[GW] Change CSC to original XAR will get updates? - Samsung Galaxy Watch

I have a Galaxy Watch from the USA (original XAR), but I changed it to ITV to try to make it with with Samsung pay in Italy, which didn't work (my bank is not supported).
If I change CSC back to XAR, will it get the new 5.5 update?
update:
I went ahead and tried it myself, went back to 4.0.0.4 and changed CSC to XAR, and tried to use auto update from the Wear app, it didn't detect anything, not even the newer 4.0.0.7.
I updated manually with NetOdin to the latest 4.0.0.7 (DTG1), and upon opening the Wear app updates it detected and started downloading the 5.5.0.1 update.

T-Mobile Galaxy Watch SM-R805U 46mm LTE Will Not Update. Period. Help!

Since I purchased the watch from my local T-Mobile back in August 2018, I have never been able to update the thing. battery life is abysmal along with a few other glitches. According to T-Mobile (and their "updates" website), I should have received at least 2 updates since then.
I am currently running SW version R805USQU1ARH8
Tizen Version 4.0.0.0
The watch, itself, does not have an "update SW" option.
The Wearable app always gives me the same message..."You're on the latest software version. No updates available"
Everyone, from Samsung to T-Mobile's reps seem completely stumped. I have reset the watch, reset the phone, updated the Wearable app, so many times I have lost track - I'm hoping that someone here can help me fix this issue.
Thanks in advance.
I did it with net Odin and I think you update it with Samsung watch app on your phone
1.
Why not use warranty blabla crap and T-Mobile Service center or Samsung should update the watch...
2.
http://fota-cloud-dn.ospserver.net/firmware/TMB/SM-R805U/version.xml
If SM-R805U is T-Mobile CSC/Sales Code... then you see how many Firmwares official and latest... in this Link.
3.
Update mechanism is """"Running Gag"""...
If you choose to use Phone + ugly Samsung Software...
Phone look for Update on Server....
Menu on SM-R805U is DEACTIVATED...
3.1
If you choose Standalone Configuration... you will find menu Software update... on Watch
4.
Update at Home are more risky... require netOdin AAAAAAAAAANNNNd you need the Firmware Files.... leaked files...
Most on PAID Sites... example:

go to settings use dial code to factory reset or did you try that
I had the same issue, I used the post here with the BSE3 update and odin to update my watch the newest version. My watch was doing the same thing saying it was updated when it was not. It was super simple and didn't take that long.

S9 pie update via samfirm

I downloaded the pie update from samfirm program.
Then used Odin.. put the appropriate files BL.AP.CSC.
Like I have many of times on my s7 .Odin did its thing for like 5 mins. Said successful.
How ever the phone booted up as it was. When I do the same things but change the CSC to the non home one it wipes everything.
For some strange reason I feel that it didnt update from RWC TO XAC
How can i confirm the change took place?
Samsung Phone INFO app on play store
I tried the app and still on RWC.
Is there a new method for updating via Odin?
You cannot switch between CSCs if they are both contained in the same MultiCSC unless you change SIM cards to a card from that region
Okay thanks!

Flashed Pie from another region. Samsung Pay not available on my phone. Workaround?

Does anyone know how can I make Samsung Pay work? I got DBT firmware with ROM CSC. The app is not available on my phone.
I tried to download it, but when it starts, it checks for update and then says it can't update.
Thanks!
The workaround is install the correct firmware for your region. Simple as that.

Problem after changing CSC

Hello,
I have changed the CSC of my Active 2 44mm (not LTE). Everything has been correct, except for two things:
1 - I still get the green letters when I start the clock, on the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 presentation
2 - Now I try to upgrade by OTA (through the phone's app) and when it reboots, it says that the firmware could not be installed.
How do I fix both? Thanks
Put everything back the way it was (Fully Restore to Default) and try to update software.
Are you able to identify Model Name?
I hate this mm nons.nse.
Example:
SM-R820?
I am too lazy to google how long is yours... Firmware.
Colors in Booting is Engineer Bootloader sboot.bin (from Combination firmware) is still on device... this brings FOTA over the air to fail...
Because wrong Bootloader on device... from "chain of trust" selfcheck...
Best Regards
hi, I have a similar issue with the sm-r825f, after I changed csc to Germany... I got a watch from UK (BTU) unfortunately and wasn't able to set up esim. Now after I changed csc and flashed R825FXXU1ASJ3, esim works fine but I am stuck on ONE UI 1.5 and scanning for updates keeps failing.
What's the easiest way to make OTA work again?
Can I simply reflash a certain firmware? Can you recommend or link the files?
Sry if any information is missing!
Thank you all for your help!

Stock firmware for Active2 XSG (UAE)

Hi there! I was trying to change region on my Active2 from XSG to SER, but after installing CSC for my R820 I ended up on endless loading.. So now I am looking for stock firmware for XSG (UAE). Where I can find it or buy it? Thanks!
Are you able to unpack/extract files with Tool 7Zip?
Because XSG is inside OXA package... means in all leaked SM-R820 FirmwareS.
IMHO something else wrong...
Maybe start from scratch...
What you did and which Files you used?
Filenames usefull to understand what you did...
Best Regards
Hi adfree, thanks for the answer!
Yes, I can unpack files with 7Zip.
First of all, I updated the firmware to 5.5.0.2 and got version R820XXU1DUA7.
Made full reset on the watches.
After that, I downloaded the necessary files to change the region to my PC.
I have booted the watch into wireless download mode.
I connected to the watch via Wi-Fi from PC.
In the AP, I selected the COMBINATION-FT40_R820XXU1ASI2.tar file and flashed it.
After that, I made a reset in netOdin, and added the file CSC_OXA_R820OXA1ASHF_usr.tar to CSC and flashed it.
After that, I tried to boot into recovery mode, but something went wrong: there was an endless loading with text "SAMSUNG Galaxy Watch Active2".
I realized that I had made a mistake because of Tizen version. I again booted the watch into wireless download mode and through netOdinflashed all 3 files from smR820XXU1ASHF (AP, BL, CSC). (downgraded to 4.0.0.6)
After that, I again flashed the AP combinative firmware COMBINATION-FT40_R820XXU1ASI2.tar, then again the CSC CSC_OXA_R820OXA1ASHF_usr.tar.
And again I got an endless download.
After that I tried many different firmwares, but none of them resulted in booting in recovery mode after combinative firmware.
After all I installed R820XXU1CTI4 AP_R820XXU1CTI4_usr.tar + BL_R820XXU1CTI4_usr.tar + CSC_OUA_R820OUA1CTI4_usr.tar. Now I can't even update the Tizen version, because after the update, when watches is loaded, it gives me a notification "Couldn't update software. Try again later"
I will be insanely grateful to you if you help me
And one more question. When I start Spay, it says "Your watch was modified and can't access Samsung Pay". Does it means I will be never able to access spay?
Maybe, if I will flash stock firmware for XSG R820XXU1DUA7 all of my problems will gone? I think update is not installing because watches trying to install R820XXU1DUA3 update, but for XSG region I need R820XXU1DUA7? Thats why I'm searching for R820XXU1DUA7
I think u need to downgrade to tizen 4 before u can change region
