Hey there,
I have started using this ROM for a while and the Combination of this ROM and the Kernel is great!
The ROM I am talking is AOSiP. Though this ROM is Unofficial and quite old, the developer i.e. ankit99 {https://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=4924861} has done a fabulous job in maintaining the stability and functionality of this ROM while keeping Bugs minimum!
The Kernel I am talking about is called Jaguar Kernel. If you are in the development of ZUK Z2 Plus, Jaguar ROM is hard to resist due to its mind blowing stability. This Kernel is derived from the very same ROM. Probably the best Kernel I am working with. Dark Moon and Heliox are great without any doubt, just they never worked great for me on any ROM.
Instructions:
1. Take a Nandroid backup first. In case anything goes wrong, you should have some back point to restore.
2. Wipe Dalvik Cache, Cache, Data & System. I recommend deleting Android folder from Internal Storage (sdcard) from TWRP File Manager.
3. Flash the ROM, Gapps (Use 7.1 & 64-bit ones, for Z2 Plus).
4. Flash the Kernel at the last and wipe Cache/Dalvik and reboot!
5. Note, First boot will take some time.
6. Post features, I recommend dpi as 380 to be ideal for Z2 Plus.
Enjoy your Android Experience!

Thank You!

Regarding Fingerprint Scanner, it works simply great! It responds almost 99% of the times and quite fast even more than stock ROM according to my experience. And the fact you say about no notification issue, there is an Option to automatically enable DND during calls in this ROM and it disables immediately after call is hung. So, you should not encounter such issues practically. I am using this ROM for a while now and really in Love with its stability. Go for it!:good:
I have attached a screen shot regarding the Auto DND during call option.

No man, as long I have used custom ROMs, this feature is toggleable in this ROM itself!
Im running PureFusionOS + Jaguar Kernel for about 2 months now, and the feature set + stability from it is perfect. I would wish that PureFusion could have better performance/battery efficiency though
I've justobought this phone. Do you recommend me to flash this rom+Kernel as my first daily driver? Or should I go with aex4.5?

I would recommend this ROM for your daily driver as it is a mix balanced performance and battery life, providing almost stock Android with lots of customizations! Also, a MIUI camera flash would be the icing on the cake.:good:

How it is compared to AEX 4.4? Does it have camera blobs from zui stock nougat? GPS, wifi hotspot?
Fingerprint, slowmotion videos?
If anyone else has these answers please reply.
After days of deciding..
Yes!! i have risked my device warranty for the sake of fun and excitement. HAHA LOL
For those who asked if we can flash Treble GSI (Generic System Image) on our device. The answer is Yes, FOR ME AT LEAST!
No complicated steps or whatsoever.
I just followed the steps from this link and downloaded the GSI of my choice. CREDITS TO ALL THE DEVELOPERS WHO WORKED FOR THIS PROJECT.
https://www.xda-developers.com/flash-generic-system-image-project-treble-device/
TRY THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK! I will not be held accountable to whatever happens to your device. This post is just to prove that indeed our device is treble enabled.
Some important things to note:
- You have backup of your data
- You have a working ADB
- There might be functionalities that is not working at the moment (Read the changelogs of your GSI choice before downloading)
- The notch looks bad on these builds (Android P might be able to fix this when it arrives)
- Your device should be in stock ROM (no heavy modifications such as xposed , magisk etc..) ROOT Not needed
- You should put your device on factory reset before trying this.
I have attached some screenshots of my test.

Excellent job. Thank you. I understand the camera is basic, but how is image quality? Looking forward to Google Camera port tests. And perhaps the ZE620KL fully ported so can make use of the landscape camera. Not a huge deal, but would be nice, no?
As visible on screenshot, Asus Camera is properly visible in the launcher (because of being put to vendor by Asus), but does it run well?
Hi, all!
Simple instruction how to install AOSP rom. Plus overview and feedback, i hope)
First, you need:
1.1. basic knowledge how to using ADB, fastboot and recovery
1.2. clean flashed 9.6.11.0 stock rom
Files:
2.1. TWRP for daisy (official or patched by me for external SD-card and UTF-8 support)
2.2. GSI v110 AOSP rom for arm64-ab (gapps and vanilla variants tested by me)
2.3. attachments
Procedure:
3.1. format you DATA with recovery (!CAUTION! all files from internal storage will lost!)
3.2 on the PC unpack *.xz rom archive to system.img with 7-Zip archivator
3.2. connect phone to PC and go to bootloader mode
3.3. flash unpacked rom image:
fastboot flash system system.img
3.4. when done, run TWRP:
fastboot boot twrp-3.2.3-0-daisy.img
/or fastboot boot twrp-3.2.3-0-daisy_zero.img/
3.5. in TWRP mount /vendor partition and run on the PC (this fix for disable ForceEncryption):
adb push fstab.qcom.txt /vendor/etc/fstab.qcom
3.6. in TWRP mount /system partition and run adb:
adb push uinput-goodix.kl.txt /system/system/usr/keylayout/uinput-goodix.kl
this fix tuning fingerprint gestures: swipe from left2right is "paste-text-from-buffer", swipe from up2down is "wakeup-screen"
3.7. unmount partitions and reboot to system from TWRP. all done!!!:fingers-crossed:
.
Overview of ROM is here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=78744887&postcount=1481
one bug is founded - camera not worked in DnD mode
add: phhusson gave quick fix for camera in DnD mode!
just do it:
adb root
...(...wait 1-2sec...)...
adb shell "echo audio.camerasound.force=true >> /data/local.prop"
adb shell "chmod 0600 /data/local.prop"
then restart phone))

With all due respect, no one should flash GSI roms. No matter how cool it is, they are unoptimized and don't receive any updates. I was on a GSI rom for the longest time and never once was it updated. Which means you'll be behind on security patches, which unfortunately, is rather important.
Project Treble is a failure. Good tutorial for those willing to risk it tho.

