So i'm a new user here for Xiaomi and i see the auto brightness is broken, it goes too dim and refuses to set properly, i found an auto brightness file to flash here which is supposed to fix it, i rooted, unlocked bootloader but it won't flash, it keeps giving an error 123. What should i do now?

Hi i have extracted the Advanced_Configuration_Tool_v3.2.zip - 4 files into a folder and copied that folder into my p3600i.
AdvancedConfig.exe
AdvancedConfig_040C.xml
AdvancedConfig_0409.xml
fr->AdvancedConfig.resources.dll
I clicked on AdvancedConfig.exe and its works fine.
However i can't get the screen options below.
Auto device lock
Auto device lock timeout
Dim backlight in unlock screen
Backlight lock level
Question :-
Have I installed the software correctly?
If not how should i do it?
I have the same issue.. now my device is locked every time my light dims, very annoying... tried already the reg setting...doesn't change
So, I have an issue with my backlight... I'm running Cyanogenmod 10 and just switched off my automatic backlight. However, for some reason, that resulted in the backlight being set so dark that I can't see anything on the screen... I managed to reboot the phone, but as I kinda expected, that didn't help anything. I can see the boot logo when rebooting, but at some point the screen just goes dark.
I don't want to have to factory reset. Is there some way of resetting the backlight settings? Some googling seems to indicate that I would need to edit settings.db, but which key needs to be changed? The phone is currently off, I have access to the recovery (TWRP), but that's about it. I don't have ADB enabled. And to make it even more fun, it seems I'm unable to mount /data to USB storage, sooo... i can't get to the settings.db file? Any other way?
EDIT: OK, fixed it myself. Apparently, the sun is bright enough to read the screen anyway.
Last night i changed screen lock password and now i am stuck as i forgot the password.
I have tried following solutions that i found on google.
1. Android lock screen can be bypassed by overloading with massive password ( Failed as my android is patched, not able to copy from dial screen ).
2. ADB can not be used as developer mode is disabled.
3. Google Android device manager has failed to ring or change the screen lock password as internet is off and there is no way to turn on WI-Fi or Data on lollipop when screen is locked.
Do i have any option other than Wipe Data/ Factory Reset. :fingers-crossed:
Hello all, I have a weird bug after accepting the OTA to Android 10 two days ago. I noticed that the UI is stuck in immersive mode, meaning the nav bar and status bar disappear after a second or two. I am rooted but have not modified any system files. Went into Custom Restrictions and made sure that there was nothing checked. Not sure what else could be causing this or is there a setting somewhere that I am not finding. I toggled gestures back to 3-button and that didn't do anything either. Thanks
I managed to fix it...
Not sure how or what caused this command to be executed but "settings put global policy_control immersive.full=*" was enabled, had to rerun it without the *

I´m on stock rom, but since first miui 11 update the phone only vibrates when charging. I´ve tried to change all settings on accessibility and "sound and vibration", nothing solves the problem.
Any hints?
Found a solution! Looks like a bug, vibration isn't restored when phone leaves battery saving mode. Vibrations can be restored via ADB (but you need to allow write secure settings in developer options) using
settings put global battery_saver_constants "vibration_disabled=false,animation_disabled=true,adjust_brightness_disabled=false"
EDIT: after some time vibration was disabled again, even without entering battery saving mode.
I'm facing this also with PocoF1
