Why F2FS
Formatting EXT4 to F2FS
Some tips :
First of all get a nandroid backup ! (very important)
(If you are using an outdated rom which doesn't support F2FS ) Flash F2FS addon https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862719182
Only format /data and /cache to F2FS ! Do NOT format system as F2FS ! MUST not work !
Formatting /data to F2FS will wipe your internal sdcard + data like factory reset (apps , ...)
You need a twrp with F2FS support ! Download TWRP NOW !
If you want to stay on F2FS on outdated roms , reflash my kernel after rom updates , recovery flashing or any modification to the boot partition ... !
Read the things in provided link for formatting ext4 to F2FS carefully ! I am not responsible for any data loss , problem , ...

Check posts. I believe should work on 21 as used on 22 as I've noticed. Always make backup in TWRP and restore boot as needed.

That's normal. On 2.0 USB for me charging was accelerated as normal. Stock charger was same tho.

tested the kernel briefly on Unofficial RR, the UFS speeds seem to be much better than LK or Carbonite... missing the home button though flashing like crazy today, can't catch a break

@AuxXxilium as you've stated in OP home button is not usable, But mine is working fine..

I'm running latest Codeworkx build. Home button doesn't work with stock or vision kernel, but works with lightning kernel. Don't know why

Please be careful. i removed the latest version - because it crashes the dash charge. search for the problem and will fix it soon.

Every aosp base rom now is base on lineageos except some nexus devices where got aosp roms,but my kernels doesn't work with stock roms

The CrazyAqua kernel is working just fine with RR 5.8.4 on my Xiaomi Mi Note 2.

Once I get the 5.8.5 update for my device will I need to reflash this kernel or what?

@CrazyGamerGR Hello, i really like your kernel so far, has a ton of options and cool stuff to experiment with. Never less there is one feature I personally really want to see, WiFi monitor mode, could you merge the code to your superb kernel? Please, I'm really itching to be able to use pcap, airmon-ng and all these beautiful tools on my Mi Note 2.
This is my first Xiaomi phone, i was always with OnePlus and Kali Net Hunter was available or ported to each of their devices and I'm really missing it over here with Xiaomi.

Thank you for the kernel my friend, it's up and running. Couple of questions if I may.
1. The min CPU frequencies are running at:
748MHz on the little cluster
806MHz on the big cluster
Is that by design due to the over clocking??
2. During installation in twrp, the output read that "this is an unsupported configuration" however, it flashed and is running fine.
Just looking for a little clarification is all my friend. Thanks again for the kernel. I enjoy trying out new stuff :good:

You can set to lower iddle frequency in CPU boost setting. Those setting is work great for me. As performance wise and battery. Thanks

The flags " Completely unsupported OS configuration" is because you still on 8.1.0 correct.
here is the codes that check for it before you flash

I flashed a few hours ago and got the same error. I am on Havoc with the latest firmware and February vendor.

His post says "an unsupported configuration" not "Completely unsupported OS configuration". Based on your code it seems 8.1.0, P, and 9 (non November 2018) will trigger the unsupported message; and only 9 on November 2018 security patch will trigger the supported message. This code is not updated probably.

I think the "ASUS" things is related to DTS:HPX mod which is needed to be changed because of the mod's functionality. Anyway, I really thank you for including the dts commits.

Unfortunately, after upstreaming, compliling and flashing, the phone stucks on the boot screen and then crashed. So I want to get the source to compare.

but maybe i am wrong the one make it happen is also said he got it mod with some other base 4.4 kernel is show up on github you know he got mod for our device

kernel is at base the same in the link it should with the device specific mods like charge 4A...

can you tell me what means some android 10 gsi led is disabled ...?
mean that ... it is while our device only got red led so no colour is to change available?

is see that in some gsi too to choose but is not logic for our device...?

led stays on on some gsi-10 roms.

Yes i have been using it for about 1 month and i am testing it. I don't think LED notification is needed. Because most android 12 gsi roms already have ambient edge lighting. But i will try to solve it.
