I don't know if the problem is hardware or software. I've tried everything. Anybody can help?
I cannot turn on sometimes or charge the battery. I have to take off and try again.
Thanks!
When you get to the bootloader screen (with word Start) can you use the volume keys to navigate to Recovery and then press the power button to select? If so, once in recovery select Factory Data Reset.
Good luck.

The first time that i did the recovery, gave certain.
But, after freezes again.
I guess that problem is on battery, because i don't can charge in the wall or the computer, i have that take off several times the battery and put in the place for switch on and load again.
After updating to 4.1.2, I stupidly uninstalled the Google Calendar Storage from my phone's operating system. Is there a way for me to go back to 4.1.1 or do I need to un-root, and install the stock ROM and start over?
To make matters worse I failed to back-up the phone after the update.
OK, I followed this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2004650&page=41 and re-flashed to the ATT stock rooted ROM.
Everything went well, however it is stuck on the Samsung reboot screen and I can't access anything else in the phone or even turn it off, unless I pull the battery, after re-installing the battery it still hangs up on the Samsung screen. I was able to get back into download mode and try the process again with the same results. Any ideas? or is it a brick?
Got er back! tried the following;
1. Press and hold: Volume up + center "home" button + power
2. Once you see the Galaxy note 2 logo, let go of power, but KEEP holding Volume up + center "home" button until you boot into the Android system recovery (3e) menu
3. Select "wipe data/factory reset" (press power button to select item and volume to move up and down)
4. Select "wipe cache partition"
5. Once all that is done, select reboot system now.
I have problem with my Moto 360. I cannot factory reset my Moto 360. When I select factory reset and then confirm on green button it only shuts down, does NOT reset it self to factory default. How do I hard reset it via Home button or bootloader?
Anyone?
What is your battery level when resetting? I found mine had to be 80% or more for a reset.
I do have the same problem
Even while the battery is fully charged. Was in touch with motorola support and they say that I do have to RMA my watch ... I hope that there is also another way ...
I have the same problem!!!

Hi, this is my first post, so please bare with me. I had the same issue. I would attempt to factory reset using the option in the settings on the watch. The watch would showed a shutting down message and then restarted. However, it would usually either get stuck on the "M" screen and require a hard reset (holding down physical button for 25 seconds) or require me to place on charger and attempt to turn on again. (sometimes it would even be caught in a constant reboot sequence).
I did find a way though to factory reset the device. I enabled the lock screen option which is in the regular watch settings menu. Once I enabled a password pattern, I locked the device (again an option in settings). Then I attempted to unlock the device. After 3 attempts I was timed out (not sure how long, maybe a few minutes). Then I tried 3 more wrong password patterns, again timed out. I tried another 3 attempts, and now (after a total of 9 tries), the device asked me if I wanted to factory reset. I clicked yes and it restarted. When it turned on the device was factory reset!
A couple notes, I tried this twice. The first time it worked and restarted and was factory reset, no issue. The second time I tried this (a few days later), the device froze on the restart sequence, but after a physical hard reset (hold button for 25 seconds) it restarted and was actually factory reset.
Hopefully this helps. Let me know if it works for you as well. The watch also seems to work better after a factory reset, but I guess that's true with most devices.
Cheers!
I have exactly the same problem and lock screen trick does not work for me.
Every time I try to do the factory reset the watch just turns off. No reset.
My ultimate problem is that I have changed phones and now I can not connect the watch to any of them.
-------
Update:
After many tries I was able to do factory reset. So keep trying folks
i had to charge device 50+ and it factory resetted after reboot
moto 360 2nd gen stuck on start up screen
I have a similar problema but happened after the last update, and havenĀ“t been able to hard reset since it only shows the boot mode option on Normal Powerup. Ideas anyone? Is there a physical way of hard resetting the wathc beside the button?
I had the same problem but was able to revert back to a TWRP backup that remembered my watch, then after turning on the watch wi-fi and trying a few more times, power cycling the watch, etc it finally reset while on the charger about about 75% charge. YAY now its connected and updating ... seems to have worked

