ADB disable app settings - Samsung Galaxy S20 / S20+ / S20 Ultra Questions &

I am trying to disable notifications on all app:s except 4.
And I am also trying to disable battery optimization on the 4 apps.
How can I list settings on a specific app? Like i do with "adb shell settings list system"
Any one having ideas to make it work?
Samsung S20 SM-980F
Thanks

Just go to the apps info page on the phone and you can change permissions and notifications from there
Long press the app shortcut and hit the (i) information icon or access it from settings > apps

Bluetooth settings shortcut in TW roms

Can anyone please tell me if they have figured out a way to create a homescreen shortcut to open bluetooth settings on a TW rom on a Note 2?
Perhaps I am missing something obvious, but nothing I have tried has worked. I can create a shortcut for every other setting that works, but the one for bluetooth always says "app isn't installed." I have tried many bluetooth settings apps and widgets in the playstore, but none of them have worked - they all state "<appname> has stopped" when invoked.
TIA for any help.
I have different tiles on my pull down notification shade. If I long press on a tile the settings menu opens.
I did not know that you could long press the icons to get the settings. Thanks!

Quick Circle question

Is there a way to not allow notifications on the quickcircle, like message, etc?
Yes you can customise the apps you want to have....go to Settings/General/quickcircle case (tap it to open the apps list designed for the case) then deselect messages.
If you want more apps, download quickcircle apps from the play store.

That doesn't do it. The notifications still show
How about...
Settings > Security > Notification access
then uncheck the Quick Notifications
is this what you are looking for?

history of notifications

Hi all,
I try to access to the history of the notifications with the widget parameter, but I don't find it in the list of the parameter widget.
Is it possible to do so on oxygenos?
Thanks.
If you have Nova Launcher it's under widgets > activities > settings > notification log.
Thanks I found it, but unfortunately I see the screen of history of notifications 1/2 seconde and close.
What's wrong?
I reboot my phone and it's work.

Disabling unneeded apps/bloatware

I wanted to remove (disable) some of the apps I don't need (starting with Chrome and Weather); however, the Disable icon on the app properties page is grayed out. I then checked a few other "system" apps and none of them had the disable button working.
Is this some new Oreo "feature", or is it Xiaomi / Mi Max 3 specific? I know that on a Huawei device running stock Nougat a few months ago, disabling was available.
(On a side note - is it possible that MIUI doesn't include "search" (for apps) on the homescreens?)
You can disable system apps by following this:
Set the language to english, go to Play store -> Help & feedback, find and open the following article "Delete or disable apps on Android", you will see a link named "Tap to go to Application Settings", tap it and the stock app manager will appear.
it's not oreo or max 3 feature, it's just hidden. download from play market - Redmi System Manager, no root requires, open app, give it permissions (if asks) touch the button on the bottom (three point vertically) press Show system apps, find and disable. I've disabled many useless apps this way
Thanks, seems it gets to the same stock app manager as the one from Help&Feedback in Store app. Also, I came across an app MIUI Hidden Settings which also pretty much accomplishes the same (and has lots of other features as well). So there is hope (until I actually read parts of Xiaomi's Privacy Policy, which made me worried...).
But it seems that Xiaomi (if I compare it to my Huawei experience) is much more stringent when it comes to being able to disable crap. For instance, I was able to disable Chrome and Google Photos, but Feedback, Cleaner, and stock Browser have a grayed out Disable button no matter what.

Question Little dots on Apps missing on new messages

Hi there!
I don't know how they are called in the english original, but on my P6P I really miss the little dots e.g. on the Mail App when there are new messages.
In my options it has this option and it is on, but there aren't any of these dots. I really miss them, cause so you always have to pull down to see where there's something new when you are already using your phone.
Anyone a conclusion for me?
In the GMail app? I can't picture the dots.
That's called "Notification dot on app icon" and can be found in System Settings --> Notifications, down near the bottom.
It can also be turned on and off on a per-application basis by going into the application specific notification settings at System Settings --> Notifications --> App settings --> {whatever}, and switching on/off the option to "Allow notification dot" at the bottom.
But personally, I dislike this "feature". If the application notifies you, then why not click it instead of running around through your menus trying to find the one with the dot?
Thank you for the right name of what I'm looking for
But no I don't run around looking for these dots, I just open the phone and mostly there are WhatsApp or Mail news and I always have to look inside to see if there's anything new when I don't want to swipe down for my notifications.
The Settings are all set, but there are no dots for me!
Don't know if this matters, but I use the Nova Launcher.

Click to collapse
You need to allow notification access in Nova for the dots or badges to appear. Go into Nova settings > Notification Badges and then tap the message at the bottom of your screen to enable read access to notifications.
You can also check if notifications have been disabled by going into System Settings > Notifications > Device and App Notifications and checking if Nova is enabled or disabled.
The hint with the settings brought me to the solution I think. It seems you need Nova Launcher Prime for the dots
