If you look at the header and think is is already there ... sorry. But I think we should have a good chance to build it. It is a well supported SoC Snapdragon 622.
Some things that are required are available:
- bootload unlocking
- custom recovery (TWRP / OF)
- kernel sources (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/xiaomi-has-released-poco-m3-kernel.4205133/)
With that it should be possible to cook something:

Sure, that could be first step. Let us see how well treble is implemented.

How did you flash the system.img? I believe you need to restart on fastboot, use the command "fastboot reboot fastboot" and only then "fastboot flash system system.img"
Anyone who has unlocked the bootloader but does not want to format the current Android installation to test a GSI, can test it using DSU first

Should be noted that there is still a bluetooth bug in this version, but I'm sure it'll get fixed, devs know what they're doing Test and provide feedback people!
I tried this on my EU Poco M3 with 4GB RAM and 8GB flash and it failed to boot. I think it failed immediately after the bootloader so probably the kernel had some boot error while booting.
Installed LOS and it booted up and works great except for Bluetooth. Can't wait for further updates, been holding off using my M3 until now.
Works like charm for a initial build, very thx
Here my way to got it running:
1. Unlock Bootloader
2. Tried TWRP Fork but messed with the reboot ^^ (i was just to dump)
3. Tried OrangeFox Fork from here
4. Important! After recoveryflash via fastboot, hold down power and vol+ button until Orange Fox appears on screen (normal restart causes recovery image to get wiped out. I told you i was to dump in the first place so i didn't try TWRP again but i guess would also work)
5. Stock Rom seemed after Install dead to me, because of stuck at MIUI Logo (but maybe i did not wait long enough and i updated to 12.0.7. befor and did a factory reset)
6. OrangeFox showed that Partitions are encrypted.
7. Got Xiaomi EU Rom here (I used 12.0.4 because 12.0.6. were taken off again yesterday while i downloaded it.. lol)
8. In OrangeFox now i wiped all cache, dalvik and data (Need because of encryption) but do no restart after it (i did restart one time to see what happens to the encryption, but i had in mind i got a problem after it, so you should try without restart first)
9. Flash Xiaomi EU Rom with OrangeFox (tried to boot after flash into this rom but stuck on MIUI Logo, but maybe did not waited long enough again^^)
10. Flash LineageOS 17.1 from juve60tet and wipe caches again and reboot.
11. Working Lineage OS on Poco M3
Bugs i noted:
Bluetooth as already known
Fingerprint sensor selects Wigeds/Icons on Homescreen like when navigating with a keyboard or a controller in Android.

I'm not sure that this is the resource on which this loader is. From personal experience I can say that I tried it on my phone. Tried PitchBlack.img But it does not detect a micro sd card, and it's not about formatting the partition. On the official website https://twrp.me/ not recovery for Lisa. The one I posted works exactly.
About the twrp on lisa...
Downloaded the twrp from https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=324804 and it's the same as WizardPhoenix. Now, my lisa is global and unlocked. Other than that so far nothing additional (such as twrp, yet), except of course the ADB enablement. To install twrp to the bootloader, I followed the instructions from https://twrp.me/xiaomi/xiaomimi11lite5g.html which is from renoir (since they don't have any page ready about lisa). Of course, things could be different for lisa installation-wise.
I'm at the point after the instructions saying "fastboot boot twrp.img". I did it, it boots twrp ok from the file, I go to "Advanced > Flash Current TWRP" but it finishes with an error. I don't want to try the alternative way, since the instructions are for renoir. I suspect that the error is due to perhaps lisa has two slots (I could be wrong tho).
So any instructions to properly install twrp 3.6 to lisa on a freshly unlocked Xiaomi mi 11 5g NE?

Tried on my Lisa, TWRP does not read Internal memory (although it asked for unlock pin)
There is a SHRP thread here on XDA, SHRP recovery properly supports Internal memory and USB - highly recommend to use that SHRP for Lisa.
In the SHRP thread's OP post #1 there is a TG channel link, everybody can directly ask SHRP developer there

On mine, it seemed to read the internal memory (when in boot into TWRP, it can see everything). It just couldn't install itself. I ended up installing the custom xiaomi.eu ROM (ditching the original stock Global rom) but still I'm waiting to see what to do about TWRP.

Which version of Xiaomi.eu for Lisa?
AFAIK, they have Stable 12.5.8 or so, as Fastboot ROM (to be flashed through Fastboot)

I've got 12.5.9, went out 1-2 days ago. Indeed it's fastboot ROM, that's why I'm trying to install twrp, just to be future-proofed.
Only working recovery that decrypt internal storage successfully and has usb otg support is SHRP , it is for Android 11
My device is not reading any recovery. I'm on EU 22.3.3 version.
Tried both SHRP and Lineage Recovery but it keep getting stuck on MIUI logo, not booting into recovery. Then to boot into system again I have to flash EU fastboot ROM.

