Oh for gods sake..everyone now a days is the XDA police. Why dont you let the moderators decide why the thread is here and not there?
Why not just thank a developer for doing something that you neither have inclination nor the calibre or the talent to do or understand. Why not just say "OK cool...dual boot system...nice..I'll try it out..maybe I'll see something different from the 'thread already posted there'" instead of *****ing about it and asking for explanations like you own this forum!

Problem with SDcard partitioning on Redmi Note 5 Pro

Hi, I bought a new Xiaomi Redmi 5 Pro Global as one of the phones that support MultiRom, to replace my broken LG G3.
For MultiRom I have a Samsung 64GB class10 sdcard that I had partitioned into two partitions, one vfat for data and one ext4 for external roms.
On LG G3 with any Rom I had absolutely no problem having both partitions recognized in recovery mode (naturally I had to use Multirom recovery). But on Whyred only the first partition is recognized in any recovery, and that's a huge problem with MultiRom as I cannot select the second partition to install my external roms.
Moreover, when I try to use the partition SDcard option (only supported in TWRP 3.2.2 and Redwolf), the card is partitioned only into the first partition, and the second one always returns error 134.
I'm very disappointed at that, and I don't know what to do. I tried several roms as primary, MIUI (unfortunately I was stupid enough to let my phone update so I'm stuck only to anti4 roms), RRemix etc, but nothing helps.
Any ideas are welcome, since I even consider selling my phone and it's only two weeks old (I unlocked the bootloader only a few days ago).

Rediscovered nexus 7

I found my old nexus 7 in a cupboard a few weeks ago, the usb charging port wasnt in good shape but i managed to get twrp and DotOS android 9 installed via adb before the port finally stopped working. I dont use any gapps. Luckily i am able to charge the nexus wirelessly.
I don't want to repartition the system partition in case i can't install a new rom etc. Are there other android 9 roms that install on the small system partition size? Or is it possible to repartition and install android 10 roms without a usb cord?

oh sorry didnt dig into the google searches much.
as repartition will wipe everything on the device, it will be impossible to transfer the rom to the tablet afterwards and so you can not flash the rom, bricking the device.
so well just forget android 10 and other stuff. it is impossible, treat it as no other roms than android 9 had been developed for the device.
you can install google apps from this
Google Installer (Android)
Install Google apps on Xiaomi devices
