What do you mean by "original configuration" ?
Which head unit manufacturer is it ?

I may not be of any help now because I have flashed Malaysk May rom a few days after I received my unit.
I hope we can help each other in the future.
I'm, also, trying to findout WHAT and WHO is MTCB-ZD9-V2.72 ??? Was expecting KGL-790 for a BMW E90.

It doesnt matter that you have flashed Malaysk's ROM - I think hes talking about the buttons when he says "configuration" which is MCU controlled not Android. But you still cant help as its not possible to get a copy of the MCU software from a unit.
"ZD9" units have been appearing recently, we dont know the name of the company yet (we may never), but its not that important as long as copies of MCU updates become available, check Malaysk's MCU thread. None there yet.

I've installed an android system in my car (Toyota Yaris)
I'm searching for the Car factory setting code to open the setting for personal setting
I tried " 126 " but it's a four figures code.
I don't know which brand it is.. I found some numbers here but nothing happen, nothing is working :crying:
I took pictures if something can help you about the machine but i can't publish them yet but i've links.

Developper mode asked password
My Honda Civic 2016 (Canadian version) asked me a password to activate the Developper mode. Any one here had the same issue, i have done a complete reset of the system to default and still the same things.
To be clear, after tapping 7 time on Build number, the popup appeared.
My Android Version is 4.2.2 Build: 1.F186.67 and Model number: MY16ADA
Pls help !!

Got the same car. And same issue.
Funny enough the Developer Mode prompt for a passcord. Probably a typo I guess.
Anyway have you found a way to enable it?

For me the same.... I Have a PX30 and i'd love to have Malaysk.... Pls

I dont thing developers give a **** about px30
PX5 is more powerful and more expesive.

Also PX5 HU gives more feedbacks bacause many people own the headunit
Maybe they will turn the page with px6... who knows...

I hope to have firmware for the PX30 soon, and when I have a device (the Chinese promise 9 android for these devices)

in the past there was a kind of collecting action to buy a new headunit for our nice guy malay, if you guys want also want to start such a collecting action for the good guy malay so that he can and will make a very good working rom for yours newer version px30 it will be to beautiful for yours px30 guys?
Malay.. he earns/deserve every collecting cent that is for 100% sure!

I have a bunch of Questions.
I read many Threads so I become an idea.
On this Thread they explained:
MTCE is a software upgrade for MTCD, so they are identical in terms of hardware.
So, on this Site you can download some Firmware for the PX30.
Is there any Possibility to update my Unit with this firmware, or even better ca I see this Firmware on a Windows VM-Android Setup how it looks like and test it?

Yes, everything is correct android you can install any one from here - https://yadi.sk/d/umCvHqCDzHccr/RockChip PX30 Android 8.1 . MCU only for LM from here - https://yadi.sk/d/umCvHqCDzHccr/RockChip PX30 Android 8.1/LM
But your MCU is newer than 3.06-1, and there 3.01. You do not need to update the MCU

OK, thx for the info. The Link you´r sending are the same isn´t it?
So for me to understand, i downloaded the Rockchip PX30 8.1 File
In the Zip Archive i have only to put the update.zip in a USB or in the GPS-Slot and update my HU.....right?
So before i flash anything on my HU, is it possible to backup my Firmware? i don´t found any Firmware from my Unit and the Re-seller can not give me any Data to revert back to the Stock Firmware of the HU.

These Toyota ones are Witson MX. Quite a few users here are customers of the Iceboxauto seller.

Yes, on my Post I wrote, there’s a link for the 9.0 Software, but it is only for the GS MCU-Type.
I think it is very important not to flash a wrong McU type. I think the Device wont boot.

Hi, I have a 4gb ram 64gb rom Vanku px6 android 10 car stereo with mcu mtce_ht version 3.53 from may 2020.
Anyone know if it is possible to upgrade the MCU to a newer version? Thanks

It seems that I bought the same thing.
Sorry I can not help you, but another question:
Were you able to enter developer mode and enable USB debugging?
I want to enter some adb commands but I can't connect via USB.
And if someone can help with the above mentioned upgrade, I would also be very grateful ;-)

Ah bummer. I've tried a few versions.. one stops at activating (zlink), and the others install but then give me this error. Very disappointed if my head unit won't support Carplay, as I love it otherwise.

It's an odd ball "random" chinese origin unit. It's not MTCx type.

I have the same problem. Is there anyone to help?