No custom Recovery supports A12 yet. That's the reason your Xiaomi.eu is Fastboot ROM, not TWRP

There are two different models (different chipsets)
- Mi 11 Lite 5G NE (Lisa)
- Mi 11 Lite 5G (Renoir)
But there is no Mi 11 Lite 5G (Lisa) - hence please make sure which model you really have.
Btw, if you flash a firmware for the wrong model, you will brick your phone

When you read the instructions on Xiaomi eu, you will see that for Lisa you have to use a particular Orange Fox custom recovery (not TWRP):
OrangeFox-R11.1_2-Unofficial-lisa.img
There is actually a dedicated thread right here, on XDA, Lisa subforum, for that Orange Fox
It properly decrypts A12 storage and it is NECESSARY to be able Xiaomi.eu recovery type either Stable or Weekly for Lisa
But again, sorry, please take a time and start reading/learning there. You will see there that you have to start by unlocking your Bootloader

In short, you will have to:
- unlock Bootloader (nothing custom could be flashed with the locked BL)
- Temporarily (one-time) boot to Orange Fox:
fastboot boot <OF IMG>
- It will boot to Orange Fox (OF), you have to type-in your Android screen unlock pin (needed to decrypt your storage)
- Navigate to the downloaded Xiaomi.eu Stable or Weekly ZIP (must be recovery type - all Weeklies for Lisa are, and only the latest Stable for Lisa is) and flash it
- Then you have to Format Data (Wiping is not enough), from OF (without, you'll have a bootloop) and then reboot to Xiaomi.eu
- Xiaomi.eu will (as part of its own installation) permanently flash Orange Fox, and in future it's upgrades will go like OTA (by use of the OF) and you will further no more need to Format Data (unless you decide to switch to a different ROM, like back to stock, switch between Stable and Weekly, etc)
Furthermore:
- Orange Fox, Sky Hawk Recovery Project and other custom recoveries (forks of TWRP) all use TWRP backend, just try to make more modern and better user-friendly UI.
If you are familiar with TWRP, you will need few minutes to investigate what new and different you see in OF or SHRP
- Official TWRP.me does not support A12 yet (does not support generally and they say that on their main page, not just particularly for Lisa), and for Lisa I don't know for any other (or better to say better) custom recovery than that OF - I tried couple of them
---
Btw, it is also not official OF for Lisa (official OF does not support A12 decryption since official TWRP does not yet either), but believe me, that OF, wherever it comes from (4pda) is good - and your only reliable choice for Lisa with the MIUI 13/A12 (even if you stay on stock MIUI but want to have 'TWRP')
Btw, there are Chinese unofficial SKKK TWRP builds for a couple of other Xiaomi devices that do support A12 (and they are needed for those Xiaomi devices when installimg Xiaomi.eu recovery type ROMs), but SKKK guys did not develop TWRP for Lisa
Btw, for Renoir (Mi 11 Lite 5G but without NE in the name), there is not known any working custom recovery for MIUI 13/A12, hence Xiaomi.eu ROMs for Renoir are all Fastboot types (they have to be unzipped and flashed from PC by using the batch scripts found in the unzipped archive)
Recovery type Xiaomi.eu ROMs do not have those bat (or alternatively sh scripts for Linux PC) and can only be flashed through the appropriate custom recoveries (those SKKK TWRPs for most devices, and OF for our Lisa)
Fastboot type Xiaomi.eu ROMs can be recognized by having the word fastboot in their long zip file name
Posts #1 in the Xiaomi.eu Forum (Stable thread and Weeklies threads) contain a table where the first column lists supported Xiaomi models and the last columb says if the ROM is Fastboot or Recovery type

Never heard of that problem. For Xiaomi.e, that is the custom recovery they flash in, nobody reported like that
You could ask in the OF thread, here on XDA, under Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE - but make sure you are on that phone (Lisa), not Renoir (without LE in the name)

I had to take the long way around lol. I was on PixelOS so that was causing the problem. I resolved it by installing the fastboot rom then flash orangefox and then flash the recovery rom . I'm on Lisa for sure
This is a temporary guide until an official XDA thread of crDroid 9 by the maintainer is out
I'm posting the latest ROM info, install method and files for the users who are crDroid fans like me

