Description:
It is an CARBON-CR-5.1-based ROM for Xperia Z1 with some Sony Official Sources.. Topic on xda (the author no longer uploads new versions on xda).
My build is purged of chinese programs. Also I made some translations and improvements.

- Service menu (*#*#7378423#*#*). Is not completely working.
- There is one more service-menu *#*#4636#*#*. Checked - works and really switches modes. Just do not press "Select radio station" -> "USA". Otherwise you will have to reflash the modem-part of ROM.
- Ability to kernel selection during installation: Basic/LOS. LOS kernel is: slightly more smooth interface due to the "Disable overlay fix", and slightly lower power consumption. Probably something else

Instructions:
1. Unblock BL and flash real-recovery (TWRP):
- Download to PC file with TWRP (for example) twrp.img.
- On your phone, enter in the fastboot mode: Turn off the phone, hold the volume up, connect the usb cable, the indicator should turn blue.
- On the PC, open a command prompt and run the command: fastboot flash recovery C:\file_path\twrp.img
2. Make wipes: data, cache, system
3. Flash archive zip with ROM.
4. Gapps and SuperSU already embedded in the archive and are selecting to install.
5. Reboot
Bugs/Issues:
Usual for all Nougat for z1c:
- Not working AndroidPay through NFC.
- Sony Camera face/smile recognition is invalid
- Can't create SIM-Contacts/Import contacts to SIM
Other:
- Sony theme function is not normal
- Standard screen-recording app sometimes causes stuck. Similar programs are OK.
- Changing time zone causes reboot
- Google account settings don't work
- Standard call recording don't work
- Looks like "OK Google" voice search does not work
- The two upper STAMINA modes do not receive notification from social networks apps, even when adding a app to an exception
- During saving changes in the white balance in the settings, it will force close, but the changes will saved until you reopen it
There were mentions about:
- Auto-switching to 4g, while "only 3g" (probably switching only visual, but not real)
- Wifi and mobile signal worse approx by 10% than on stock ROM.
- There are problems with FM radio. You can listen to either stereo at a fixed volume, or mono, but with a working controller. We need to fix the mixer_paths file.
Probably don't work/work inproperly. Need testing:

Doesn't have built-in FM-radio, but it works fine through another app.

Don't know if you saw posts on other M-ROM threads, but there was a strange issue in 2.3 and 2.3
1, where the rom wouldn't boot without SuperSU. No matter if you flashed original unmodified boot img or if you tried to flash different superuser, always bootloop, unless SuperSU modified boot img was there. Personally I don't like SuperSU, and I felt a little sketchy that it was like that...
Is SuperSU included in Aroma, and did you test without it, and confirm that it boots? Thanks

I didn't read those threads, version 2.4 is the first one, where there is support for z1c.
I confirm that we have bootloops without SuperSU or with another root manager.
Have you tried install another version of supersu?
P.S.: I will try make z3c version, but probably some things can not be done, because I do not have z3c.

This was to be expected. Double-tap is not possible at the hardware level. Apparently the author was simply too lazy to remove the item from the menu.

It would be possible to add a gesture to wake something like that and boot logo seems to large to fit in bottom of the screen

Hey! I really like this rom, I've been waiting for a rom like this. The only thing is not working(at least for me) the sim card.The phone boots up(btw for me the boot logo,not the animation, is messed up.) It boots, and then asks for the sim card pin. After I write in ,it freezes, and it restarts. (it doesn't even put me in the setup guide)Without the SIM card, the rom is working perfectly fine. Please help! I really like that rom!

In which country do you use the phone?

Hi. I installed [M-ROM] [7.1] v2.4.0 [amami] [Nougat 7.1.2] and I'm testing the third day. I really like the software, as if I got a new phone, for which I thank you very much. There are small bugs, they are not very significant, except for one: when connected to a computer via a USB cable, it does not see it. Charged, yes. Only the phone memory is visible if the phone is switched to TWRT?! Also there are no themes installed. In terms of productivity, ANTUTU is gaining 53.535?

It works for me. I clicked on the item in the notification menu and chose "Transfer File".

Rom contain OMC from latest s8 firmware,so if your operator/country support volte it should be enable,regarding wifi call the apk it's not present in the NfeSuperleggeraSemiDeoV1 base rom,but you can get it installing the FullStockAddonNfeSuperleggeraSemiDeo,or better, copying "UnifiedWFC" folder(and apk) in system/app giving him the right permission.
...probably in the next days i'll start uploading some add-on to enable further functions. :good:

stable in s7 flat G930f , without major bugs, Smart View will not connect but it is fixed with the line in the build prop, Gallery is not attached to samsung items but everything is fine, phone model, no major errors, excellent work .... I will use the rom for day to day ... Thanks fluid and stable until the moment ....

In my case Smart View works as it should so i can't tell about it,Gallery: as i said in NfeSuperleggeraSemiDeoV1.zip i've used a Quickpic modded version (and modded camera app to open it as default) because the stock samsung gallery needs many other apks to be fully functional (therefore contradicting the Superleggera's philosophy) but if you need it you can always download it from Samsung/Play store or extract the apk from "FullStockAddonNfeSuperleggeraSemiDeo".
Obviously this is not needed for the ones who had installed "FullStockAddonNfeSuperleggeraSemiDeo".
Regarding phone model name i could change it but possibly it may break some functions.

