Dead after Odin Update to TB1 - Samsung Galaxy S7 Active Questions & Answers

Coming from Mid 2017 Nougat I decided to Odin update to Oreo as I had to type in SIM Pin when waking up my unit.
Afer flash the unit became very unstable, freezing screen, getting stuck leading to reboot or Power Off.
When trying to charge the LED turned red and stayed even without charger connected (wireless the same).
But it didn't charge so nuw the battery is flat and there is no way to charge it seems.
Any suggestions how to resurrect, at least to reflash?

Similar issues
I have a rooted and lightly modded stock 2.3.6 but I've been having these issues ever since I rooted and I was on stock 2.3.5
1. Charger sometimes doesn't charge at all
2. If I'm on a call via bluetooth and I connect it, it won't charge until I hang up
3. My previous charger for my t959 was working for the 1st week and now it doesn't charge my phone at all.
4. after i plug in my phone to my oem charger it takes about 10 seconds to recognize it and then starts charging
I don't know what the hell this is but it's pissing me off. I've done a wiped dalvik and don't a clean install and nothing changes. I didn't have this problem the 1st week i had the phone but now on my 3rd week it's pissing me off.
I hope someone has an answer or at least a similar problem.
I think it is charging. It just not showing it is charging until your turn on the screen.
Happen to my phone too, but it is charging.
I would love it show the orange light when charging and green light on full charge.

Galaxy S II Won't Turn On or Charge!!!

BACKGROUND:
At first, it just started turning off for no reason (probably a month and a half ago).
Then this week, it would start to randomly turn off, and start vibrating constantly when charging. After fiddling with the buttons, it would eventually find itself into download mode and then later turn itself on.
NOW:
Monday morning, after several days of draining the battery to 0% (due to me solely charging it for an hour a day), the phone went dead. Then, that night, upon trying to charge it and turn it on, it remained stuck on a black screen. After taking out the battery, it would continuously beep while still connected to the charger. As soon as I put in the battery, it would become COMPLETELY unresponsive, with and without the charger. After fiddling with it for over an hour, I put it down and slept, leaving the battery and charge in the phone.
Tuesday morning, I clicked the power button, and the phone flashed to the lock screen. It displayed it was at 0% battery, but I think it showed a charging sign. I used the phone for almost 2 minutes, checking my texts, before it again went completely black. The phone became completely unresponsive (no beeping or anything, regardless of anything I did). I connected it to a wall charger again, and left it there for the entire afternoon.
Then when I picked it up at around 6 o clock, I discovered that the continuous beeping stopped, and it would only beep after holding the power button for around 5 seconds. It could beep regardless of whether the battery was out or not.
After charging it all that night, I found I could make it flash the Samsung logo for a fraction of a second after holding down both volume buttons and the power button. I looked it up, and supposedly it brings you to recovery mode, but I believe my phone is switching off immediately after bringing up the logo.
At around 12, Tuesday night, I again decided to hold down the power button (just to reassure myself of it still somewhat functioning), and it powered on for around ten seconds (!!!) . It got all the way to the end of the pink loading bar screen, but then beeped and restarted. The second time, it lasted only around three seconds, without even getting to the loading bar screen, before powering off. It became completely unresponsive afterwards, no beeping, regardless of where it was charging and whether the battery was in or not.
Wednesday morning (today), after having left it charge all night, the phone still was completely unresponsive. I then left it to charge the entire afternoon (until now), and it was still completely unresponsive. I took it apart and played around with the power button, but it didn't seem to be stuck. I've now put it back together and leaving it connected to the wall charger once again.
What I've Tried:
Tried connecting it to Kies (computer doesn't even recognize it)
Tried putting into Recovery Mode (unresponsive)
Tried putting into Download Mode (unresponsive)
Switched chargers (unresponsive)
Held power button (beeps, now doesn't do anything)
Held both volume buttons and power button (beeps then quickly flashes samsung logo)
Cleaned off some of the micro usb lint with a tooth pick (coincided with the stopping of continuous beeping, not sure if it caused it)
What I think it could be:
Faulty power button (this is what I thought it was, but now it's not vibrating)
Faulty battery (I kept draining to 0%, but if this is the problem, it doesn't explain the phone not displaying anything when it's connected to a charger w/o battery inside)
Faulty usb charging port (I've heard it sometimes causes vibration problems. wouldnt explain the restarting).
Fried motherboard (phone has had some water damage, but I'm not sure if it's the MOBO, considering its symptoms)
HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
Not Alone
hey, this isnt really an answer, but maybe something to bump this up. Mine went last night.... won't boot, won't charge... goes into download mode but no matter how many times i switch cables, install Samsung drivers, install Keis, or anything imaginable- i cannot get it to communicate with my PC. if i could i would be able to fix this problem.
i really hope that someone will take a look at these issues and give some input. my call to Samsung was useless, i wasted hours with redundancy. I bought the phone used off Ebay in mint condition... have taken it apart and cleaned it with no avail. i fear that soon the battery will be dead and there's no way to charge it. sucks. Samsung really should recall/replace this because so many people have similar issues. whether it's the USB Flex or the battery or the motherboard they should be responsible. looks like ill be getting a nexus 4 afterall.
please let me know if you figure anything out.

