see if they persist after reboots
After reflashing ROM/firmware you may need to redo the whole procedure
These profiles were extracted from modem.img from POCO F3 firmware 13.0.7.0 SKHEUXM, not sure how it works with other global/indian/chinese versions, all profiles available are here:

Hi, I tested it only on Win10. Not sure whether there are drivers or PDC working on W11.

I needed to turn off secure boot and turn off driver verification. The driver is installed Windows just doesn't trust it.

Thanks for this guide, it worked for me with windows 11. However when I tried to use this guide on my F2 pro it didn.t work, same driver problem as for the rest of people in this thread who is on w 11. Little weird. Did anyone on w 10 try multiple times? Thinking of downgrading to w 10 if thats the case. I like to change roms quite often
Thank you for the information
After many hours of testing both w10, w11, fw, roms I finally got my F2 pro working with volte. It seems that it has nothing to do with windows or drivers but encryption on the phone. Almost all roms on F2 pro are decrypted therefor the hassle. When I tried the latest Spark who has encryption it connected to the modem. After I got volte going I could flash the same fw and and the rom that I wanted which is decrypted and volte was still going.

Same issue here, were you able to solve it?
Hello, first off thank you for this cause every other forums regarding activating volte/vowifi using qpst, pdc on other devices looks complex thankfully it doesn't seem to be the case for poco f3. Anyways there's also another method which is just similar to this(switching to another mbn profile) but using only through the dialer(mbn config test). See steps here. Also with great success with my f3(xiaomi.eu rom) both having volte/vowifi already. BUT whenever I connect to a 5G SA(standalone) network, calls won't work(as vonr still hasn't been implemented here in my country). Still calls should still work regardless cause it will drop to 4G for volte but that doesn't seem to be the case for me.
So TLDR; has anyone had success after following these steps (can still call even on 5G network)? And if so what profile did you choose?
Or has anyone have the same problem as me and solved it? (Also which profile selected)
Thanks!!!

yes . i had provided my AOSP Rom developer the commit that enable volte and Vowi for my country . it works now and i do not have to do anything.
I always use this module to activate VoLTE, most of the time it works flawlessly. Just that u'll need root rights

Chinese user here.News said that the global version is being tested and Xiaomi 13 series will be launched globally within a month or two.So global rom is likely to be available by that time.

You can share all information that you know here like how to install it from where to download it etc.
Well at the moment I can share information but not the build, since it's not internally approved yet.
Approval is supposed to be received by end of this week and in a moth commercial launch should begin.
For EU (and I guess also GLOBAL) there are no big changes between Android 12 / MUI 13 and Android 13 / MUI 14: as usual XIAOMI for EU leaves out most of the advanced features of the China MIUI, plus some Android featutres are totally ignore (like the nw themed icons).
In addition form a GUI point of view, MIUI 14 till has some glitches:
Icons in noritifications are not color on color
{

}
like it was on MIUI 13 (reference phone for MIUI 13 and Android 12 is Xiaomi 12 PRO)
The strange thing here is that the icon appear bad only when notification is compacted, while when expanded it look ok:
Some texts are not nicely aligned (example below is for alarm snoozing)
You can also tell from the SIM choosing, in MIUI 14 the SIM number is not properly cenetred
like it was on MIUI 13
And few more misalignemts or word-wrapping are present.
I believe that, besides the icon issue, the main text glitches are due to the fact that (looking at dev option) the SMALLEST WIDTH (i.e. the PPI) in MIUI 14 is set to 388dp instead of 411: why I don't know.
Thanks for information, so, Can I ask how is Google Voice Assistant works well on EU rom?

Thanks for your quick reply. Any chance you try android wear? and Gpay?
Gpay won't work cause bootloader unlocked.
Root the phone and use Magisk modules or install a Xiaomi Eu rom.

wear should work.
gpay and most banking apps are not working, you have to root & safety net patch to make it work.

Thanks for detailed answer. I m thinking of buying it from a well known Chinese shop that will ship it with installed Global Rom on it. If I understand correctly I will have to apply the Bypass safetynet procedure you indicated above to get Banking apps to work. correct?