If the device is updated to Android Wear 6.0, follow these external reset instructions:
Power off the watch by holding the Power key for more than 15 seconds.
With device off, press and hold Power key. Hold the Power key until the watch vibrates 3 times. This takes about 5 seconds. ( WORKED ONLY WHILE THE WATCH WAS ON THE DOCK)
A black and white text screen will display Bootloader Version: 954 (if it displays anything below that, those instructions do not apply to your device).
Boot of this screen should show: Boot Mode: Normal Mode.
Press the Power key to cycle the boot mode until it shows: Boot Mode Recover Mode.
Press the Power key for about 1 second to boot into Recovery Mode.
Device will boot in recovery mode with the image of an android on its back.
Swipe up or down on the screen to see Recovery Mode UI and swipe left to select it.
Swipe down to find Wipe Data/factory Reset option and swipe left to select the option.
Swipe down to Yes and swipe left to select it.
The UI will show Wiping Data Screen.
The device will come back to recovery mode UI.
Swipe left to select the Reboot option.
Factory reset unavailable - this worked for me
I have a MOTO 360 first edition, and the only settings option it showed was a combined unpair from bluetooth and factory reset option. It didn't work.
Note: I did charge the watch full before attempting this form of reset. Thanks, leothelionman!

I can't swipe up or down in recovery mode any options?
I had to power down using the settings menu, the 25 second hold didn't work. Keeping it on the dock, I pressed the button until it vibrated once, then twice. To select recovery mode, I clicked the button once, then held it down until I saw the Moto logo. After that, I could follow the on-screen instructions to select factory reset.

thank you it worked using 2 fingers.
My wife's phone is stuck on the AT&T screen when booting. I am able to get into download mode, but am unsure of what to do next. I've downloaded the PC Suite and Mobile Support Tool (which seems to be more recent) from LG but in both cases when I do the update recovery I can't get it to work. The phone is totally stock, no root or anything, and as far as I know had the latest updates.
Can anyone help me bring the phone back from the dead?
This would probably work=
Ensure the device is power off.
Note If screen is frozen, remove/reinsert battery.
Press and hold the Volume Down button then press and hold the Power button. When the System recovery screen is displayed, release both buttons.
Select Factory data reset.
Note Utilize the Volume buttons to highlight and the Power button to select.
Select Yes.
Note Allow several minutes for the factory data reset and reboot processes to complete.
The randomly went into boot loop. I followed this guide suggested by @blackhawk in this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/mystery-stuck-at-boot-screen.4518803/, still no use.
I tried the following things:
1. Connected the device with pc and pressed the volume up and power button to get to recovery mode(no response ).
2. Performed soft reset by pressing volume down and power button(still went back to boot screen).
3. pressed tried to get to recovery mode by pressing power button and volume down after the screen went blank pressed volume up and power button to try get to recovery mode(went back to boot screen).
PS:
The device was working fine until it went into this button in a bizarre fashion.
The device has only play store approved apps.
No attempts were made to unlock bootloader or flash custom rom.
Battery is known to be good right? No rear cover bulging? If any doubt, replace it. A fair amount of power is needed to boot.
Otherwise...
Try to get it to go into safe mode, if that fails...
Factory reset from recovery menu. If that works the data user partition was corrupted likely by a 3rd party app or malware.
If that fails reflashing the rom is the only thing left to try. If that fails it's a hardware failure.

First of all thanks for the response it really means a lot
The response to the points mentioned:
1. The device looks healthy with no rear cover bulging.
2. I am unable to get to the recovery mode at all, any combination of button I press gets me back to the boot screen.
3. my laptop is not recognizing the device so i am not sure how to go about reflashing the rom.

You're welcome. Sorry to hear of all the trouble you're having.
If you can't access recovery mode ie boot menu you have big problems. Try to do it again plugged into the PC; the newer ones need this to access recovery mode on the Android I think.
Make sure the button sequence and timing are correct. Sometimes I goof it twice in a row
Try removing SD and sim cards. Does charging show on the display? Make sure it's at 70% or more.
Otherwise could it be a failure on one of the buttons? A cable may loose? I don't think a C port failure would cause this but not sure if that's always true. Unless dropped or water damaged mobos rarely fail but this is a possibility.
Maybe someone here has a better plan...