It may be your battery, u need to remember why they tell u not to run the phone that way, the batteries our phones run need to maintain a certain charge in order to work correctly, if like u said u only charged it an hr or so a fah for over a week and drained completely more than once u may have rendered ur battery unable to hold a charge, in effect not allowing the phone to run its boot process, I would try a new battery, because beyond that the only other logical explanation is a hardware failure, stuck power button wouldn't render the device unresponsive only when the battery was put in like that, it would bootloop, have u ever just held ur power button in? The phone vib an shuts down a. Vib again n shut down, not become unresponsive, I would try a new battery, and if it works, respect the charge lol

I would agree, seems to be the battery. I bought 2 batteries and a 110V charger on eBay for $30. They don't have the NFC antenna in them but I've never missed it. Not only that but charging that way saves the wear and tear on the USB port.

Unexpected symptoms, need help assessing and figuring possible solutions

First time posting , I guess, usually I just browse through for info... but now I feel a bit in a dead end.
Spent a few days snowboarding with the phone in pocket, so exposure to cold subzero temp. lowest around maybe -10, only symptom during that period was camera started flickering showing purple lines but worked fine later on.
Also had trouble charging one night, as phone spent entire night being plugged in only to show it was discharging the whole time, and battery low in the morning, couldn't get it charge even after cleaning port making sure its clean and dry.
Phone ended up running out juice and powering down completely... it didn't respond for hours (tried different chargers) but than suddenly the power bank I use showed it started drawing about 9V and 0.1/0.2A for some time and it slowly started drawing more power and charging to 100% took more time then usual...
Next time I tried charging it when it became low around 20% it wouldn't charge from the wall charger or battery charger.
Tried a lot of resetting, rebooting, but the battery just started dropping really fast each reset.
Plugged it in and tried the volume up/down, power button reset but all that did was a multiple resets and still wouldn't draw charge from anything.
In the end it just stopped responding to anything.
I would show a few orange flashes when I plug it to something and than stop.
Tried leaving it plugged in all night but nothing. Leaving it alone for 3 days also did nothing.
Then it stopped even showing the few orange blinks.
Current status:
Plugged it into computer usb and started showing orange flashes, decided to leave it plugged in.
Showed on screen the battery and 0% after a few min. Screen brightness increased after 20min.
Now its been 3h and its still only showing 0% for battery and flashing the orange light every few seconds, nothing else.
Will go to sleep now and leave it plugged in computer all night.

Have you tried a different USB cable & charger?
There have been numerous reports in these forums concerning charging issues with the device. If you've cleaned the USB port on the phone and have tried multiple USB cables and chargers, then most likely your battery is the culprit and needs to be replaced.

In a lot of cases they managed to restart the phone...
Yes I did that. Phone is still showing 0% battery after being plugged in computer usb, I find it funny how it wasn't responding at all to the wall chargers. Now for the question of the day, can I have the battery replaced without losing data? I asked a service center that kinda could be a HTC representative but cannot confirm it and they insisted that they have to do factory reset.

Can you charge the phone up and get the phone to boot to TWRP? If so you can mount your phone to your computer and back up all of your files on your internal storage to your computer.

I don't have TWRP but I just did manage to enter the stock recovery? and its just sitting there not really charging up but using 9V and 0.4A to stay powered up in that mode.
Can you tell me if I go to service center to get the battery changed will I lose all data by default of that process?

I wouldn't think that merely changing the battery would cause you to lose your data, or why they would do anything to your phone that would wipe your data from the phone.

Alright, that was my primary concern, thank you. The service sector where I live is pretty bad, and they do stupid stuff, follow stupid rules.
Update: I switched through a couple of chargers, and tried going into recovery after which I initiated a restart, phone booted normally and showed 24% battery, now is connected to original QC 3.0 ... and charging up, but stopped after 1%, I unplugged it and plugged it again and it continues to charge now with steady orange light? this is really nerve wrecking... what is the real issue? battery, charging port?
My goal is to try to charge 100% back up everything and then I can send it service.

[D855, Stock MM] Phone only does something without battery & while charging

So I bought a used and seemingly working D855. Could start/restart and use it just fine. At home I turned it off and now it won't turn on again. No notification led, no vibration, nothing.
If I take out the battery and plug in the charger the screen turns on with the usual charging screen and the exclamation mark. As soon as I put in a battery the screen turns off and it doesn't react to anything anymore until I take out the battery, regardless of if the charger is plugged in or not. I actually have another LG G3 and switched batteries, they are both charged and not the issue (both work in the other phone).
The dead phone is on stock MM (I think 30n), not rooted, no recovery yet. I haven't used it yet so it was completely on stock, not a single non-stock app installed.
I am completely puzzled, since I can't get into recovery/factory reset or download mode or even get a bootloop or something like that. Any ideas?

Showing Oneplus Logo when connected to charger. No Boot after dropping

I have changed the screen recently and I dropped the phone earlier today and it is not responding at all.
when I plug it in, it only shows 1+ Android screen and dies. It doesnt even do that when unplugged.
Not able o get into recovery/fastboot anything!
Stock Rom, Latest firmware.
Please help!
You can try by checking the flex cable connection in the phone. It might loose when it dropped.