So, if you don't care about security updates it's a win?
The only reason people search for other roms is because of the features they have.
Also, good maintainers update their roms weekly (or daily for betas)

Yeah, keep doing this!
I used havoc for a long time, but in the end bb was too bad, compared to stock. RR7 is much too laggy, and freezes and sometimes has no incall sound...
What we should do is focussing on one or two gsi's and modifying everything, sothat it will run on our device properly.
Under QA section there are many solutions for those problems. We only need to put them all together in one thread, connected to the right gsi...
I tried almost all GSI Roms and the only Rom which satisfies me is the PixelDust for Daisy. Only the notch isn't perfect but that's not so important.
The Stock Roms are a now go for me, I can't even swap the nav buttons and I don't care about security updates at all.

It depends on the camera app that you are using. I'm not a fan of the stock camera app so I'm using Gcam which in my opinion is the best option.

You need to have a stock Android 10 vendor on both slots(A&B) of your phone. You can do this by installing the stock Android 10 ROM for Mi A3. Just search on how to do it so you can have a full instructions and information.

In terms of general quality, I would say that any version of GCam is better than the stock camera; BUT, if you need the resources of the Pro Mode, so the stock camera is better specially for long exposure photograph.
Here on my CrDroid 6.6 I installed via TWRP the orignial camera via this link. But, I do have here GCam version that permits-me to shoot in RAW mode =)

If you're talking about Bluetooth speaker/headphone audio quality, I can't tell you that for now because I have no Bluetooth devices rn. But for the speaker, I would say it's pretty much the same. I'm on EvoX rn (and about to try another custom ROM) and I didn't have any problem about the audio quality.
Can it be the best rom for this phone? Now I have Pixel Experience, but it has too many bugs.
Try corvus 8.0. seems good to me.
i've tried panadroid, bliss, aosp extended, xiaomi eu weekly, colt, ressurection remix, corvus, havoc, crdroid, superior os
the best for me is unoffical bliss by bezke for better battery usage, ressurection remix for performance, aosp extended for ram management
I tried download Bliss, but was imposible. Always the link failed. I will try to download it again.
I will read something about corvus too.
Tried all so far. None were 100% to my liking. Always something wrong:
- no bokeh mode in portrait camera
- bad battery life
- no smooth scrolling (e.g. Chrome)
- bad wifi
- etc
The only ROM I can recommend (I'm using it) is MiuiMix. Based on MIUI(EU) with a few tweaks.
MiuiMiX_2.0_ginkgo_20.3.26_v11-9 Download: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=4349826312261756420

I hope you can tell us some more about the specific non Miui rom's.
I was hoping Paranoid (CAF) should be running fine.

Tried all so far. None were 100% to my liking. Always something wrong:
- no bokeh mode in portrait camera
- bad battery life
- no smooth scrolling (e.g. Chrome)
- bad wifi
- etc
The only ROM I can recommend (I'm using it) is MiuiMix. Based on MIUI(EU) with a few tweaks.
MiuiMiX_2.0_ginkgo_20.3.26_v11-9 Download: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=4349826312261756420
Also tested their good V12/A10 but I don't like MIUI12.
All MiuiMix roms here: https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=297615
Cheers

Does it still contain all the MIUI "phone home" attributes?
I try every zip that has Ginkgo name in it
AospExtended-v7.3-ginkgo = the best
good battery + ram usage = 1.3gb (out of 6gb)
SuperiorOS comes in 2nd place because ram usage is slightly higher (1.4gb)
Xtended-XQ 3rd place , same as superior but has a call log bug
i saw someone rocommand miui, r u serious ? with the built in ads and thon of bloatware ...
u drunk bro ?

Of course not. This is custom ROM based on MiuiEU.
The wifi issues are the worse for me. Pixel it has, and miui.eu (10/12) it has. Not before in miui.eu stable(9/11) but is not a smooth rom.

Thanks so can you confirm no miui Security centre or miui Gallery?
Do you know if you can degoogle and use MicroG? - sorry I don't use Telegram and cannot find out much about this rom even from the official XDA thread.

bugs reported are from v7.1 and 7.2
i'm using 7.3 for 1 months and never face anything wired
(i even installed xposed and all module are working fine, every other rom is not 100% compatible with gravitybox and other xposed modules ...)
the only feature that is missing is gesture anywhere and it would be a perfect rom
miui11 and 12 are straight piece of crap
ram usage is 2gb (out of 6gb) after many optimisation and debloating (not to mention that there are some app that can't be freezed/removed)
(my device is 6/128 and i don't use gapps)

what do you mean "no miui Security centre" ?
you freez or disable that app and your device will not boot
that is a core componant of miui roms

I am well aware of that on stock miui thanks.
This question was about MiuiMix supposedly a custom rom without all the "phoning home" etc according to the poster I quoted ( @tweakradje ) so I was looking for confirmation from him since he is using it.
