Main Camera Specs - Looking for Real Information

Hello everyone,
I found in wiki (Wiki: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exmor) that both of Redmi Note 5 Pro and Mi 6x/A2 used sony IMX486 as rear main camera sensor. but both camera aperture looks different:
Redmi Note 5 Pro: 12 mp, aperture 2.2,
Mi 6x/A2: 12 mp, aperture 1.75
Can some body explain how this possible? or is there wrong information about camera sensor?
Thanks

Gcam on our device (why it's so poor)

I was wondering why the development of gcam is so poor on our device? No gcam provides good results
Even more so, installing stable gcam by arnova and mhappymam patch provide really .. uh mediocre results on the front camera
Is the front camera the reason behind this? Because it's Omnivision? Although mi a1 has omnivision as as well and the front camera l, of only 5 megapixels takes superb shots!
How is this possible?
I'm talking about the Global version, by the way
Mi A1 front camera is Samsung S5K5E8 while RN5 is Omnivision OV13855.

Does Gcam really make better pictures on the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite?

My twin brother who has a Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro suggested me (I've a Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite) to use Gcam as the camera app.
But after I watched some comparison videos I'm confused because the pictures are kinda the same.
So does Gcam on the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite really make better pictures?
In my experience it depends on the situation. Gcam is usually better in low light and especially at night. Stock camera takes better/more natural photos during the day. Gcam often provides much more details in photos, which might be welcome in some situations, but for example in portrait photography it's very distracting.
All in all, if you want "point & shoot" (or use other than main lens), use stock app. If you're willing to switch back and forth, install also gcam and use it when needed.
