Chinese user here.News said that the global version is being tested and Xiaomi 13 series will be launched globally within a month or two.So global rom is likely to be available by that time.

Well at the moment I can share information but not the build, since it's not internally approved yet.
Approval is supposed to be received by end of this week and in a moth commercial launch should begin.
For EU (and I guess also GLOBAL) there are no big changes between Android 12 / MUI 13 and Android 13 / MUI 14: as usual XIAOMI for EU leaves out most of the advanced features of the China MIUI, plus some Android featutres are totally ignore (like the nw themed icons).
In addition form a GUI point of view, MIUI 14 till has some glitches:

I believe that, besides the icon issue, the main text glitches are due to the fact that (looking at dev option) the SMALLEST WIDTH (i.e. the PPI) in MIUI 14 is set to 388dp instead of 411: why I don't know.

I wanted to flash to eu global because android auto on miui china doesn't work. If use root. Some banking app doesn't work even with hiding feature turned on

If phone is rooted, bank apps and Google pay does not work.
If phone is not rooted but bootloader is unlocked, Google pay does not work (unless you have xiaomi.eu)

Thanks for detailed answer. I m thinking of buying it from a well known Chinese shop that will ship it with installed Global Rom on it. If I understand correctly I will have to apply the Bypass safetynet procedure you indicated above to get Banking apps to work. correct?

What is MIUI?
MIUI is an Android-based operating system for smartphones and tablet computers developed by Chinese electronics manufacturer Xiaomi. This is a fork of the Android OS. MIUI includes various features such as theme support.
What is PORT?
MIUI is not officially available for Mi A2 Lite because Mi A2 Lite is part of the Android One program.

My current question is about AptX HD codec compatibility. Is the specific library included in these ports ? For the moment, it seems as if I just can use AptX codec owing to 'Bluetooth stack audio bitrate changer for SBC + aptX & aptX-HD enabler' Magisk module.

For me it seems like the AvengerMIUI is the same as MIUI EU 11.0.5.0, the only difference is that it has the new UI design.
I'm on android version 10 V11.0.4.0 PDLMIXM, does the installation of this MIUI work? Thank you.

Yes, so far didn't encounter any bugs.(only have it installed since yesterday tho)

The problem was Magisk 20.4. Uninstall and its ok now

I have some things to say
1 - I've installed the 11.0.7 and the fingerprint registration does not working , i mean the phone is not able to save a fingerprint like in 11.0.5 Avenger where it works perfectly.
2 - I've installed the dragonheart kernel and it works fine, but i would like to know if you have the stock kernel? in case that i want to go back to the full stock version of my phone.
3 - As MIUI 12 will be available for Redmi 6 pro, will you make the port for A2 Lite?????

Hello! It's been a long time since I don´t install a ROM on a smartphone (The last one was the Moto G original in 2015) and, I have a question about installing this port. Is there a procedure for going back to the stock Android One version 10 V11.0.4.0 PDLMIXM, if there is any problem or I don't like MIUI's interface? Sorry for a basic question, but I´m a little rusty in what a ROMs concerns.

On some mi forums when flashing a port MIUI rom, there's a file named DISABLE.FORCE.ENCRYTION to be flashed also. Is it really necessary to flash this file? Does it make a difference on something? Its ok now i found it, but got an issue with the galery app it bugs even after a wipe (note: i had the same with gmail i uninstall it and reinstall it and its worked)
Still have a problem with my gallery app when asked for sd permission it blocks and di cant switch camera saving location to sd, any help!!?

No, you only get the updates if the maintainer manually updates the port. Official Miui ROM doesn't gets major updates that often tho. Usually they push updates around after 3 months, but they update the system apps almost every week. Miui has a separate app updating system in the settings.(I have another xiaomi phone with Miui)
But the ported ROM doesn't have that feature built in if I'm correct. Anyways in my opinion it is still much better than the stock Android 10 ROM.
AvengerHood's port is very nice but I have terrible problems with battery drain when I keep dual SIMs inserted. Even with the DH kernel. Phone gets hot and the battery drain is more than 15% per hour.
ScaryMen's port is not as up-to-date but it must be the most stable of all custom ROMs I have tried so far. The problem most seem to share is issues with Bluetooth with ringtones not routing to connected headset. With this ROM this works perfectly.

Sorry, can't say as I need both SIMs active. It may that it gets stuck trying to activate the second SIM for Xiaomi Cloud. It's a roaming SIM.
An update to ScaryMen's port: it does suffer from the same problem as Oreo and Pie stock for the Mi A2 Lite: memory card sometimes gets unmounted during sleep. I will try flashing Ahmed Hady's pure CAF kernel to see if it fixes this as it solves the problem with stock A1 ROMs.
Huawei has finally begun the rollout of EMUI 11 for the Huawei P30 (ELE) and P30 Pro (VOG) today. The version is 11.0.0.138 and the package size is about 1.81 GB.
How to check for the update:
1. go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, select Check for updates
2. open the Support app, go to the Service tab on the bottom bar, tap on the update, then select Check for updates and then download and install
3. connect to a PC with a USB cable and check for updates in HiSuite
Feel free to share your experience with EMUI 11, please also share the exact type of your device (e.g. ELE-L29 C431E27R2P5) and how did you manage to update to EMUI 11, also mention from which build did you update.
In case the download method or updating with HiSuite proxy will be available, also share a how-to and I kindly ask you to perform a SafetyNet test.
I used VPN and chose China, then set the region of my phone to Nepal yesterday. The Support app found 10.1.0.201 with this trick. Then today, about an hour ago I checked the Support app again and it finally offered me to update to EMUI 11. Hooray!