crDroid is a vanilla ROM, so there's no Gapps included
You don't have to be on OOS 13 to install the new CrDroid update as OOS 13 Framework is included
If you're on an OOS 12 or 13 based Custom ROM -> reboot to recovery -> factory reset then follow the clean flash method
The vbmeta and recovery.img files are from the payload.bin file of the ROM.zip file
The .img files are compressed into a .zip file and the tool I used to extract them are attached below
Flashing Instructions:
For flashing/getting OOS 12 in both slots:
Use Msmtool to come back on oos 11.
Download latest full zip of oos 12 from Oxygen Updater app or from OxygenOS builds XDA thread (You need to know your model number!)
Download and install the OPLocalUpdate apk from this XDA thread
Go into Settings -> system update -> local upgrade
Find the OOS 12 .zip you just downloaded from oxygen updater
Install it and reboot
Repeat steps 4 to 6 (To install OOS 12 on both slots)
Unlock bootloader
For first time install/ Clean Flash:
Have an unlocked bootloader & OOS 12 (C20 - C36) flashed to both slots.
Download ROM the file named like this: crDroidAndroid-13.0-XXXXXXXX-instantnoodlep-v9.X.zip
Download vbmeta, recovery for your device which is in the .zip file attached below
Put it in the same folder where your ADB/platform-tools files are
Reboot to bootloader
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
fastboot reboot recovery
Choose "Factory reset"
Choose "Apply update" -> "Apply from ADB"
adb sideload "crDroidAndroid-13.0-XXXXXXXX-instantnoodlep-v9.X.zip"
Reboot to recovery.
Choose "Apply update" -> "Apply from ADB"
adb sideload gapps.zip (Nikgapps basic or full recommended)
If you want to install NikGapps Addons do this
Otherwise, go to the next suggestion if you want root or just reboot to system. Up to u
Reboot to recovery
Choose "Apply update" -> "Apply from ADB"
adb sideload addons.zip
Repeat step 1 - 2 for other addons
If you want root do this
Reboot to recovery
Choose "Apply update" -> "Apply from ADB"
adb sideload magisk.zip
OR adb sideload magisk.apk
Reboot to system & Enjoy!
Otherwise, just reboot to system. Up to u
To update:
Download ROM the file named like this: crDroidAndroid-13.0-XXXXXXXX-instantnoodlep-v9.X.zip
Put it in the same folder where your ADB/platform-tools files are
Reboot to recovery
Choose "Apply update" -> "Apply from ADB"
adb sideload "crDroidAndroid-13.0-XXXXXXXX-instantnoodlep-v9.X.zip"

NikGapps Addon info:
These issues were from crDroid 8 (A12.1)
Gboard
For Gboard users, deleting text in the text suggestions tab won't work unless u install the Gboard addon. But it needs to be installed before setting ur device up
A factory reset is needed for it to work, so don't flash it if u got everything set up
GoogleSearch
For google assistant users, "hey google" will not work without installing the GoogleSearch addonas the "google app" needs to be a system app.
But supposedly on crDroid 9 this issue doesn't happen and "hey google" works without the addon

Thanks, but I'm sorry to say that I'm not the maintainer/dev for this ROM.
It's in the disclaimer as well and I cannot take any credit
All I did was create this XDA thread to share this great ROM with people who aren't aware of it
It's good to hear that u managed to install it and everything is going well for you
When official will be released?
this is also my question
crDroidAndroid-13.0-20221223-instantnoodlep-v9.0 has been posted on sourceforge.net. Will there be a separate branch for crDroidAndroid-13.0.

I am currently running Xiaomi Eu version 13.0.9 stable with twrp 3.6.2_12-pocof3_v6.3_a12.
I have issues with this build and I noticed lots of reports with latest Xiaomi EU updates having many bugs so don't really want to update.
Can I switch without data loss to official Miui? (my bank is annoying dont want to go through hassle of phoning them to re setup)
thanks in advance

Only if you flash the same version or higher.
I just ran the latest weekly and it works like a charm , your twrp should be 3.7 skkkk and you can install miui 14 recovery global through twrp but I would suggest a format and not a dirty flash since your going from a china rom to a global have funnnn!
There are 2 TWRP(SKK):
1/twrp-3.7.0_12-v7.2_A12-alioth
2/twrp-3.7.0_12-v7.2_A13-alioth
His system is currently in A12, he can continue with version 3.6.2 12 or update it to 3.7.A12 and flash an A13 recovery rom.
Or use Miflash *** and lock the bootloader, which will avoid rooting + magisk to have the playstore certified.
***Erases your data and only if not K40.

I believe that you will loose your data unless if the same ROM with similar version number is installed.
Xiaomi eu ROM does not have any deep problem. I'm on one of the latest DEV releases for sometime.
It is rooted by magisk 25.2 and recovery is TWRP skkk v. 3.7
Here are links to posts for recovery and ROM (official, not eu).

Like you want.
Won't re-lock and you will need to install TWRP A13 after flash.
I'd reckon you try a fresh install on Xiaomi.EU's latest rom first before flashing to the Global version.
Most bugs and glitches are fixed with a fresh install of Xiaomi.EU.
By fresh install I mean use XiaoMiFlash (Fastboot) to the latest official China stable rom (14.0.5.0), then wipe all via TWRP and then Fastboot flash the latest Xiaomi.EU rom (14.0.5.0).
For me; Global rom is too bloat, has too many features missing and less smooth versus Xiaomi.EU's rom.

Not much use since for a first installation you must format the data with the Twrp or use the first install.bat script included in the folder extracted from the zip.
Right, my bad. Clean install is the way to go though, Devs at Xiaomi.EU always recommended this to me versus dirty flash.
I clean flash with every major update, except from 12 to 12.5 (no Android change) with Xiaomi.EU's roms.

Yep, for the change of Miui or Android version, it is preferable to do a clean flash or mandatory in the event of a downgrade (weekly to stable).