...uhm..probably korean firmware not fully support languages as international one..but don't worry i'll check if there is a way to bypass the problem.

INSTALLATION STEPS​
Enter to recovery Mode and flash OrangeFox Recovery R11.0. IT IS OBLIGATORY, other recovery can cause problems with AROMA.

After reboot, install “AstrakoRepartition-for-Klaxosaur” and wait for the automatic reboot.
Go to wipe tab, then go to Format Data, type yes and then press the tick on the keyboard.
Go back to Wipe tab and select CACHE, SYSTEM, VENDOR, then swipe the bar.
Now go to the Folder icon, then search for the Klaxosaur-by-Gonic_v1-Q_j7xelte-j7velte.zip file and flash it
Select your language
Select your device model
Now select some apps and features that you want to be installed.
Install Magisk zip file
Now, reboot and wait 5 minutes for the first boot
When setup Google things, DISABLE ENHANCED LOCATION SETTING
At finish the setup, go to Magisk app and enable Magisk Hide option on the settings

I want VoLTE
So, if you want VoLTE, select “VoLTE Related” on Aroma installer. Remember to insert your SIM Card after install. At first boot, a message will ask you to perform a factory reset to apply new customer settings. Tap it and wait. After some minutes it will show the start screen other time.
Problems & solutions​Wi-Fi very slow
When BT is turned on by some app, Google Location or other, the Wi-Fi will decrease the speed.
You can “patch” it making the Bluetooth more instable flashing this zip: https://bit.ly/3mEg0qp
ONLY FLASH IT IF YOU HAVE SEVERAL PROBLEMS WITH WIFI, if you do a Speedtest.net and have your real Wi-Fi speed it means all is working fine and this fix isn’t needed.
Samsung Camera app isn’t working
Go to Settings > Display and disable the “Adaptive Brightness” feature and done!
Message from SIM Services that ask for a Reboot
This message appears only if you selected VoLTE Related feature in AROMA installer. To solve, you can reinstall the ROM without wiping anything and without select VoLTE function.

Yes, I said that fix was not necessary, its only if you have problems with your WiFi. Reflash the ROM and use it without the fix!

It's disabled by default to save more RAM. If you want these bar, move the content of the attached zip to /system/priv-app with MiXplorer, then reboot the phone and done!

Use stock kernal may be you have flashed another kernal..i was also facing this problem coz i had flased another kernal bt i reflashed the rom and its fixed .

Im not expecting many rooters at the moment as a result of this camera issue admittedly but ported my rom over as i was bored

I spent about 7 hours yesterday rummaging through the open source kernel files for our device looking for things. Found the name of the camera, and camera driver files, but hadn't found disabling code pointing to it yet. Still have tons of code to sort through. Stopped when my head started hurting and decided to get drunk last night. Still trying to wake up lol

Hi mate! Yep very long time! Been on Sammy for a few years now ta for the kind words mate and hoping to support flip too. That's If the software is similar (which it will bw)
AFAIK twrp is in the making too
I cannot see any reason why we shouldn't support the flip soon.

Yep unfortunately this will break know so Samsung pay won't work. AFAIK secure folder is now from a11 onwards (unless I have mixed that up with something else lol)

You not in fastboot mode. After reboot in bootloader you do fastboot reboot fastboot before flash.
Check install.txt file for manual order.

Thanks for all the work and time it's wonderful.
I have a couple problems I have been reaching and unable to fix them.
My phone is a OPO nord n10 5g unlocked. I had no problem installing the ROM. Since day one my 5g will not work only 3g on the T-Mobile network. I have fixed this problem in the past with not much problem, been weeks and still no fix. Every time I try to change the APN and reboot the phone switches back the APN she was set to during the setup and still on super slow 3g.
Do you know the T-Mobile 5g APN for the Tampa FL area I don't thinkit makes a difference.
2. Since the install of your ROM the when I open most apps microG like magic earth and other apps I get a microG core error and if I type to the side the app king of works guidance kept the vocals going but the visual was frozen. Any way fix this maybe update microG. I also have Vanced YouTube instaled with microG not sure if this will cause a problem.

My phone is a OPO nord n10 5g unlocked. I had no problem installing the ROM. Since day one my 5g will not work only 3g on the T-Mobile network. I have fixed this problem in the past with not much problem, been weeks and still no fix. Every time I try to change the APN and reboot the phone switches back the APN she was set to during the setup and still on super slow 3g.
Do you know the T-Mobile 5g APN for the Tampa FL area I don't thinkit makes a difference.
2. Since the install of your ROM the when I open most apps microG like magic earth and other apps I get a microG core error and if I type to the side the app king of works guidance kept the vocals going but the visual was frozen. Any way fix this maybe update microG. I also have Vanced YouTube instaled with microG not sure if this will cause a problem.

You need update microg. Drop what version you have in private message and I give you link to different microg. For T-Mobile if I recall right they have some apps installed on stock that control apn. don't have T-Mobile version to look at it. Also check if there is imssettings apk.It shoud be in product I guess. If not try to install it.