It is only anything newer than the p30 series that cannot use google apps. Nothing is going to suddenly change on your phone.

They didn't, that was my point. It's only newer devices that are without Google services.
I just got my P30 (ELE-L29 UK Unlocked) updated to EMUI11, updated to the January security update, then enabled my VPN with china selected then checked for updated in the support app.
Also a sidenote, this is EMUI11 but it's still android 10, and good gesture navigation is still not working with Nova launcher
Edit: Now fails safetynet, so no google pay for now....

How come that your phone failed the safetynet test if you updated via OTA? I'm on 11.0.0.138(C431E8R2P3) and it passes the test and Google Pay works fine.
I believe that gesture navigation will not work perfectly if you use a third-party launcher. I use Evie launcher and I also had to install MyGesture app from Play Store. I like it better than the stock gestures, more customizable.

I have no idea, I did a backup with hisuite, factory reset with recovery mode and now it passess, so it might have been a bug or one-off or something ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yesterday my phone received the EMUI 11 update (build 11.0.0.138), no need to do any trick. Model ELE-L29, unlocked, Spain.
Since the upgrade, VoLTE was enabled (it was off before the update) and the option to disable VoLTE is no longer available on the settings menu.
Anyone with the same issue? Any way to disable VoLTE using call codes or something else?

I do not know where you are friends but I also have the ELE-L04 that comes with the Telcel bloatware and unfortunately I continue with EMUI 10.1 with the October update

That hasn't worked since OxygenOS11 on both the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 9 Pro, I submitted it as a bug for both, never been fixed.

Not really true imho, i have op9 pro and that option always worked well with android 11 until tonight when i updated to ob1.
Does magisk work with this beta?
For me Ob1 works .
Oxygen contacts, phone not working on Android 12. I miss it for "Rise the phone to answer a call" gesture.
Also missing the option to restart to recovery (not in developer mode neither). I wanted to wipe cache in recovery.
For the first time since OnePlus 8 Pro & now on 9 Pro i got 5g on settings. See screenshot.
In camera app xPan is moved to Settings.

In ob1 recovery no wipe cache present. Turn of your phone and press volume down and power for reboot. Uniquely wipe date present
Anybody manage to access engineer mode on this version? Dialer codes no longer exist and its using a different app now. Cant launch from shortcut master anymore either.

*#899# will open it, but it's encrypted and most functions are locked.
Now it requires login to OPPO server for decryption (allawnos.com... interesting name, isn't it?)

I think in android 12 there is no more that option
Anyone know if I install open beta version and then stable is released, do I have to rollback to 12 stable (wiping data), or will that just be a regular update?

Thats not the menu i need. Im looking to change bandmode and RAT lock.
I installed the Beta 1, however, I also have Visible wireless, a Verizon MVNO.
I had to go back to Android 11 because of no cell service.
Is this a common issue? I didn't see anywhere that Verizon won't work on Beta 1.
What I saw looked nice on Beta 1 hopefully a fix comes along.
Verizon in my area gives the best coverage TMO & AT&T are only ok.
This beta is not worth installing it is a waste of time, too many bugs. It is better to wait for a stable version.

The Bad: Notification badges on status bar are bugged they don't showup specifically AFWall Firewall Service and Outlook.
Brave Browser doesn't open.
Closing all apps at once is buggy results in unexpected behavior.
Stock Camera app doesn't open have to install Gcam Instead.
Other than those issues it's fine for daily use.

Literally none of those happen on my phone. I'd recommend you factory reset and test again. The only issue I've had so far is this morning when my alarm went off I didn't get the pop-up to dismiss / snooze it and had to restart my phone. Everything else is working as expected

It's in locked menu, so unfortunately no way to use for now...

Bank apps are working. Revolut works, but google wallet play store does not appear, maybe it is not available in my country.

Thank you for quick answer. For me it is important that banking apps work like Revolut or from my local bank. Not working NFC for now isn't issue, but I'm sure that would be fixed when Xiaomi releases official ROM to Joyeuse users (Curtana users don't have NFC)

I have a xiaomi redmi note 9s unlocked bootloader.. I installed xiaomi myself. 12.2.5.6 0 with android 11 with orange fox recovery for android 11.
I updated to orange fox recovery for android 12 (according to the above specifications left by you...).. I did the installation cleanly (following the above instructions left by you)..
But unfortunately it remains stuck in the bootloop (picture with Resmi) - I waited 25-30 minutes and no change... it doesn't boot with the MIUI logo - like it is with xiaomi 12.5.6 0 with Android 11... Some tips they would be welcome at your place - maybe I'm wrong...

Format data by typing yes and reboot and then check

Not a bug. Sim activation deleted. Because every reboot, it sends sms abroad, which causes high billing.

I didn't see the Control Center design yet but I agree that seems to be the same main interface. Let's check if it's fastest and less buggy now.
EDITED: Change log of MIUI 14 (annex)
Due to death of Jiang Zemin, most of the launch events are postpone in china. Xiaomi 13 Series launch are postponed now.
To be confirmed if MIUI 14 launch will be postponed also... probably.

Not exactly. The new MIUI 14 now has some fine details like animated Super Icons on the Home Screen.
